I have searched through the Paranoid Android thread and have found nothing. My incoming call ringtone has suddenly stopped ringing. It is not on silent and vibration still works. The calls come through just no ring. i wiped cache/delvik and fixed permissions and nothing. I haven't wiped data and reflashed yet. I should also add that all the other ringtones work fine (notifications, alarms, etc..) Anyone else any ideas?

EDIT: I just realized I have Gmail set up to silent and it still uses the default notification ringtone anyways.
EDIT 2: I flashed the newer version and it seems to work correctly so far. Not sure how to delete post

Everything was fine until I realized I cant change my custom ringtone anymore. Whatever ringtone I set the custom one would ring even though it showed the other one is selected. So I deleted the ringtone and then was able to change it.
However only after a little while the phone just stopped ringing, the default tone seems to be silent and whatever I put it wont change. I put back my custom ringtone, rebooted, then deleted all the custom ringtones again and yet I am unable to get my phone to ring.
I have tried setting a ringtone through playerpro music player as well but to no avail.
The notification sound comes as normal. I am running stock unrooted 4.0.4. What should I do?
Figured out the problem. There were some specific contacts that did not have a ringtone assigned to them and my own second phone was one of them from which I was doing the testing. I was using a profile scheduler app previously and in that I had put some of the contacts on the whitelist to allow them to call me even on silent mode. So it was the app which was controlling those contacts and even after uninstalling it the settings hadnt defaulted.
Hello. Today my notification sound stopped working. My ringtone plays fine, but when I receive a message for example, there's no "Ting", the phone just vibrates. I'm using Cataclysm rom and franco's r13 kernel, and I've also flashed Drummerjed's volume mod. I don't know exactly when I lost notification sound since my phone stays on Silent/Vibrate for the major part of the day...
When I go into Settings > Sound > Default notification sound and select a tone, it doesn't play (if I go into Phone ringtone everything plays fine)
Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!

Flashed purity rom after a clean wipe (dalvik with cache as well) with Gapps 3/16 and after using the hangouts for sms, I can't seem to get vibration to work on silent.
I checked the sms and the account setting under hangouts and have vibration checked on both and can't see anything about vibration in other settings I can use other sms apps like handcent which will vibrate on silent but just not hangouts. I've also made sure that it's on silent and not on absolute silent on the lowest volume setting.
Anyone having similar issues?

Anyone with a fix yet? Flashed the most recent purity and still does not vibrate on silent/vibration. It does vibrate when there is volume on the notification, just not on silent/vibration mode.
Hey can anyone successfully change there Twitter Ringtone to anything else?
I change my ringtone in Twitter>Settings>@youraccount>Mobile Notifications>Ringtone
And when i go back in it reverts back to Defaul Notification Sound.. immediately
Never had this problem on my previous devices..
I have tried Reboots, Clearing Data, Reinstalling
Twitter ring tone doesn't even work for me no matter which one I choose, only the vibration does

Some time ago I bought a Mi Note 10 and I'm happy with this phone overall. Recently, by the way, I noticed a problem: sometimes the phone put all ring and notifications sound at zero, without any interaction by the user. So I miss calls and messages. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Can anyone suggest me a solution? Thanks in advance!

Incoming call sound
Hello. I have a problem with my Xiaomi mi note 10. When i have incoming calls the phone just vibrating, but does not have any sound. When i getting sms, messenger calls, notifications everything ok. I tried to put music on every number, tried to make SIM sound but nothing works. I dont hear when someone calls to me. Is it problem with my phone or just settings?
I had the same. Despite everything correctly allowed and set there was no sound for incoming SMS. However I had downloaded a different messaging app from PlayStore. When In reverted to the stock app, the sound worked. I don't think Xiaomi likes other apps although I didn't have the problem on my other Xiaomi phone. Look for setting to allow other apps or revert to stock app meanwhile. UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the new messaging app and the notification sound worked.
