Need Help with older HTC Sensation (Soft Bricked) - HTC Sensation

[SOLVED]
I've been having major issues with this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699401) on my HTC Sensation 4G.
I updated to the latest stable Recovery, 10.0.6 RC2 on my previous WORKING rom.
Did a factory wipe/reset.
Installed the cm-11-20141116-Sultan-pyramid.zip and then pa-gapps-modular-micro-4.4.4-20141110-signed.zip.
Rebooted
It showed the CyanogenMod loading screen.
It allowed me to select Language
Allowed me to select Wifi access
Allowed adding of Google account
It asked about location services and what not
Then it seemed like it was going to start up the home screen, HOWEVER, it said that I should put in a SIM card??? (Did it wipe my good SIM card that I just got today?)
So, once I get to the screen after I choose what type of home screen I want, Google's or Trebuchet, services start crashing left and right. Whether it's in Google's or Trebuchet's home screen...
Plus it's not showing phone network info/reception at all when I manage to get into the Settings>About screen...???
HELP?!
I don't know if this'll help... It has the following info at the bootloader screen:
-Revolutionary- (in pink background)
Pyramid PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.17.1111
RADIO-10.14.9035.02_2
eMMC-boot

The CID is 11111111 (i didn't change this, when i bought this phone it was previously rooted and modded)
I'm on T-Mobile and live in the U.S.A.
I have tried other ROMs, like these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530073 - Stable 4.4.4 Cyanogen11 with 3.0.16 Kernel by Sultan (would install, but at the setup questions it would randomly reboot)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-sensation/development/rom-cyanogenmod11-ivanich-t2911152/page11 - [ROM][Android 4.4.4] CyanogenMod11 by ivanich [3.4Kernel][Up-To-Date][Stable] - Stays stuck at HTC loading screen after reboot...!?
In the morning I'm going to run by the T-Mobile Store to get a new sim card with my info... (wtf did it get wiped????)

if you want to use kitkat roms (or whatever roms except gb) you need to upgrade your firmware to ics
you are still on gingerbread firmware
flash 3.33 universal from here

follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)

Thank you. Yes, that seems to have worked. Hinx helped me in the dev section and I forgot to update that this was resolved. only thing I'm waiting on now is for the green video flashing fix for this rom.

I rooted and rommed my own phone some time back without any problems, thanks to many excellent posts on this site. My boss kept moaning that his sensation kept crashing/hanging/behaving badly - so I told him that I would root and rom his phone, Which I have done. Problem is though there's no BT or WIFI. I have tried several variations on PG58IMG.ZIP but none even offer to carry out the upgrade. The phones CID is VODAP001 and the text from the HBOOT is as follows....
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.27.0000

I cannot seem to change the CID (I tired to superCID it). I'm fairly sure that it's the radio.img that needs to be updated - can anyone help me as to why this isn't happening. What PG58IMG.ZIP should I be using are there any additional locks that Vodafone have put on that I need to remove. The OS seems to work fine except no wifi or bluetooth. The ROM I installed is the AKOP milestone 6. Please help, my boss might sack me! :crying:
You would probably be better getting the phone to have S-OFF first.
You've not stated if the phone has gone through the HTCdev unlock mechanism. Although, I don't know what that achieves in comparison to full S-OFF.
EDIT:
In About Phone -> Software information what does it say r.e.:
Software Number
More -> Baseband version
dev unlocked and s-off. Sorry, I thought that was implied where I said "root and rom his phone, Which I have done"
Android version 4.0.4
baseband version 11.69A350400U_11.23.3504.07_M2
Kernel 3.0.16-gda3fdfc
[email protected]
Build Number IMM76I
mod ver aokp_pyramid_build-40
I've tried several PG%*IMG.zip files that appear to be the correct versions, but all they do is get as far as the Parsing... then returns me to the fastboot screen. Everything on the phone appears to work correctly except radio services (BT & Wifi) and the SD card won't mount on PC on USB mode, but I'm not bothered about that - if the Wifi works I can always network files onto the phone.

