I have a Asus Fonepad 7 Single sim ME175CG. There is no recovery options under back up and reset. It is missing and no option to reset the device should I need to. The hard option is there but is does not wipe out anything. I have updated with the latest firmware from Asus, but same problem. I have also rooted it thinking I could try and resolve it this way, but no additional options.. I dont care about rooting just getting a recovery image working on there. Any ideas?

hi everyone,
(first of all i'm sorry for the bad english but i'm not so practical...)
anyone knows if is possibile to recovery an hard bricked device?!
i explain better the situation:
i was on TWRP 2.5 touch with JB bootloader & cromi-x 4.6
in the try to install cyano10 i downloaded and installed CWM6 by rom Manager
obviously this soft bricked my device...
so, without read anything i do the worst thing possible....
a factory reset from the bootloader....
now the device only boot, locked on first screen (the one with ASUS on black background.... and in the top left margin only "the device is unlocked" script )
no adb neither fastboot avaible, only APX mode is recognized....
anyone know if is possibile to save the device from this situation?!

Unfortunately if you don't have nvflash files backed up there is nothing you can do other than send it back to Asus for repair. They will likely charge you for this service.

I'm hoping SOMEONE here can help me, it seems that my Hisense Sero Pro is stuck on the SMART boot screen.
I've tried both wiping the tables cashe and even return to factory settings from the Recovery screen, but no luck.
Not a total newbie here, used to have a Nook Color that I rooted and installed various new system to, but the Hisense is untouched so far.
Can anyone help? while I would prefer to return to factory settings, I would settle on using the Clockwork version of something like it.
Thanks in advance!
same problem
Did you ever manage to re activate your Hisense sero 8 pro- I now have the same problem and the couple of cellphone tech shops I have taken it to say they are unable to find the software to download. Not having volume buttons one cant do a factory reset. (I have an old nexus which I have corrected this way)
Appreciate any help or advice
Well.
Few days ago I recived the notification for the OTA update of the tablet. I have CWM Recovery (and the device rooted, of course) and i tried to apply the OTA normaly. When the device restarts to do the update, it gets stucked in the recover.
I tried to do a factory reset, but it dosen't work (stills getting stucked at any restart). I also tried to download the OTA files into my PC and apply them throught "adb sideload", but I only have found the files for G Pad 8 /8.3.
Someone have any idea?
Thanks for all!

Hello and welcome to XDA! I suggest you register and post your question in the following thread, which deals partly with LG Pad 7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-pad-10/general/dev-thread-lg-g-pad-7-0-8-0-10-1-t2838995 People there might be able to help you out.
Good luck!
Hi All,
My ZE550KL has booted to Fastboot ROM mode and is not coming out of it.
My zenfone 2 laser with the following minimal config is given
Model Number: ASUS_Z00LD
Software information: WW_1.16.40.763_20151201 initially, later different patches available in the
HelpDesk of Asus site, but to no use.
I've applied Factory Data Reset option, Hard reset, there is no option to go for the safe mode.
What do you guys think that may fix the issue?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried reinstalling the original rom?
As you said in the other post of the WiFi problem and now this ... well, it seems that your device may be defective , it would be advisable to contact a technical service

Hard to say whether the original ROM was applied, as the device was able to boot on pressing the power button and volume down, the recovery mode and all the ROMs were applied one by one, lest it could bring to normal.
This device is different from the one with wifi device issue.
When connecting the official Lenovo Keyboard cover the device reboots and eventually lands in recovery mode. It's seemed to have started since the latest update, I've tried a factory reset and attempted to roll back the device however ended up in a Fastboot boot loop that I fixed with the Lenovo rescue assistant.
The keyboard has worked for over a month before this, does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?
My device is the XiaoXin Pad Pro with the latest ROW ROM.
This is the 2020 model, TB-J706F
TB-J706F_RF01_210601 Software
I have the same setup. Booted P11 and then attached keyboard - No problems.
Powered down the P11 then attached keyboard and booted up - No problems.
At about the time you got the last update had you also installed some new app(s)? Might be one of them causing a problem.

Not that I can remember, since this post I've found a couple Lenovo forum posts with people with the same problem. Apparently the update sometimes corrupts a keyboard parameter file, hope it gets fixed in the next update.
I experienced the same problem after updating to TB-J706F_S243005_210601_ROW (using the 11.5" XiaoXin Pad Pro/P11 Pro with the SDM730). If you can't wait for a system update to fix the issue, it is possible to flash the old ROM.
In short, the steps would be:
Fash TB-J706F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00018.0_Q_ZUI_12.0.335_ST_201103_qpst
Flash TB-J706F_S242001_210430_ROW
Turn off automatic updates before connecting to WiFi
You will loose your data on the tablet so have backups. I had success using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) and am happy to provide more information if it would help.
