Bump is dead!!?? - AT&T LG G3

I heard from a member on here that bump is dead. Went to the site and ****.
See for yourselfs.
http://apps.codefi.re/bump/
"
Bump is gone.
Why? Blame people like Cybojenix and Enderblue.
Ask them why it's gone. Stealing our hard work and 'open sourcing it' does not count as development. But I guess since the cat is out of the bag, you might as well go find it yourself.
To everyone who doesn't deserve this treatment from us - I'm really sorry. I know this will inconvenience many of you who weren't doing anything malicious. Unfortunately some bad apples can spoil a whole bunch.
Bump may return one day, but it will not be open sourced or free. I (IOMonster, thecubed on XDA) am done with public development. To everyone who's donated or supported us, I know who you are and appreciate all of your kind words and donations. You are the people I will continue to support in private. Thanks for your support. We wouldn't be able to do anything without you guys.
Bye guys! - IOMonster"

Development will move on and it best to not cause more drama by opening threads about it. Please and thank you
2SHAYNEZ

Let's not start threads about this topic. If the other party was in the wrong, I'm sure the mods will shut him down on xda. Complaining/making threads about it will not help or change anything.

Lol nerds be jealous because they are to stupid to develop it.
Why does it seem like every device eventually has drama over stolen code. Lol. One you can't even mention here.

Community issues: Campaign for a fresh start

Hi guys,
You probably already know me from my other threads, mostly the support thread. If not, I would like to give a brief introduction: in june, I received an upgrade from at&t and decided to purchase the infuse 4g my first android phone.
I was thrilled with its performance, and the community started off strong. ROM's were coming out surprisingly fast, actually too fast for me to figure out which one I liked best.
I began to see that the developers threads were getting cluttered up with silly, often repeated questions, so I created a support thread to help lessen the load for the devs. I know it wasn't a perfect solution, but I helped build a small team of people who have been incredibly helpful so far, who I am beyond impressed with.
Now comes the bad part. Even my support thread, originally designed to avoid clutter, has become a landfill of lazy people who don't look for the answer to their question which has been asked and answered 30 times already.
All the devs have been subjected to so much bs that they are afraid to even release their work. Everyone flames everyone like crazy, but none of you guys can help the community. I am disgusted by most of your behaviors, and hope that you see how childish your arguments are.
Now, for my point: this community is still young, and we have accomplished so much already. We have the chance to have one of the strongest development teams out there, and a kick-ass community, in which we look out for each other's best interest.
I would like to propose a way to get things started again: we need a campaign to delete clutter/flame.
Neo works hard, but we need to help him out. Everyone, I urge you to look through your posts, find bad ones, and mark them in some way to be deleted. This is in order to resuscitate this potentially unbeatable community.
Thank you all, and I hope you understand my intentions

constructive crticism welscome
Moderator's(Neo) intervention was required as gtg's thread was going out of control.
as after his intervention members have started behaving themselves and Neo has removed/locked unnecessary threads this forum is at peace.
let the dead bury the dead and do not remind people again of what happened.
Just post relevant stuff and that is sufficient for everybody.
P.S.
if issues are not resolved then it never will be as no one will accept blame and any such thread will eventually result in blame game.
right now see that people are just paying attention to information, now calling them for campaign is also a distraction.

Hey, thanks for sharing your opinion with me in a respectful manner. However, I feel that the issue is not yet resolved, and the general forum is definitely the appropriate place to post it. The development is virtually at a standstill and I am not talking about gtg, but the other devs and would be devs who are now discouraged. I find that although your response was polite, it was completely inappropriate, especially considering what my original post stated. If you have an issue with my posts please message in private as opposed to calling me out/ racking up your post count.

I'm glad you guys are willing to help out in getting this show on the road. This can only be done by helpful members, especially the ones who read the rules and abide by them.
I think the main issue at hand is that people tend to speak their mind too often, in situations where a moderator should intervene. The best course of action is to report a post or PM a mod (for the Infuse, that's me ) and let them know what's going on.
I'm not on the board 24/7, so I too can miss stuff. But there are ALWAYS other mods who look after the Infuse forums when I can't, so reporting is the BEST thing you can do.
About "rebooting" the community: People are already getting annoyed by the lazy, demanding types, who don't use the search and just post another question which has been asked a million times before. Well, at least if it's in the Q&A forum, it's controlled. So that's our main focus for now: get people to ask their questions there, instead of the development or general forums.
This thread can stay open, as long as it's constructive criticism. All ideas are welcome, as long as it helps us out, right?

