Not right now..

Quiet in these parts.. That bad huh? I know a few things are not working like touch to wake and color calibration but every thing else worked I thought..
I even built a custom launcher with gesture options so we can double tap screen to sleep..

Of I have time later I will downgrade to 2.15 and try.
Ps: none of your roms were bad, you have even built in features that other popular roms didn't had...

Works fine )) but can't restore apps with titanium (

You are the man $droyd$.
Thanks so much for the ROM. I've been using it for more than 24 hours. This is the Lollipop I like the most. It's smooth and responsive. No random reboot. Battery looks normal. Just missing some features in your previous ROMs. But it's normal at the early stages of a new ROM.
BTW, is it possible to get the option to change Recent button to Menu button? Or is there a way to do it manually? I do need menu button.
hboot 2.15, radio 1.20

There is an option, to set long press home button as open/close menu. I don't know, where exactly in this rom, but it might be under interface. Otherwise you have to search a bit.

Yes, it's under interface. Thanks very much. That solves the problem. Now it's my daily driver.

Nice one $droid$ - as always !
Just one thing - is it me or is it not possible to change lcd density? When I change the value within settings and reboot nothing changes. I found out that when I change the value und then click again to see my lcd-density settings it is back to 240. Even when I change the value in build.prop is has no effect... any idea? Thanks

Btw do you actually consider adding a equalizer like viper4android? I really like that one but the standard app keeps crashing when opening other apps so I thought implementing it into the rom might help?!

when i try to delete call history, error message appears saying -
unfortunately, contacts has stopped.
when on loud speaker on a phone for too long, it won't hang up.
clean install, without gapps.

How to Change The Build And Software Numbers

I have'nt seen this on the forum,so i thought i would post this,i think this is a cool mod,i use it to add custom to my rom, anyway this is not my guide,it was originally posted by Sam Sarsten.
It may not be the coolest thing you could mod on your rooted HTC EVO, but the build and software version numbers can be changed very easily. Whether you want to see your name, feel cool and have it say "Ice Cream Sandwich," or just want to screw with your friends and have it say "iOS 5," changing version numbers is fast and fun.
Normally on the stock ROM, when you go to Settings > About phone > Software information, things looks pretty boring. You might see the word "Shooter" or "Supersonic" with some numbers and periods after it. If you're rooted, your ROM dev has most likely changed this to the name of the ROM.
And now you can change it too.
To get started, you will need several items:
•Rooted HTC EVO (I'll be doing this with a 4G, but a 3D should work just fine)
•Root Explorer ($3.99) or other root file manager app
•What you want your new version numbers to be
This is really easy and only takes a few steps. So, let's get going!

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
The first step to any modification is creating a Nandroid backup. Once this is complete, we can start the process, which is demonstrated in the video above and spelled out below.
Open up Root Explorer (or similar app) and go into the system folder. Make sure you hit the Mount R/W button in the upper right hand corner of the app and locate the build.prop.
Long press the build.prop file and then hit Open in Text Editor.
We want to edit one or two lines (you choose which files you want to edit):
1.ro.build.description edits the Build number
2.ro.product.version edits the Software number
I will change mine to say Good and EVO and Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.0.1), respectively.
When you are done editing the build.prop file, hit MENU and then Save changes.
Now, just reboot your HTC EVO (a hot restart is not enough).
Voila! You have a custom version number!
If you ever want to go back to stock, Root Explorer automatically adds a build.prop.bak (backup of your original file) that just needs to be renamed.
But, who would want to do that? I've added a new thread in the forums, so let's see what crazy version numbers you guys can come up with!

Here's a direct link to the market:

Installed the update. Still not working, only now it is worse than before.
It still wouldn't allow me to switch apps, it still didn't launch on phone boot up, but now the update prevented me from being able to install apps from the Amazon App Store. I'd hit the install button after the app had downloaded, but it wouldn't register the button press. I could hit the cancel button though just fine. Play Market apps installed just fine. As soon as I Force Stop Fast5, I cold install apps from Amazon just fine.
Very weird. It works perfectly on my device (SGS2) and my friends devices and all emulator devices (2.1+) and i do not get other complains... what's going on?
Have you installed custom rom or something? Do you see all 5 icons? After pressing nothing happens? Or an error?
I would understand if you'd get some errors, but if it's not booting with the device? There is no way it won't boot at normal device configuration...
Thank you for you cooperation!
Have a look...:
see it in action
I think it's isolated issue but I'll try to fix it for you if you'd like to use this app . Wain for report (if you sent it)
Works fine for me. Absolutely perfect!
its a simple task switcher. didn't see any task "manager" function in app(where we able to kill tasks). or it will be available in the future updates?

