[Resolved] install cyanogenmod 7 huawei u8180/u8160

i can't post this in Android Development... coz i'm a new member
anyway ... i installed cyanogenmod 7 yesterday on my gaga u8180 , and i'm happy for that :laugh: lol
and i know lot of people wonder how to do it ...
well , first ==> you have to root your phone , by the way , i noticed that most of people use ' SuperOneClick' , but i didn't use it ...
i used ' unclockRoot ' -> http://www*unlockroot*com/ ( replace * to . ) ! it's easy to use it ... but you should make sure of " android debugging " ( setting => applications => Development =>Enable android debugging ) and Drivers ... so , download unlock root & install it on ur pc , connect your phone with the computer via USB ! click on ' root ' .... ( if u faced probs , contact me )
, 2 => download ' ClockWorkMod ' ( i followed johnnyparanoia.blogspot/how-to-install-clockworkmod-on-huawei* steps and it was goog enough )
3) => 1) Open Rom Manager, the Recovery Flasher ClockworckMod Huawei u8160
* 2) In Rom Manager: Download Rom -> psyke83
* 3) Select all options.*
4) After downloading the ROM and Google Apps, you are about to have a dialogue "Pre-installation of the ROM." You can make a backup of the current ROM, erase and Data Cache (sometimes necessary), Wipe Dalvik Cache (recommended).
.... hope it's clear enough to do it ... if u have any ques i'm here guyz

When i try to download ROM and GApps it says that the zip file is corrupted. what should i do?

i root my u8180 and then install rom manager...then select download recovery image and then i reboot into recovery but the phone just stuck on the huawei logo. I restart it by removing the battery.
am i doing something wrong????

[Help] Install new ROM

Hello guys, i'm new on the world of Android and i need a little help. I'm newbie but i learn fast.
I got a new phone with android 4.4.2 China honor 3 (fake), after uninstalling some China app the operation system started to stuck at logo at the start.
So to solve the problem i red that i could restore the old OS using ROM file. The factory where i bought the phone sent me the official ROM file for my phone.
Now i entered on Recovery mode, first i did "wipe data/factory reset", then with ADB i loaded the file .zip "adb sideload update.zip". But how the file is uploaded it says "Installation aborted", without any error.
So now i need your help how can i restore this system... I tried also to buy an SD card 8 gb and upload the file on the SD, but same error.

Thank you for the answer. But wheni try to run TouchRecoveryLoader.zip from recovery, it says "installation aborted" like for the ROM.
I dont know if the phone got root access, i think this can be the problem.
Can youhelp me?

SUMMARY:
I unistalled wrongly MIUI (MiHome app) and the phone stopped working correctly.
Phone is a fake honor 3c with MTK 65xx processor.
1 - Phone doesnt load the main theme, after the android logo i see a black page. (i see the top bar where there are wifi, time etc)
2 - The phone is not rooted. (i think)
3 - I can enter in Restore Mode and Factory Mode.
4 - I got the official ROM file. (the factory gave me it)
5 - All file zip (that i try to use in recovery from SD or ADB) give me "Installation aborted" without any error.
6 - I haven't USB DEBUG enabled, and i can't enable it cause i can't load the Operation system.

if you open the zip file you got, whats inside it? is it a .tar file, or a .md5 file?

Sorry, i didn't write that i SOLVE the problem!
I userd flash tool selecting only "ANDROID" and pointing to the system.img of the ROM that the factory gave me.
Android reinstalled, all working fine.