I wasn't aware that there was a Q&A forum until you mentioned it. I'm using the xda app and have the SAMSUNG Infuse 4g as my favorite, but within that category, the Q&A forum isn't listed. I clicked onto the forum tab and scrolled till I found the Q&A forum. Yeah people can search for it, but I wasn't even aware that forum existed. I just suggest adding the forum into the Infuse 4g category. I think there will be less questions asked in the wrong section if it was listed.

I think alot of people like myself are new android users. I knew nothing 3 months ago about Android then I got the infuse my first smartphone which seems like its a lot of peoples first android. So I admit I posted questions then went and found the answer when I got no replies. I think people just need to understand that this is very fresh for a lot of people. It was ridiculous on gtg's post but on the other hand people got so angry at othrs that knew very little.

And I think another reason why we see a lot of similar topics being posted especially regarding support is because new users (like myself) feel we need support about our specific situation, even tho we may have already read a similar thrend. Its happened to me were I posted help and either ill get a smart reply ie "its been posted 10 times already" or they may reply with a link. The link will be exactly what I've already read but, the thrend doesn't 100% pertain to my situation so I'm afraid I may mess up even more if I follow those steps (its actually already happened,my first brick) This is why we may see a lot of repeat thrends. I usually will encourage my support giver to pm me but I hardly receive any.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
Well, xda-developers is for... DEVELOPERS. Although most people on xda are in it for the custom roms and leeching of apps.
I agree there should be some kind of a "noob sandbox" where new users can ask their questions and get answers from more seasoned users/devs. But how do you guys propose we do that?

Please Do Not Read

Ok I'm gonna go ahead and make this thread because I know that I'm not the only on that this is pissing off.
1. If you are new to the sgs4g forum then read the rules ( because this obviously isn't happening)
2. "I'm a newbie" or "sorry I'm a noob" is not an excuse
3. Use search, we here at the sgs4g are not cha cha. We are not here to search for you. If you legitimately search and can't find anything, then ask
4. If you post a question or topic in one thread don't post it in another just because you aren't getting the responses you think that you should.
5. Do not pester our devs about an up and coming ROM they are working on, they are doing there best and will release it when done. some of us have personal lives and families, please respect that.
6. Do not post question inquiring about anything illegal or asking someone how do do something illegal, we will not help you.
7. Haven't seen it in a while but, DO NOT ask anyone for their EFS folder. This folder holds very sensitive information to the phone and the phone owner. If someone was to give you this folder and you have their imei then the person helping you get it from runs the risk of being black listed by their service provider, they also run the risk of "earning" a class c felony (if im not mistaken, i do know it is a felony though) if the person asking stole the phone and is wanting to change imei.
Please enjoy yourself here and enjoy the great roms and mods our devs provide.
Sorry if someone doesn't like the fact that I posted this but obviously nobody reads the rule thread, and some members are becoming a problem because of that .

Why is this site so rude....

I can't stand to read this site these days. Everytime there's a post some self important ass has to jump and tell the person posting just how stupid they are for making the post. If you xda experts don't want to the rest if us here then lock it down. It would be no great loss. There's nothing here that can't be found in 100 other places.
For some reason this site seems to encourage rude moderators that love to trash people especially if someone failed to find existing threads using the terrible search tools provided. Maybe xda just can't carry the weight created by its success. One thing is sure and that is if it doesn't change a lot of people with go elsewhere....

Just take it with a grain of salt man...there are douches everywhere but I mean without the developers we wouldn't we able to accomplish much, if anything. And most of the other forums I've seen directly get their info or sources from XDA. Its ok, hug time?
Thanks for the hug... It's not about me I can hold my own and enjoy giving it back. What bothers me is when someone clearly struggling to post and is asking for hlep (And English may not even be their language) then one of these dicks trashes them. I just looked at one where a guy asked how to find a specific item, he got an answer that said check the xxxxx forum and we are not your slave so don't expect us to do it for you. Who talks like that and why aren't they stomped on for acting that way. He gave an answer then added the boot. I see that everywhere here.
The people who respond here do it for their own reasons. It's nice when people help and I have found some helpful threads. Still when I see stuff like the one above I start to think there are people here who get off on acting that way. Being a developer doesn't mean doing sick stuff is OK.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
Yeah I agree but I mean some people are gonna be douches regardless of the question asked. I'm also inclined to think there are more decent people on XDA that like helping people as opposed to bashing them so even if the douche answers first, doesnt mean he represents XDA...
and this is why people lurk...
...or ... why i have lurked for so long
but now i just dont care...
so.... here goes nothing
There should be a Douche button, just like a Thanks button.

