Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar issue to me and how you resolved it.
I've searched the forums and found nothing more than what I've been doing.
A few months ago I dismissed the Lollipop update because I wasn't on WiFi for a few days. I dismissed it multiple times and then it stopped showing up. I went to check for system updates and it just said no available updates. Even now in January it's still saying the same thing and I haven't had any subsequent notifications to install the Lollipop update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :good:

I'm assuming you're still on 4.4.4. Sideload the update in the stock recovery.

Ok, So I posted about a week ago and someone said that Nvidia had pulled the OTA 5.1 update because they had issues.
Have they started rolling the OTA back out yet? Still on 5.0 and would like the update soon.
My bootloader is unlocked, but I'm running the stock 5.0 ROM. What would be the best method of getting it?
Thanks in advance.
No, it's not out yet. nVidia hasn't said much about it, it's been terribly quiet...
from twitter: "We are working hard to finish up fixes for issues reported in OTA 3.0.I'll see if I can give a better date once fixes are verified."
My S6 is now on 5.0.2.The same version it was when I got the device. Whenever I try to search for an update, it says "latest version already installed".
I tried connecting to smart switch on PC..still the same..my buddy who also owns an s6 here, has already received the 5.1.1 update.
Any help n suggestions will be good.
Thanks.

Hi maneesha hope you can help
Maneesha 17:49:57
Hello Chris, how are you today?
Thank you for provided me with the information on your query.
Chris Nutt 17:50:25
As you can see its regarding firmware update
I'm good thanks hope your the same
Maneesha 17:51:34
Can I just clarify that your query if about updating the software on your phone?
Chris Nutt 17:53:01
Yes it is maneesha I sent back 2 faulty s6 that were on 5.1 this third is on 5.0,2 and saying up to date I know that's not the case
I'm on three network 5.1.1 was released for it well over a month ago
I've also tried smartswitch
Maneesha 17:55:26
That's correct, we have another update which has been released, 5.1.1 has only been released in the last few weeks. As updates are released in batches and does depend on the serial number and the region you live in.
Chris Nutt 17:56:37
So I will eventually get it I was just worried because other two s6 updated
Maneesha 17:57:21
Yes Chris, the update will still come to your phone, it's nothing to do with a fault. If we released the update to every Samsung user the servers would eventually crash. The update being released in batches does allow a smoother operating.
Chris Nutt 17:57:57
Was worried that somehow I'm missing update especially as I see Samsung are going to be doing security update stage fright etc
Any idea at all of time frame please maneesha?
Maneesha 18:00:17
The stage fright information being reported is still being investigated at this moment Chris to ensure there is no threat to our phones, as the update is released by Google.
Chris Nutt 18:01:01
OK that's good to know I hope to see an update soon cheers for your help
Hopefully really soon lol
Maneesha 18:01:36
My pleasure, is there anything else I can help you with today?
Chris Nutt 18:01:55
No thanks have a good one

I have a gbox q2 that hasn't worked in months correctly. There is a new firmware update out that might fix several of my problems, but I can't fine the update anyplace. The Matricom site is of no use and the forum that has the update has been down for days now. My question is does anyone know where I can find the update? One other thing is can the q2 be updated from 5.1.1 to 6.0 os. Thanks for any help and sorry if I have posted in the wrong place.

Dude, there is no such update to android 6.0...
The latest firmware can be found here url deleted*
Although with Matricoms previous for completely cocking up firmware updates, coupled with the fact that their forum is down for weeks, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was no help at all.
*Seems I'm not allowed to post you a link
Look on the Matricom wiki
I have several gboxes, just good memories I guess..