[Completed] HELP HELP !! BOOTLOOP [ROOTED] witout cwm

Hi guys . I need your help ..
I have a Firefly Intense X and i rooted it using Kingo and it works fine .. Then I downloaded Pimp My Rom to customized my rom .. I had fun customizing it and it always works fine. Then i'm not contented with my phone's performance so I adjusted it again until I bump in to the adjusting its dpi. I'm not sure if its under Dalvik VM or kernel tweaks .. Then adjust another thing . I don't remember what it is but I remember that it has 'step n1' then again , I adjust something then I click the last step the 'step n(x) - reboot' . then after that , it reboot over and over and over again .. I mean it will show the Company logo the the boot animation then it will go to the homescreen then says download failed after a few seconds , it will go back to the boot animation then go to the homescreen then reboot the again and again and again ..
My phone is recognized by the computer at the device manager under Adb Interface as HTC Dream but my phone is Firefly Mobile. I thought it will appear under 'Other devices' with a yellow warning sign but it's now . I'ts under Adb Interface. I tried to unistall it many times but it is always an HTC Dream. I also downloaded the adb setup 1.4.2 .
I wipe factory data and cache but it is still happening. I already try to go to the fastboot and unlock but i can't unlock it . It says volume up for yes and volume down for no, I click my volume up and nothing is happening. And I also tried to " adb push <filename> /sdcard/. " and it says 'no such file or directory' but the file name I inserted is correct and it is placed to the correct folder. I also tried to removed my sdcard and direct it at my pc and put a new downloaded custom rom and insert it again to my phone but I can't find it when I choose to 'apply update from sdcard'.
NOTE:
I can go to recovery mode and fastboot mode (locked) only not on a CWM.
Please please please .. I need a solution for this problem. And if you have please make it a step-by-step process.
I need you guys .

[Resolved] unable to mount storage n 0 mb internal storage

i have Micromax unite 2 , thats a mediatek device
installed custom recovery TWRP V3
when am doing this in twrp
1. Install zip
2. Wipe/ advanced /format
3. ADB side loading failed
4. fix permissions
5. Mount > unable to select system/cache/data
6. Restore
7. Partition external sd card i didn't tried
I am getting this errors
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
Unable to mount storage
after searching a lot on web i didn't find anything useful even though some are mentioning it as "big deep problem n something related to motherboard etc.) that's y am posting this
(worked for my device hope works for others too)
I don't what this error actually means or how it get fixed from what i did
I SIMPLY FLASHED A STOCK ROM FROM LAPTOP
(am not adding any links bcz this is my first post so am not allowed , but u will easily get the steps details on web)
as TRWP isn't working at all
use a PC/LAPTOP with a working USB cable
1. Download drivers of device n installed in PC (there r various methods available find a suitable one for ur device)
2. for mediatek device use SP FLASH TOOL for flashing ROM/CUSTOM ROM i used STOCK ROM (or find a suitable way to flash from PC/LAPTOP depending on ur device)
3. follow the procedure of flashing ROM as described
4. After successful flashing disconnect phone from PC/LAPTOP and reboot phn (it will take some tym on first boot so wait for some minutes)
5. All done
n check ur IMEI (*#06#) if u get INVALID
as i get then just use MAUI META OR SN WRITE TOOL (or any other method suitable to ur device some apps r also mentioned which works on rooted device to fix this) i used maui meta
n might b u get NVRAM WARNING: ERR= 0*10( if used SP FLASH TOOL) simply search on web n u will resolve it
phone is working fine am also using internet
worked for me( didn't tried on any other device)
hope works for others also, who r getting this error

marshmallow for k4000

I am new to this forum and i have an oukitel k4000 phone with android 5 on it after reading about marshmallow i thought an update would be good , so emailed oukitel and they sent me a link to a marshmallow update i have listed whats in it below but i am not sure what to do .I would have attached the link to the update but forum wouldn't let me . I would be grateful for any help . Speaking to a local phone shop man who didn't seem to be very good but he said that with the cpu mtk 5735 and the amount of memory 2gb 16gb that my phone wouldn't be fast enough .

Hi,
Follow these steps to update your phone (or ask Oukitel via mail how to update it):
0). Download and extract this program https://www.needrom.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Pack-SPMDT-v3.1544.00.00.rar
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Click Scatter File and select the MT6735M_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
8). Click "Start all".
9). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer,
remove and insert the battery (if the battery is removable) and reconnect it to the computer.
10). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
11). Completed.