While I don't agree with people being rude please understand that this is a developers site. Not a tech support site, not a rom flashing site, and not a cool place to be site. It was made by developers for developers. And sometimes people can get rude. That is what the report button is for.
I like this site, and the way I see it,
They are sick of repeat posts, it's like people aren't bothering even looking anymore for what they need, they just post... As I have made that mistake a few times... That said i my self use the Site for my personal use or for the work I do but I ALWAYS give credit where it counts and is a great site for this Canadian to learn the ways of the DROID...
Also i mean maybe some devs like to poke fun, maybe they are tired of people taking time away from thier great works... Who knows, I talk to, a few decent people on here and have learnt alot and intended on learning more when my desktop is back up and running...

i agree, xda really needs a douchee button. im also new here, but i been using the forums for a while, just rencently registered and i have gotten all the info i need, so basicly yes, the douches are somewhat right, but they should just say it a little more politely
I just saying that there is no excuse for treating posters badly. I've been a registered user for more than a year but I find myself coming here less and less because I can find as good or better info on other sites and most don't have the xda attitude.
I want to be clear that most people don't act this way and that plenty of nice helpful people respond here every day. The point I'm making is that there are a few that need to be cleaned up. I hadn't thought of the report button but in the future I will use it freely. Maybe that will get the attention of the powers that be.
It would be interesting to start a thread on the xda **** of the day. People could cut and paste insulting behavior into the thread including the name of the poster. Every day/week members could vote. I bet it would dry up fast....

Really, Really???
Makes me laugh when people chant that mantra of "this is a developers site. Not a tech support site, not a rom flashing site......". maybe when the site was made 5,6 years ago it was a developers site. But things grow and evolve as is in the human nature. XDA has evolved into more than just a Dev site, its a site for development, education and learning.
It amuses me when people try to alienate the devs from the users. Don't give excuses for rude or egotistical people, if someone is in doubt, use your knowledge to help him or shut up. afterall, the great devs of today all learnt from scratch. Nobody was born with code in their brain from the womb (except chuck norris ). Because the way this site is going its going to drive users away from its fold.
And when you succeed in alienating the noobs, and xda becomes a dev-only site, who will test the bugs in the developers' software? how will developed apps get publicity? I know some devs who've made alot of money from donations for their software; heck, this site's servers are supported by donations from users.
XDA is a leader in development and mobile collaboration and we've seen the amount of clout and influence XDA has, the mobile companies HTC,Samsung, motorola all hear the voice of XDA (as evidenced by htc's bootloader unlocking, htc dev, making motorola answer for locking bootloaders) but dont think that XDA will have such influence if all of the over 4 million users are gone and like 1000 developers ( if they are even that many) remain.
Also I'm not excusing some very stupid people who ask the wrong questions, and don't follow rules.for example, I only registered here last year but I've followed this site for 3 years. If I had a problem, I also come here to search and I always got my answer. I only had to register when I got the lenovo thinkpad, which didn't have any active development forum so I could post a question. So I guess I'm one of those who likes to search before posting.
The summary of everything I just said is help people who are truly in need of it, (not the silly ones) and XDA isn't a dev only site.

Well I disagree on this one point, if they don't take the time to try and look it up and find it on their own it does give you the right to be a little rude, because that's pretty rude of them, expecting you to take time out of your day to give them an answer when they don't take any of their own time to even try..but, of course, I'm not in favor of going crazy on them..just enough let them know that's unacceptable
I don't like rude people too, and I met quite a few here...
I do am agree thus, that newcomers should look VERY well into the proper thread and all over XDA site.
I like to help when I can and if I can, but I have seen more and more often people asking simple questions like:
"someone can show me some guide?" or " does an xperia thread exist?"
Well don't need help really for this question, is just enough to search..
I guess developers or user generally can get tired of this.
However I am agree that some users normally answer by jokes or in a rude way, although people like this could be everywhere..
Sometimes you have to be rude to let people know they should google first before they post a question

I think most users dont consider themselves entitled or expect any helpful posts in regards to their questions, I'm sure they're just hoping someone can point them into the right direction. I've searched and gathered everything I needed to know myself but its not like I ever expected another user to help me. I figure if users want to help other users, awesome, but don't give attitude when doing so.