Yep it's a switcher. Will change topic name, sorry. But it works fine for you, right?
It works now on ICS too. There should be a new version active on the market within 1 hour (as always). There was one issue. Fixed.
I will test it. Great job
Edit: "error process buy" say my market
Defy > Defy+
Sorry my bad english
Error process buy? Lol... it's free. Did you try do it from the PC? Market kinda buggy thing. Thanks!
I had no problems with installation nor application so does my friends .
Updated version has been released. Should be working fine for everyone, regardless of Android version (2.1 +).
Try it
the update fixed task-clicking on ICS
- could you please add #111111 as an background color option? that's the color used by android for notification backgrounds
- when opening notification area the icons reorder after like 1-2 seconds. I guess that's because the app isn't running in bg permanently but it's still quite annoying, especially when you're just about to hit one of the icons and then it gets replaced with a adifferent one
- is it possible to have more than 5 apps? (yeah yeah, then the name wouldn't make sense anymore, but...) there's so much whitespace between the icons, it'd well fit 7 of them
Sure. No problem. Download an updated version (should appear on the market within one hour) and tell me if you'd like something more. Everyone else too . I'll see what i can do.
As for 7 icons instead of standard 5 on really large screens: could you please send me an email or post me here if you don't mind everyone looking how do it looks on your screen?
Thanks!
thanks for adding ICS color.
for large screen: just turn your phone 90° to widescreen and you can see it for yourself
any idea about the slow updating?
Check out the newest update (v 1.08). Tick a checkbox in preferences, restart an app and see if that fits your needs . As for more than 5 icons - i'll figure it out if you want to
Cheers!
seems good so far. will report back after some more usetime when it's got a bit more to do than show low-memory-apps what does the checkbox do? start a persistant service?
could you please close the notification bar when selecting an app? always makes me think the click wasn't registered.
No, it just shortens update time . Don't worry if it works right . As for notification: will put an option to do so shortly.
Cheers!
This app blocks the 3rd Party App Install on my device (Motorola Defy). You can still press the cancel button, but the install button has no function.
Tested it on a custom CM7 Version and on a Official CM7 Version(with fullwipe).

Simple Torch
This is a very simple app that just let's you turn your phone's flashlight on and off, so you can use it as a torch in the dark.
This app will not:
Share your grandma's birthday on Twitter
Claim to be a flashlight, but is just a white screen
Request every available permission
This app will do:
Load up super fast
Be a simple flashlight
Need only a single permission to access the flash
It does not look very fancy, because that would make it slower.
I made this app after i only found apps that wanted permission to read my mails, sms or similar - or needed years to load.
This is also my first app ever :good:
Screenshot:
On startup you should see this and the flash should turn on as well.
The app should also be able to run in the background. Use the back button to shut the app down.
I wanted to put this on the google play store - but they want $25 and my credit card info... meh.
Source:
GitHub: source code
Download:
See attachment.
Should i mention that you should not install this if you don't have a back camera or flash?
Tested on Samsung Galaxy S Advance; Android 2.3.6
Feedback more than welcome!
I have test it and it does wat you say.
Starts fast.
Chance something on the ui because the looks can be better.
I'm stil gonna use this app,so thnx and looking forwards to the updates.

Update:
After beeing very busy with other stuff, I uploaded the source code to github.
I edited the Thread, feel free to take a look
Thanks, this works great!
I've been using other app's for this, but they al took too long to boot up, and sometimes just shut down because i'd be opening ads …
Again, a nice interface would be nice, but not at the cost of boot time.
Thanks for your reply.
I thought about different things to make it look nicer but could not really think of anything that would work at the same speed.
e.g. a background image would still take time to load so that is out of question.
Tell me if you have any simple ideas to make it look better

Well, i thought about one thing …
When using the app in a dark environment, the white background can be blinding a bit, making it harder to see the actual light coming from the led.
Using a black background would give it more contrast.
Useful stuff.
P.S. Thanks for code)

I just found this and wanted to say thanks. I've tried a bunch of flashlight apps on my android, most were full of junk and/or didn't work.
This app works fine, doesn't do any BS in the background and has a small memory footprint - as an app like this should. Good job!
A black background and a bigger button would be better. I'll see if the code is easy to change.
EDIT: changing "Theme.Light" to "Theme.Black" in styles.xml and the button's width / height parameter in main_window.xml did the trick
could not be more perfect and elegant code
Great app.

perfect in every way.

Keep up the good work, you will go far.
i really like the simplicity of your app, and the idea that you really want to help without taking anything from the user

This way we have no idea what other useful features a ROM may have. What about there is a thing that makes this particular ROM stand out because no other ROM has it, shouldn't we consider this? Otherwise a great idea...
PS: Have you thought about turning this into a website? I have a template that I might be able to restructure to fit the task better but I don't have a server...

Only official for now, but when I update it I'll provably add ports as well.
Nice work indeed! Is the update to Oreo still on the map? I am new in this field and it might help me.
However, I suppose I will need to do some reading to decide on more subjective aspects like smoothness, battery duration, etc.
Thanks anyway!
Very useful, thanks. I was just looking for an up-to-date Rom for a phone that I stopped using a month ago, maybe now I'll be able to use it again.
