Hi,
So I recently installed CM11 on my HTC Explorer A310B and everything successfully works fine except for Google Play. The issue is that everytime I try to sign in I receive the message: "There was a problem communicating with Google servers......Try again later." Does anybody know of a fix for this issue? I have tried multiple GAPPS files and CM11 installations but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Sorry I can't post links as I am a new member but the Cyanogenmod 11 I installed is a unofficial release canidate from galaxyfreak's development page and the GAPPS packaged I installed was the one from the Cyanogenmod wiki.
I have also tried other GAPPS packages such as the one galaxyfreak posted on the CM11 development page but to no avail and I am now about to try the Paranoid Android GAPPS micro modular package.
Thanks.
Install Google play services

Cheers I will try that. I had a feeling it might have something to do with Google Play Services as none of the other GAPPS are working properly as well.

Bugs:
Only report bugs for OFFICIAL RELEASE.
For proper technique on reporting bugs:
Read THIS and THIS.
When reporting a bug be as specific as possible.
Make sure you can replicate the bug when coming from a clean install with no other apps installed besides what comes with ROM and GApps.
If you narrowed down a specific app that crashes only on CM ROM then please include app version and all info about app too.
Do not have any modifications done to the Android system besides.
It is very important to read on the proper technique to report a bug. Helps keep thread clean and makes tracking issues easier.
If your D850 is not on AT&T then use this TWRP flashable patch to update the APN files.
Thank you!

I don't care what everyone talks about in this thread, just try to keep it on somewhat topic. The thing that irks me the most is buggy bug reports. Do not need to hear this is broke fix it, PLEASE, I can not stress it enough...PLEASE provide as much detail as you can when reporting bugs. The more detail your reports are the better a chance we will look at it and fix it.
Thanks!
PS. This is how I am feeling about now oh and especially with the incall audio bug which seems like the mother of all bugs
@AndroidUser00110001 am i right to say that on initial install, one should wipe/format system as well?
To the Devs,
I must say, this ROM is excellent. Three weeks ago I purchased my new LGG3 LG-VS985 after using a MotoX for a year. I have been a faithful CyanogenMod user for a couple years. This new CM12 Lollipop ROM is simply the best ever, on the best phone available.
Excellent Job!.... To all the Devs!!!

I didn't have time to clean flash, so I dirty flashed over the last Unofficial before the switch, being sure to wipe System/Cache/Dalvik, and I haven't had any massive issues other than the commits from the EXPERIMENTAL thread/build not being included yet (check that thread for AU's list).
I clean flashed this and it says my phone is not rooted?

Google Sync
Anyone experience Google not syncing after installing the latest from Cyanogen's site? What I get is "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
Wiped everything on install like I always do. Tried again and same thing. Tried different gapps just in case. I finally went back to stock ver. and everything is fine.
I've tried it so many times I'll wait to hear from someone else before flashing it again. lol

Its possible.. Its also possible that cm is behind a little. Idk.
Has anyone else noticed that the Gapps for SlimLP aren't downloadable? I decided to try out SlimLP so I started the download, then I go to get the Gapps. I go to the add-ons tab on the website and click on beta LP Gapps. Then there is the list of Gapps(mini, normal, full) and then the dates on which they were packaged or whatever. So I click the newer full Gapps and click the download button and it loads another page and then it says, The recommended file was not found! Please inform your Webmaster. I went back and clicked on the other Gapps packages to see if they had the same problem too, and they did. But all the KitKat Gapps are working fine. Does anyone know why, or have this same problem?
You can get newest version of gapps from http://209.95.39.164. It's being maintained by a member of the Slim team while their website is being fixed.

What works well for me are the Slim Gapps
Add the Issue Tracker link in the OP. There you can view current and resolved issues. Also I can confirm that there is a GApps issue...It should be fixed in today's/tomorrow's update.
Here is the feature list for the first SiriusAOSP release. View it here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hNao-Hfz_DKL2iR2m95vD-bSsE5cyIrGEveYB8dhp7o/edit?usp=sharing
New build up. ROM still not daily driver material but GApps now work. All I am going to say is you might want to check the Issue Tracker.
Another new build. This build was mostly a bug fix one. Check changelog for details. No major issues.