I understand but to a point, there's no need to curse at someone and be rude just because he asked a question even if its been asked before a 1000 times, if you don't like the question he asked then don't answer it, I see that a lot on here, noob ask a question then gets an answer "why do you ask so many questions?" I thought to myself why does it matter to you its a q&a forum, just skip over the post or answer the question with some respect without rude remarks

Getting a forum for a new device.

Ok so as some of you may know development for the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is taking off somewhat and yet XDA is ignoring our requests for a forum in favor of devices that aren't out yet and devices that nobody much has heard of... I am posting this to ask anyone who remembers how long it took the Doubleshot to get its own forum as well as to ask my former community to help US out. (In other words... could y'all hit up the new forum request page and thank our posts/ bump the relay lol? (If this is against xda rules I apologize) or if anyone knows someone who can expedite this situation we'd all appreciate it.
Btw update - anyone wants my DS pm me, flex cable is failed and currently I have disassembled it while grounded and yes I'm tech savvy enough to not fry components. Idk how much to ask but make an offer lol.

Maybe XDA has a personal issue with phones with QWERTY keyboards.
We encountered this issue on my previous qwerty device also and believe me we almost got top 2 on the voting thread for new devices yet till now it still don't have any forum of its own. I already asked and the reason why it didn't get its own forum was not because of the lack of the community but instead the lack of real developers to support the device. To quote what the mod I talked to he said that
"XDA-developers" is a forum made for developers. Having even a thousand active members on a specific device but only have a handful of developers won't make it eligible for its own dedicated forum. As much as we'd like to provide every device it's own forum we also consider the cluttering of the forum itself so we are just narrowing down the devices on which we could get more active development than a forum full of average user questions.
Guys try www.sdx-developers.com its a Samsung hacking site

That's the only thing we can do. I've contacted quite a few mods, and they all told me the same thing. Post in the forum. Sorry, I tried but there's nothing else i can do to expedite the process. it seems that they will only open the forum when they see fit.
@strapped, no offense, but that site seems kinda dead. Just like rootzwiki. Xda will create a thread for you guys eventually. I don't see the point in fragmenting the device across two sites. Keep at it

The scotsman messaged me back in response to a question I asked and his reply was that the decision is made by forum owners and admins over his head based on development potential of the device.
Now that, my friends, seems to be a bit of a debatable point doesn't it lol?
That being said - does anyone remember how long it took the DS to get a dedicated forum?

Now that XDA isn't accommodating, creating a dev section for the device there might just be what that site needs to bring it back to life

Well either quit *****ing about xda not making y'all a thread or try to go to sdx. A lot of guys I have dealt with are from sdx. But lemme guess its a popularity contest? Y'all are a trip wanting more then what's needed, and that's just a place to call home, I'm so glad I decided not to get that device as I see most of this community will be.

1. I'm not *****ing. I don't even have this device
2. It is a popularity contest. Xda has way more devs and exposure than the site you mentioned. Do I want more than what's needed? Of course. Who wouldn't?
3. Everyone buys a device for X reason. Avoiding a device because of the users is your choice. No one cares if you don't get this device
4. You mad bro?
Honestly I thought we were friends, but I guess not... last person I expected to come out like this was you. Unless my English went bad overnight, someone tell me I'm reading this wrong

1. If not *****ing then why not go somewhere that could potentially give a home for that device....on a Samsung hacking site.
2. Popularity? Really, being popular has nothing at all to do with development. The best dev in the world could have this device and with no home, no one would ever know. So wouldn't you rather risk it? I personally post on themikmik sdx and xda.....why more advertisement
4. Is just a personal choice because of what I see in these threads.( device and slider related in general)
5. Mad nah not me, I'm getting the N4 as soon as I save my allowance ( joking )
You got my first morning post and yes I'm tired of sdx getting played. I learned so much from them guys and a few of them brought straight cm code into Sense for a first ever seen mod that everyone uses now. So I don't agree with xda being the holy grail of hackers and only thou can come here for their needs. Xda has really stopped caring for the average user and ONLY CARE ABOUT AD REVENUE and having the devices they feel will get them the most.
So I do wanna say "I'm sorry gtmaster303". Never meant to sound like the shot was at you when it was meant for xda. They need to see and realize their not the only place to come for hacks anymore, so stop treating us like kids and only giving us what XDA wants. If they were really for the user that thread would have been made as soon as something development related could have been posted

