I'm currently using Calkulin's Oneplus one v.2.1 (based on 44S) with stock kernel.
The ROM was flashed after a clean wipe of the previous ROM (stock 44S)
Whenever I receive an incoming call the phone just rings once, but continues to vibrate.
I already tried to change the ringtone, to cycle trough mute/vibration/normal modes, to use a ringtone on the /sdcard, to enable/disable the profiles, but nothing has changed: the phone just plays a single ring and nothing more.
The only ringtones that play on loop correctly are the ones that come within a theme pack (I tried with holo and ideal Lollipop packs and they play correctly).
Can someone please help me? It's a very annoying issue...

Everything was fine until I realized I cant change my custom ringtone anymore. Whatever ringtone I set the custom one would ring even though it showed the other one is selected. So I deleted the ringtone and then was able to change it.
However only after a little while the phone just stopped ringing, the default tone seems to be silent and whatever I put it wont change. I put back my custom ringtone, rebooted, then deleted all the custom ringtones again and yet I am unable to get my phone to ring.
I have tried setting a ringtone through playerpro music player as well but to no avail.
The notification sound comes as normal. I am running stock unrooted 4.0.4. What should I do?
Figured out the problem. There were some specific contacts that did not have a ringtone assigned to them and my own second phone was one of them from which I was doing the testing. I was using a profile scheduler app previously and in that I had put some of the contacts on the whitelist to allow them to call me even on silent mode. So it was the app which was controlling those contacts and even after uninstalling it the settings hadnt defaulted.
I have searched through the Paranoid Android thread and have found nothing. My incoming call ringtone has suddenly stopped ringing. It is not on silent and vibration still works. The calls come through just no ring. i wiped cache/delvik and fixed permissions and nothing. I haven't wiped data and reflashed yet. I should also add that all the other ringtones work fine (notifications, alarms, etc..) Anyone else any ideas?
Thanks all in advance
EDIT: I just realized I have Gmail set up to silent and it still uses the default notification ringtone anyways.
EDIT 2: I flashed the newer version and it seems to work correctly so far. Not sure how to delete post
So the problem goes after you reflashed it.
p500 running stock everything every time someone calls me my phone ringtone plays for a few seconds then just ends the call automatically then shows missed call from insertnamehere and its really annoying that my ringtone keeps cutting short it literally only plays for a few seconds five seconds at most tried changing ringtone didn't work please help thanks
Use stock ringtones, not custom ones. If you are using an mp3 file as a ringtone then it will not loop, to make your ringtone loop here is a good tutorial:

Thing is I'm running complete stock everything rom and kernel and even using STOCK RINGTONES, it plays for literally 5 seconds then ends the call automatically before of course it was not like this, as this ISN'T normal in any phone, yes I have tried rebooting and no I will not resort to deleting any data for factory resetting or rooting or flashing as this is my mothers phone
Searched here and on google and found nothing helpful to my particular problem. I am currently on a TeamEOS 4.4.4 ROM (7-11-14 nightly) and also had this problem on Cyanogen 10.2.1. I have my default ringtone set to silent because I work nights and get a lot of calls but there are very few people who I want to be able to wake me up, those people all have a ringtone set in the contacts section. None of them ring more than once. It's once, then silence, it doesn't go to voicemail after that - the rings on the caller's end are normal, and the phone continues to act like it is ringing with the little animation and it vibrates, it just doesn't make a noise. With the default ringtone set to a ring it rings as it should. What is the deal with this? Note: They aren't custom ringtones, they're stock with this ROM, custom ringtones that functioned as they should before I rooted function incorrectly now, so it is not the files themselves. Fresh install/reset does not help.
Are you having this issue on sense? Also, double check volume controls. They aren't consolidated so maybe the ringer specific control is off

It's with sense or whatever manages notifications in the ROM, I haven't used an addon app. I checked and it's certainly not the volume controls.
Well then try an RUU. I've never heard of anything like this
Ages later and with a newer ROM and it still does this. Nobody else has this problem?
I just updated my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow stock via Odin (including a full wipe) and then I took the Sprint OTA to G900PVPU3CPE1. I am running with full encryption and have Chainfire's Systemless SuperSU Pro 2.74 installed. My /system partition is mounted with the default read only and my recovery is stock.
I copied my custom notifications, alarms and ringtones back over to the phone and they seem to be working fine with one notable exception. Google Hangouts keeps playing the application default message notification tone despite being set to my preferred custom tone. Hangouts will play the sample tone when I select the custom notification, but when a message arrives it plays the default stock tone instead. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong?
Facebook Messenger also appears to be having problems playing the correct sound. It shows the default system notification sound, which has been set to a custom MP3, but plays the application builtin default instead. It also shows none of my custom notification sounds on the selection list.
