hi there i'm having some problems with my asus..
i got rooted asus tf300t, but when i trying to use a feature where you have to get into the bootloader, when i press buttons,,POWER+ VOLUME DOWN..and when i go to the section where it says RCK, and than i press VOLUME UP,,than i wait like 5 seconds or less than that, i get the picture of android loading,but than when that gets done i get droid laying down with a sign of triangle and ! that sign,,so i want to know what i was doing wrong that cant let me to use a other features like installing zip from sd card,and others features.i got some picture taken from that system as you can see what problem i'm talking..

What is it you're trying to do? AFAIK you're on official bootloader. This won't do anything more than flash an official ROM. If you have this ROM on your sdcard, it'll locate it automatically and starts flashing it. If you want to flash other custom roms, you need to install custom recoveries like CWM ot TWRP. Make sure you follow the instructions and pay particular attention to what official ROM you're on (Hint: search forum for pertinent threads). From where I'm sitting, the first thumb is not that clear, but I'd guess you're on 4.2 since it doesn't have the fastboot USB icon. Mistakes can brick your tab.

i was trying to install cyanogenmod 10 on my system, but i folllowed instructions about getting into a bootloader,and to wipe it off data and cache,i did that but that after that is says that i have to install from sd card. i cant find that selections, i got cyanogenmod on my sd card, but how do i install that cym on my tablet,and yes i'm on the version android 4.2.1.....

Check this thread out. You'd need to install a custom recovery first (I always rely on TWRP for this tab) using ADB. Then you can flash your favorite CM10 with it. Post your questions if you have difficulties following the instructions. Have fun.

in this tutorials does not shows how to install a cyanogenmod 10,,it only shows how to update, for update i have done that, and for rooting its all done, but i dont see nowhere about installing cym10...

You gotta have custom recoveries to flash CM10. Since you're on 4.2.1, you want to follow instructions here to downgrade to 104220 official. Once there, install a custom recovery (TWRP 2.5.0.0), then flash CM10 in accordance with this thread. If you prefer CM 10.1, search in development section. There are at least 2 or 3 threads.

2. Move it to your sd card
3. Go to cwm recovery
4. Install zip from sd card
5.Wipe data
6. Wipe cache
7. Wipe dalvik cache
8. Reboot

Well no guides seen.... Just created a working folder with kitchen & copied the system folder to some other directory.. Added meta Inf folder and boot.img and made a zip of them
Making the meta-inf was the toughest part, I had to refer many roms of different devices but if you have any working meta-inf folder you can copy and use that directly

Well I'm not a developer nor a programmer, but because of the tools and tutorials on this forum, I manage to learn a bit, how to flash roms, custom recovery, nandroid backup and lot of android thing...those are done by reading, sending PM's, and asking even sometimes ignored
Also learned basics how to port rom, so now I want to share my little achievement on porting rom...but before you try to flash my rom, be sure that you followed all instructions, meet the requirements, and knowledge on what you are doing!!! and accepting all the risk of modifying rom, as this will void your warranty, or may cause your device to an expensive paper weight:fingers-crossed:

2. Boot into "recovery mode".
Completely turn of your phone. Press and hold VOL UP + POWER BUTTON and wait for the boot logo before releasing the keys.

3. Perform complete wipe...while in recovery mode, do the following (navigate by pressing vol up and down button, and power button to execute.)
Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data.
Wipe Cache Partition -> wipe cache.

4. Return to recovery main menu and do the following again.
Install ZIP from sdcard
Choose ZIP from sdcard ---> Select your ROM

The ROM on Samsung Galaxy S4 UI its ok.
The Problem is Cannot Connect On Data Connection/WiFi/Hotspot. Tried it on but it's not working.
And Tried Xperia Mod Has Been Stuck On Logo.
I Can Restore On Stock Original ROM.
Please Fix The Two Roms.

Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone reboot once inbetween so dont worry.
I didnt got much time to play around so please let me know any bugs/issues/Suggestions.

Been using this for 2 days now...still searching for bugs.
Smooth as butter....fast as it is supposed to be....everyhing works....

My experience with this ROM.
I am thankful to Dr. Avinash for all he has been doing for this awsome phone.
I was itching to get Kitkat ROM on my phone since the google camera refused to install saying that this is an older version of android, which was android 4.2.
The installation was done using CWM recovery with the ROM on my sd card root directory. With fingers crossed I waited for the installation to finish and it was there after a wait of about five minutes.
No welcome screen just plain simple home screen with occasional popup tip on how to handle the options on the home screen.
As I was afraid of my IMEI getting corrupted so it was. But i already had taken a backup making a flashable file of the same. (Thanks to Dr. Avinash for his guidance to use this link. I flashed the file I had earlier made and the IMEI was restored.
The FM radio was working, the camera showed slightly lower resolution than 13 MP of my camera, the volume was little louder (better), however I was not happy as the update.zip I had created using app2zip for restoring my apps in a snap did not work. The gravitybox did not work properly inspite of all the troubleshooting I could find on the web.
Thus I restored my ROM xtreme V1 by Avinsh. and will wait till i have patience and time to reinstall the this ROM.
I think it should work and it was just the failure to restore my apps that I removed it and restored to my earlier ROM
Again thanks for all the effort, Dr. Avinash.
Again tried it, the zipme app backed up all my apps withot the data and I was able to flash the created update file to restore all my apps. Also could install xposed and gravity box successfully. Everything works as expected. Great ROM. No bug yet after 12 hours of installation and severe testing.

Instructions to flash via Recovery:
1. Download ROM & copy on sdcard
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Select wipe data/factory reset, Yes - Wipe all user data
5. Select install zip, choose zip from sdcard and Flash (Yes - Install)
6. Reboot
If recovery asks u to disable recovery flash select NO. if u select yes init support is gone.

STEPS TO FOLLOW AFTER FIRST BOOT​
This ROM is made for HD device and our device is FHD so when u first boot the rom it looks like this
DONT PANIC its normal
just run the app "resolution changer"
grant superuser permission
press ok 3 times
select width -1080
select height -1920
select DPI - 480
press enable
press ok 3 time
reboot.
Everything will be normal.

My phone had kk out of the box.
Currently on android l rom. Normally i'm facing cam problem if flash jb roms.
Flashed this to chk if uboot solves the prob.
JB user can straightaway flash...
Just flashed the rom... as per instructions... boot animation :good:
First thing....tried to change the resolution but there was no default keyboard...
installed googt hindi input as the apk file was there in my apk backups...
changed resolution... :good:
but still some thing wired about placement of app icons in app drawer..
couldn't find camera too...:crying:
sd card content is not visible

sd card photos showed in gallery after unmount & mout of sd card...:good:

BTW, in my test drive of the jb version, i can confirm that I did not face the issues that @chinasa mentioned.