Hi,
According to your hboot,it says "S-ON" .
That is why no PG58IMG.zip will work
It seems that if you cannot see that, you should really not be playing with your boss's phone.
If you intend to carry on,look in my signature at the "Asskicker Thread "
That deals with s-on and flashing custom ROMS...

[Q] I need help, Cant update!

I rooted my HTC Sensation a few months ago and I could not get custom ROMS to go past there boot logo screens so I re-installed on carrier/factory ROM from a back up on the phones SD card. I originally wanted to do this to get JellyBean on my phone has HTC'S interface is a little ugly.
The problem is I want to install the latest system up date from my service provider but none of the RUU's I find for my Bell Mobility(Prymid_BM) phone are of the same version so it tells me I have the incorrect RUU, I want to install the system update but I cant because my phone is no longer stock. What els can I do to get my phone back to completely stock so carrier updates work forever and always.
My firmware version is 3.33 and all the BM RUU's i find are of and older version there for wont work
I have looked here for RUUs but there always to old:

http://www.shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Pyramid
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335368
I want my HTC Sensation on bell mobility to be completely stock so if you can help me please do so and give detailed answers so I'm not googling for hours like I already have been. What are my options, because as it stands right now services on my phone keep crashing and I have to keep telling it no don't report it to HTC, happens ALOT.

I replace him a new display with digitizer. Now all is fine, but only i have problems with SIM card how i write above,i looking answers on another HTC forum and somebody adviced me flash again with this ROM: RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.5_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_219480_signed

SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT -2.00.0002
RADIO-3822.10.08.04_M
eMMC-boot
I can with this current condition flash again with official ROM?
if i flash with custom ROM i must to do some changes in my phone?
To be able to flash custom roms you now have an option of either:
1. Unlocking your bootloader via HTCDev and installing a custom recovery
2. Downgrade HBoot using one of these guides http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318919 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399331 and then going s-off using Revolutionary
I would advise the second option because it's easier and more reliable.
Next time search or check the development index and stickied threads before asking basic questions. Guides to rooting and rom flashing is easily accessible in the forum :good:

[Q] Problems going back to stock after Venom Rom installed

Hi Everyone,
knowing it's all out there, just need to read (a lot), please help me finding the correct way to solve my problem. I can not change to other ROM, mostly due to lack of knowledge. Please before you judge and claim I should read and learn, i have kids who don't allow me read things properly, and there are tons of information out there, seems simplier to ask for directions this time, based on the situation of the phone.
This is the first custom rom I tried on my new S4 HTC One S (not brand new, just new to me). It was stock rom, locked. Followed instructions on different threads, I unlocked the phone, flashed TWRP recovery, installed SuperSU, copied Venom Rom zip to SD card and installed from recovery, with the aroma. Success. Before installation I did a backup in TWRP.
I very much like the rom (though have 2 issues: 1. phone reboots randomly without any notification. 2 phone loses carrier randomly, so I see no GSM connection as if SIM was removed. This happens when phone is untouched so no way SIM is loosy or something). When I try to chose carrier manually from settings, it sais no SIM card is installed...
But I would like to try other roms as well, and also wish to compare some stock roms. So I downloaded a generic HTC Europe stock RUU, hoping I can easily flash it. Relocked the phone, ran the RUU.exe with Fastboot USB mode in bootloader, but it all came up with error messages and left me at the HTC logo. All I can do is to re-install Venom 3.0.0 from recovery, that works, otherwise I end up in boot loop.
Also I can not go back to the original state using the backup from TWRP. It installs boots but it basicaly freezes before the phone setup comes. I can see the background image, the clock and the GSM antenna sign, but thats all, nothing else happens, no matter how hard I try to reboot.
Phone current boot screen shows: Tampered + Unlocked

OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot
Dec 14 2012, 17:10
When I re-locked the phone it said Tampered + Relocked + Security Warning
As recovery I have TWRP 2.6.0.0 flashed. I did nothing else.
Could someone help me with instructions or at least directions how I could go back to a nice stock RUU? With the one I downloaded i had different error codes 213 (wrong ID) and 255 Unkown error.
I believe as the phone is not S-OFF and/or Super CID, it is relevant which RUU I download. The phone used to boot with a voda logo, so I believe it was one of the UK or AT voda stock roms, but neither works.
Your opinion/feedback is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
skee

To go back to stock u have to flash the right RUU, depends on which CID ur phone got.
u can download it here: http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Ville
If u downloaded the right RUU, boot ur HOS into fastboot relock the phone and start the RUU.
Let it finish and u r on stock
Hi Homeboy, thanks for the answer. Seems clear. I have only 1 question. How can I make sure which is the right RUU?
I believe I should do a getvar all command, to see the CID id? Then what shall I look at the RUU's filename?
And after the phone having been relocked, shall it be in fatboot USB in bootloader or shall the phone be up and running when I start the RUU.exe from the computer?
thanks

hi,
i saw u live in Hungary so it should be the Europe RUU try this:
http://www.androidruu.com/getdownload.php?file=Ville/RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.31.401.5_Radio_1.06es.50.02.31_10.09a.50.04L_release_275655_signed.exe
And yes phone should be in fastboot when u start the RUU.

No network service.

Hey Guys!
Yesterday I flashed the rom "Liberty S4 MAX".
Within the Aroma installation it has an option to flash radio (I believe v1.20) and I said yes as I thought it would work good with that rom.
After playing around a little I found that the rom didn't statisfy my needs and I flashed MagioROM.
MagioROM did statisfy my needs, BUT I noticed that my network wouldn't work when I booted up my phone.
The problem I have now:
Every time my phone boots up I can enter my PIN-Code and the phone will stay on "No Signal" (no network service).
I do have a Wi-Fi signal.
I can , however, get it to work: I open my phone and open the dialer. I type *#*#4636#*#* and it bring me to the "testing" configuration. I can click "Phone Information" and scroll down to the preferred network service. It says WCDMA Preferred which is good. I can click "Turn off radio" and than click on "Turn on radio" enter my PIN-Code again and BOOM! the network works.
The network is, however, not stable and sometimes I have to do this step again a few times while my phone is running.
How do I solve this problem?
I did try to flash a new radio. I flashed every radio in this link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419699
I did try another rom (ViperOneS) but still the same problem.
My Phone:
HTC One S (S4)
S-ON
HBOOT : 2.15.0000
RADIO : 1.15.50.05.29
Thanks in advance!

If you have S-OFF just flash another Radio from a .zip in CWM or TWRP
aint work with noew radio
i've clean up sim card and sim card plug space - for now it is ok
anyway - thanks for advice
Same problem.
I upgraded to hboot 2.16 (my radio was 1.20.50.05.16; I am S-off with a 11111111 CID) and can now no longer connect to my network.
When I did *#*#4636#*#*, I got WCDMA, which was wrong. But I've tried different versions of GSM (which is what I need), and none seem to work. Even on the phone info screen, it keeps saying 'GSM service: Emergency calls only'. Also after I do radio off/radio on, it asks me for my pincode, I enter that, it accepts it, but nothing changes.
I've also flashed another radio (1.35a.32.45.27), but I get the same problem (first it says WCDMA, but even when I change to GSM, it still doesn't work.)
I've ran various RUUs - none of them solve the problem.
And I have of course tried to remove and reinsert the sim-card - but nothing works.
Does anybody have any ideas about what might be wrong?

I'm still stuck with this problem. and would still be grateful for any ideas about what the problem might be and (especially) how to solve it. Oh and to add to the mystery: when I put in my daughter's sim-card, it DOES automatically register without any problems. And I have already tried deleting all APNs and re-enter one based on the instructions given on the website of my provider (KPN), but I still can't get it to work,. There must be some other bizarre thing here...
