i plug my phone in, or set it on the qi, and the screen turns on. which means i have to turn it off . this is so obnoxious. is there a work around?
i flashed a stock rom for lollipop and its been less than stellar. also having a hard time getting it to charge. anybody else update and then feel the need to roll back?

I have no idea if there is a workaround or some way to turn the feature off but I just wanted to say that I find it annoying as well. Especially at night when you're just about to turn off all the lights and then this thing decides to turn on.
Cataclysm rom can disable that

What Rom???
I do not think the phone is suppose to sleep ever. It is always waiting for a phone call. depending on your wireless sleep policy the wireless can go off, but the phone is always on.
Its like: Chuck Norris never sleeps, he waits.
Give it a glass of milk and read it a nice story.

I don't know the details, but the Android OS or the hardware or something goes into "sleep" mode, conserving battery, but the radio stays on awaiting calls or texts.
What ROM are you running? Are you using a custom kernel? That might be the issue.
I have a new phone 2 weeks old and from day 1 I've had horrible battery even with minimal use. usually I can get through a work day and that's it. I work in construction so I have no wifi. I turn off Wifi,NFC,Data,GPS,Bluetooth, and set screen brightness to lowest setting unless i'm using them. But keep in mind I'm rarely using my phone except for breaks which i put it on the charger. Here are some pictures that may help decipher the problem. At first glance I have a "wake lock". I'm stuck at 384MHz. I've had a wakelock on all my roms for some reason. Sometimes its the media app sometimes its android system...Currently I'm on Barebones CM10 but I've had most of this forums roms\kernels on my phone after a full wipe and even after some odin stock. I'm kinda lost as my sister who got the phone a day after me has great battery life and my friends say they can get up to 2 days if they aren't using it. i don't believe the 2 days comment, but still his battery life isn't as bad. I'm not crazy right? Also, I'm not sure why all the time running aren't the same

Hello,
I've been using an OPO for about a week now, and I really love that phone, everything is great besides the one "slight" problem.
I have a problem with my capacitive lights not turning off ever. (Not even when the phone is off!) I'll post a picture (a bad one) but I hope you can see what I mean:

I don't know why is so hard to take a picture to show that the buttons are glowing .
The best way to describe it would be, that it looks like, like some of the shoelaces that are glowing in the dark (or something that looks like it's radioactive and glows )
But yea, they are glowing much more than you can see on that picture and no matter if the phone is on or off. I just cant get it black!
I am using onscreen buttons but I've tried to use capacitive buttons and turn brightness and illumination off. (It doesn't work).
But I can however turn it up. It's not a major problem, but It gets really annoying especially at night.
If someone has any suggestions what to do, I'll be gladly to try it.
Thanks.
Good day,
Last week I pulled my G2 out nearing the end of work to check the time, only to be greeted by a blue screen.
My G2 is rooted, 4.4.2, with no custom rom installed, and xposed installer.
I have not added nor updated any modules in over 3 weeks, nor have I installed any new root applications.
The power button does not work. Holding it only results in a quick blink of the screen from blue to black for a millisecond, with the screen then returning to blue again.
I have attempted to drain the battery by leaving it uncharged, and on finally doing so, in under a second of plugging in the charger, it returns promptly to the blue screen again.
My computer does not recognize my phone when I connect it. I do not know what to do.
There was a similar thread discussing my problem;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2788712
But I do not understand how the user managed to power off his/her phone, even after they said that the power button only resulted in a blinking of the screen.

Hello,
Since a few days my Huawei G6 doesn't want to charge anymore. He didn't fell or got wet or something, just from one day to another..
When I plug it in, it starts charging for 1 minute and next thing I get a screen like the one in the attachement.
To get rid of that screen I have to turn the phone on and off. I tried resetting the Phone, but this doesn't help. Now my battery is empty..
Can anybody help me?

Try charging the phone when turned off (stock recovery only) or booted into a recovery that supports charging.
Maybe try using another usb cable or charger (like a pc, instead of AC adapter)