Thanks. Although I don't agree with you completely, it's good to know you didn't go rogue on me all of a sudden. If xda wants ad revenue, they would be creating ads for every device out. Although I don't understand why they won't readily create a forum for a device that clearly needs it. I don't agree with their logic. If there's even one dev for a device, a forum should be made. That's like saying "we'll only host the most popular of devices." By that token, popularity should not ensue. And under that jurisdiction, technically the Doubleshot shouldn't exist here either. Our community is quite small, even for a dev community. Most of the daily page hits xda gets from us are the same couple dozen people, some of which login multiple times per day (because they have no life, myself included )
But popularity of the site is still necessary. not that many people know about sdx. When they look for a new phone to buy (devs and modders alike) most will come to xda and poke around to see if the activity is up to their liking. If not, they'll probably search for a new device. Main reason why I haven't switched over to a Captivate Glide or a Droid 4...
Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using Tapatalk 2
I must be weird then as I bought my device because
1. It was the closest thing to a G3 on the market and
2. I was (and still am) angry with and done with HTC after the lack of ICS on the doubleshot.
Oh and 3. My DS died;(
Nonetheless if we decide to move to that other site I'll have to get an android app for it lol.
I'm growing disgruntled with XDA lately but its kinda like a drug for me... and strapped... this device stock is just about equivalent to my ds when it died with regards to ease of use and overall response. I DO miss a trackpad and the home button lags just a bit... but that could be me having an aftermarket launcher with touchwiz frozen but not uninstalled.

Bounty thread?

What happened to the bounty thread? I don't see any moderator warnings. Either way, it's literally had 1000 views in a day so maybe it's drawing more attention. The anticipation is killer!
edit: well now there's a mod message. Bummer. Although I understand and respect the mods decision. So basically we're in the same boat as we were when the thread was open. Once an exploit is discovered it'll, most likely, be reopened and the developer will get their recognition and reward. My bounty donation remains the same and I hope all others will follow suit.
There were multiple warnings throughout the thread. I don't usually post anything but just linger and it always got off topic pretty fast. I can see why it's just inconvenient to do a routine cleanup everyday.
Anyways, I hope it comes back online as I've been trying to gather as much knowledge and start working on it myself, but "trolls" and unnecessary arguments are very unproductive. If you have opinion and has nothing to do with the thread...easy thing to do...keep it to yourself.
Time to get back to research.

What do you think happened to it? Warning after, after warning, after warning, and people refused to adhere to the rules. I'd be surprised if it gets reopened again. Too many chances have been given. The pledges are there, if any devs can crack it, they know what is waiting for them. Personally, I don't think it's going to happen.
Let's start a bounty for anyone who can figure out how to unlock the bounty thread. I pledge a cool $1.00

I think everyone is just frustrated in the bounty thread. It's kind of parodoxical. The devs have to work in secret to get the root out fast. But there's a huge desire to know progress right now.
So when there's no news to talk about, everyone starts bickering with each other and the thread gets shut down every few days.
I think the pledgers and the devs are both shooting for the same goal and the devs are probably getting as frustrated as the pledgers. Hope everyone can chill out so this thing can get done. My 2 cents.

Well said. Mods generally leave a final message which is why I'm confused. I hope it comes back too. I realize that there were many off topic posts but recently they had been better and, if nothing, informative. I am happy to read through interesting discussion even if it isn't completely pertinent to the threads topic. It's the trolls that I mind... and if there had been any new root information I belive it would be apparent by reading the last page or two... but of course, all this is debatable and what I'd really like to see is people who are motivated and encouraging of the fact that the dev who cracks this phone will get a great payout.