New build up. Finally everything works. GAPPS WORK thanks to @joshndroid ... Also a few features added. MANY BUGS FIXED! Check changelog and enjoy
EDIT: You may get a few Google Play Services FCs at first boot on a clean install (Due to ungranted permissions). Just press "Ok" on each of the popups and continue and u will be fine.

I don't understand. Is there anything to report in this ROM? Nothing since November. I just got my 5x so I'll try this ROM out. And report good and bads.
Edit: so I'm not misunderstood. I don't mean we need something from devs, that's not what Im saying. What I'm wondering is if anyone who has tried and ran this ROM had anything else to say on it. Yes, I see its still 6.0 but ehh I'm just curious.

This ROM ran good when I ran it. I think dev added in some placeholders for some future features, but then he disappeared, then other, more updated ROMs started to come out.

EXPERIMENTAL BUILD
First off this wouldn't be possible without mikeNG, TheMuppets, LineageOS team
I'm just the cook
Devices supported: R7f, ONLY
Do not flash this rom on any other R7 variants. It will brick the device
What works:
Unknown
Haven't tested it fully. All basic functions seem to be in working order.
Will update 'What works / doesn't ' later on.
What doesn't:
Camera issue - Sometimes the camera's color appears to be inverted. Switch HDR on/off fixes it.
Installation notes
Clean install required!
Perform a full wipe when coming from 14.1/15.1
Downloads:
LineageOS 16.0 for Oppo R7f
[Gapps -> ARM ->9.0]
*Don't use the Aroma variant. TWRP doesn't like it
[TWRP Recovery for R7f] (twrp-3.2.1-0 or higher)
Be aware. It's a initial release. Do not expect everything to be working flawlessly. Do make a full backup prior of installing
If you're not fully comfortable/sure about installing an Experimental release than please don't. I'm not responsible for any harm done
**Reserved**
Temp: Please do report any device specific issues
Very good. I will try los16 soon
Holy **** you guys are amazing! After all this time you're still making updates for the Oppo R7 series! Really impressed.
I have an Oppo R7 Plus myself. Any word on if that'll be supported some time as well?
I've tried los 16.0
no meaningful bugs.
overall, I like it very much.
work
1. Cas vooc works
2. Dt2w works
3. The battery saving display is not red
4. Wifi, hotspots work
5. The cellular network feels more stable
Not work
1. Bluetooth sometimes doesn't work
2. Showing download and upload speeds do not work
3. The camera sometimes errors if hdr is on
The rest is quite satisfied with the performance of los 16.0. if there is less and more it will be notified later.
Cmiiw
Thank you very much

MAC addresse wrong
Thank you very much!
Yesterday I tried this ROM. Unfortunately, my device's MAC address was always rusty. 02: 00: 00: 00: 00:00. I did it with the latest TWRP program but I also tried the 3.2.1 recommended by you. If the original ColorOs returned, it was good again. I've always done a full wipe. What can I do wrong?
@ph03nae,
Thanks for the update!
What version of GApps do you use? I used the full version before, but since the LineageOS 16 release is bigger, I wonder whether it will fit.

For lineageOS 16, I have been using the mini version of GApps instead of the full version because an error sometimes occur saying that there is not enough space for the GApps full version installation. Hope this helps!
@ph03nae,
I followed your advice and also used the mini version of the GApps and installation went flawless.
I noticed that the Pixel Launcher does not work, so you have to use Trebuchet.
I also noticed that battery life is way better than with Android 8.1 !
Thanks for your work, the phone really works fine again.
Could someone please advise me how I can tell if I have an OPPO rplusf or an OPPO rplusg. I live in Australia. Thanks in advance

You're welcome! (But just to give credit to those who actually work on the code see https://github.com/LineageOS?utf8=✓&q=oppo&type=&language= )
Also, for the issue regarding Pixel Launcher, this is a fix I used (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/pie-pixel-stuff-t3846138) After flashing both zips according to the given instructions, the pixel launcher app can also be updated separately using .apk files.
