Add Quick Circle case functionality to custom roms? - AT&T LG G3

Is it possible to add Quick Circle case functionality to custom roms? I tried searching for this but didn't find anyone asking specifically about this.. I'm using the Lollipop CM rom. Thanks in advance!

It would have to be baked into the ROM by the developer

Makes sense. Thanks very much. I really like the quick circle case and have several. But the Lollipop rom is so fast that I'd go without if I had to.

I think you can use that app "Better Cut" to change icons on apps.

[Q] Could anyone implement a mod just to 'Long Press back button to kill app?'

I know there are some ROMs and MODs that incorporate this as a part of a feature but the ROMs/MODs I currently use it for stability don't have this feature and I really miss this coming from CM9...
Could anyone kindly make this feature available as a stand-alone feature...?
I have Nexus S 4.0.4 ROM... Thanks!

Did a quick search and was unable to find any corresponding feature for non-cm ROMs. Just in case you want to try out editing it yourself, or someone with enough knowledge some day spots this thread: you might like to have a look at files at /system/usr/keylayout and /system/usr/keychars, I think they are used for the phone's key setup.

Thanks but I'm not that expert to modify files... haha
Wish someone could come up with this mod
I haven't looked through my ROM but this is a feature in Cyanogenmod 7.2 (Gingerbread 2.3.5) i am running this there is a settings panel you can tell the back button what to do upon long press! Maybe it is possible to extract this setting? Im not sure about that as i have never extracted or attempted to extract settings from any roms! But just an idea i figure
could need it, too !!!

[Q] Revert to stock ICS lock ring?

I'm trying out a ROM that I like but I'd prefer to use the stock ICS lock ring rather than the customized one that comes with the ROM.
Is it possible to do this? I assume I need to replace a file or something, but I don't know which file, nor do I know where to find a file for the stock ICS lock ring.
Thank you.
This should be what your looking for.

Thanks for that. I had actually tried on of those, but I think you need to have HTC Sense installed before making the change. The ROM I'm using is an AOKP ROM.
I didn't get the desired results when I tried one of the replacement lock rings from the thread.

That lockscreen is from Sense and as such isn't available in AOSP based roms. You could try using widgetlocker

O.K., thanks. That's what I had begun to suspect.

[Q] Nexus S ROM with no MODs ?

Hi all,
I'm trying ROMs for my Nexus S and I'm not a big fan of all modifications...
That's why I'm looking for a light ROM with no tweaks or MODs.
Any idea ? I can't find this.
Thanks !
What you want is stock OTA rom right?
I don't know exactly what's the name of what I'm looking for.
Is there rooted OTA ?

Yes, look in the development section. You want a rooted OTA or AOSP ROM, though a most of the AOSP ROMs have a few minor tweaks (optional power toggles in the notification drawer, etc).
I tried some AOSP.
I'll search for a rooted OTA. Thanks.

[Q] Any roms based on official 5.0 have immersive mode/expanded desktop?

Trying to see if there are any custom roms based on the official release yesterday of 5.0 that contain immersive mode or expanded desktop. I tried GMD's immersion app and even paid for PRO, but I didn't like its implementation. Was not exactly the way I am accustom to on 4.4.x custom roms.
Thanks!

It was just released yesterday. No custom ROMs have been made yet. You'll probably have to wait for Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, etc. to come out with something

There are already roms with tweaks, so I thought maybe this would be an easy tweak to add. Thanks.

Eh. The only one I have seen is one with a custom Nav Bar that can't be changed. A lot of features probably wont come until the big developers like the ones I mentioned create something.