I think it's funny that people just simply cannot resist the urge to post something outside the guidelines of the thread. It's not that hard, people! I posted my pledge and then kept my mouth shut because I didn't have anything else to contribute toward a rooting solution. Seems like a pretty simple rule to me.
Pretty sure the troll threatening legal action for not getting the bounty for his "hardware exploit" was the final straw.

Bounty
Yes, shut down for many reasons - namely, the inability to follow the guidelines and keep irrelevant chatter to a minimum. There were repeated warnings, temporary closures, etc. I fully understand and agree with the administrative choice to close it down, especially after regular cleanings and more warnings than I could count (and the scammer... that was odd). I feel like a bit of a failure on the whole deal, but really tried my best to keep things in line (much of it in PM's trying to politely remind folks to keep the posts within the guidelines and relevant)...ultimately, there was only so much I could do.
After speaking with mods, it looks like it could be reopened upon an exploit being found. So, where it will not continue to grow (officially), it could return upon a method being found. I hope and encourage everyone to adhere to their pledges, so that the 18k will still stand (in theory) for any developer still digging for an exploit. Just because the thread is gone, does not mean that our pledges are... and it would stand to benefit us all by keeping this in mind and adhering to our individual promise.
Given the popularity of the thread, most everyone was awesome... courteous, patient, polite, and within the posting guidelines. It is just unfortunate the poor actions of a few, affected the many (in this case). Thanks to everyone who helped and contributed.
I would think taking any RELEVANT root discussions and collaborations to the original status on root/custom recover/bootloader thread. But please, keep on track there!

Yeah, I think he was banned as soon as the mods made it over to the thread. Several reported his first post immediately (including myself), so I am sure he is no longer.
I think he was just trying to scam us. His english reminded me of those scam letters you get from Africa, asking if you want 35million dollars for a paltry transfer fee. Pretty foolish if you ask me. I considered posting a warning "do not paypal this guy anything", but figured we were obviously all smart enough not to do that.
I mean, a 1968 patent for something pretty irrelevant as proof? Comon now. It seemed more of an insult to our intelligence than a clever scam.
It was gonna close sooner or later because ppl dont seem to take those warnings seriously. Im glad they closed it, let the devs do their thing and reopen it if/when an exploit is found.

You are not a failure. You spearheaded a great fundraising effort that brought in nearly 20k. You succeeded.
The failure came in from nearly every other user. Every off topic post resulted in multiple posts flaming that one off topic. The failure came from users who couldn't refrain from posting self righteously. You were failed by this community. If we do get root it will be thanks to the motivation your fundraising offers developers.
Root has come so fast for so long that we all forget it takes work. It is easy to hit the thanks button on a root thread but when it came time to practice patience and respect while waiting for an exploit everyone fell apart. I read numerous posts insulting your effort and have dealt with similar posts on my petition thread. It makes you wonder if XDA is even a community anymore or just a bunch of brats looking to take from the talented, bicker, and whine.
Anyway, thanks for your contribution.

I had to stop checking the thread out as often as I'd liked. It was one of those things where as a kid you'd cover your eyes during a scary movie and leave a crack open so you could just barely see the dead guy. That was me checking in once every day or two. Knowing I'd see something that shouldn't be there and seeing you calmly explaining the rules (again) and calmly explaining all the previous warnings (again) and that if the off topic comments continued, the thread would likely be closed. Anyway, thanks for your effort. It's appreciated. Your attitude through it all is even more appreciated. If only it had rubbed off.

Your right, its not a failure - I dont mean it to seem dramatic... Im just a user, but have never been motivated to start a thread - and therefore new to it. Given noob status in this way, its hard to know if I was doing things right. I put forth effort (especially as it progressed quickly), and took it seriously...though regularly wondering if 'its too much or too little', and with inconsistent feedback (some of which from trolls)... so I appreciate hearing from level-heads very much, and thank you.
Mods are great here, I must say. As long as XDA continues with the standards they set, there will always be success on these forums. Very helpful, responsive, and fair. You, and many others here were also extremely helpful from the beginning (open1your1eyes0), so its definitely been a collective effort.
... well, literally a collective effort
I see no failure by the bounty op whatsoever. @Demiurge7 you helped set the bar for what we value so much, root. If anything I'd hope this has also restored the faith of devs out there. Despite trolls a lack of thanks, there are people willing to recognize the hard work and donate accordingly.
Also, my donation absolutely still stands and I hope all others will as well.
