Ok so when I dropped my phone the camera lens fell off I dont think theyre put on that well. Anyways I bought an 8 dollar camera housing and heads up it doesn't include the lens cover. I found an Xperia Z1 lens cover listed on Ebay anyone know if this works. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=361130990341&alt=web . Im guessing the camera covers for 35 on Ebay might have the lenses attached but contact the seller before buying and ask.
I tried to get OnePlus to fix they wanted 177 for the tiny lens part. In case anyone wanted to know.

Thats the same part I bought before but I paid 8 bucks I don't think it includes the rear lens
It says on the bottom of that listing
"1 x Camera Frame for Oneplus one won't include lense."

Has anyone else seen this? My camera quality slowly got worse and worse. I went to get my phone replaced under warranty and got hassled around because of the known hairline back that happens around the microphone port so I decided to take the lens off. It takes perfect pics now. I'm very gentle with my phones. It's in perfect condition so I don't even understand how the lens got this way. Bought a new one on ebay for $4 and will replace it myself. Here's what my pics look like.. One is the front camera and the horrible looking one is the rear camera.
When you say camera lens, are you talking about the protective plastic piece? That's not a lens, it's just a piece of protection stuck on like the plastic cover found on your screen when unboxing. The actual camera lens is glass and would be tough to scratch.

No... I understand.... Protective plastic was removed a LONG time ago. My photos appear cloudy as well, and slowly getting worse. if I look at the lens it looks like it's got a sheen over it and no matter what I do I can't rub it off I can't clean it off. What do I want for a buck though I guess.... right? Dollar phone.
I was able to clean the sheen off with some tooth paste, q-tip then some alcohol to shine it up. Works great now, no scratches
My bro's Verizon model doesn't have the coating. Maybe it was a mistake during assembly, didn't get cleaned off at the right time.
So, I got The camera lens on my s6 fixed at a local repair. I made That decison because every charged me like 250 euro(286 dollars) for repair. So, I got it fixed for 50 euro(Huge drop in price, I know). After I got it fixed, my photos turned out to be Blurry. When I broke The camera lens I also noticed That The camera had also got scratched, but I still could got some decent shots, without The cameralens.
I also noticed That The new camera lens got a hq logo in left upper corner. I inmediately thought...this is not an original Samsung part. But my question is: does The scratched camera create Blurry pictures or is because The cameralens isnt a original Samsung part?
I also have some example pictures shot with The new cameralens. I also shot some.with my girlfriends s6.

What is the difference between the scratched "cameralens" and "camera"?
You mean the actual lens is scratched and also the big rounded square protective glass?
Well, in case a not quality replacement part was used, it can have an effect on the overall picture quality.

Out of curiosity, I've been using a flashlight to look into my Huawei's P20 camera just to find out if the camera has OIS ( see this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20/help/main-camera-ois-optical-image-t3794794 )
However, I can see some dust scattered around, and a smudge ( like putting your finger on a lens kind of smudge ) in the middle of the lens. This is unacceptable, given the price tag and the "flagship" status of the phone.
The phone is one month, one month and a half old. I'll contact Huawei and ask for a replacement, since it's kind of rubbish to have an almost new phone opened up and repaired.
You can see the issue in the pictures below:

I'll try to use a magnifier glass when I get back home.
Same/Similar problem
Hey there.
I have same Huawei P20 less than half years old and the rear bottom camera (under the actual glass/lens) dirty, similar like yours on the pictures but different is mine looks like when you have your phone in your pocket for while and get some dirt so not just dots. Can't imagine how is this possible. I cleaning my phone quiet often and the camera got dirty like this. The phone never been dropped or something like that and always kept in chase... I bought mine from carphonewarehouse so I went back and they said they can take it apart and clean it then put it back together under warranty but nothing really else but I don't want a opened up phone...
Did you contact with Huawei? What they said if yes? Or any news/ update since your post?
Thanks.
Same situation here with my P20. Dust started showing at the first 2 weeks of use. Now, after 2 months it's pretty bad. Also there are scratches on my camera glass. I can't believe that they didn't use sapphire glass for the cameras.

It don't solve the problem...

It don't solve the problem... I have a P20 pro for a month already, I got at first the same issue like you but on the front camera, and second, it happened today, a huge black mark on pictures appeared, after check it, it come from the middle rear camera. No water, not dust on this one, but the lens is broken inside...! 600 $ for nothing!

best option to find original used in perfect condition, aftermarket glass isn't as durable as original that comes with phone from factory.
I got it replaced from official service centre for ₹600 or around $9. Got it in one hour.
Dopped my Ultra yesterday which has a case fitted but it fell on a stone which penetrated the 5x zoom glass (pic attached). A bit gutted as I've only had the phone a few weeks.
Just wondering if you think it can be repaired by a local phone repairer?
As this is a China only phone, do you think that they will be able to get the parts needed for a repair?
Thanks in advance
Surprisingly it can still take images using the 5x lens even though it looks like below. I assume there is some loss of clarity as I took this images right after the accident
Smashed my camera too!
As it's the transparent glass back, there is only one facility that can repair it. Luckily I'm in China so I can send it back to Xiaomi. If you are outside China you might be SOL.
That glass broke way to easily!
You can find the camera module here. But not sure about the back glass. You can mail them and ask. Maybe they can help.
https://www.vopmart.com/xiaomi-mi-10-ultra-replacement-parts.html
I found a site called, "cellspare". They have the whole rear glass. However, they're $100. As far as repair goes, the Mi 10 Ultra is no different than a Samsung to replace the rear glass.
Heat it up, make a small gap, and separate the adhesive. Any competent tech should be able to do it. It might even be something you could do on your own.
