These builds are continued, but please discuss at http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/development/rom-cm12-unofficial-builds-t2945535
Hello, everyone!
I have CM12 built for the M8 and figured I would let others try it out.
Unofficial, Unstable Builds
It is almost certainly not 100% functional. As such, I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device or anything that happens to you or anything around your device. No guarantees that this ROM will be safe at all.
It is built entirely from what our wonderful device maintainers have in CyanogenMod's repositories. Again, it is probably not complete, and I do not know what is/isn't working. All I have done is apply some patches to get the build in a "buildable" status. It builds for me, no guarantees that it will run for you.
Having a public forum for people to debug these types of builds may help the device maintainers to see what needs worked on.

damn man ...no offense meant but with a broken arm you can do all this. Just wondering what you would do without it broken.
Hope you get well soon. I would say post it for us peeps to play with.

I'd say to post yours as well santod, I see the m7 folks are enjoying the build you put out

Spoiler
As per usual I take no responsibility if any of my suggestions cause your device to brick, explode, melt, raise your house payments, shave your dog or pack up and move to the Bahamas.

Loving all the progress on various builds but please commit them back to CM branch too It's great having people fix issues but even better if we can get them in one tree of code. If I actually had anything useful to contribute I gladly would Dan's fixes on the CM12 tree cover the tiny fixes I made though

CyanogenMod Nightly Build (OFFICIAL NIGHTLIES FROM CM ARE BACK) [MOD PLEASE CLOSE]

THIS THREAD WILL BE CLOSED SOON, A NEW CONTINUATION THREAD FOR DISCUSSION CAN BE FOUND HERE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23338370#post23338370
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION - official nightly builds from the CyanogenMod team are back up everyone! Check it out! ****http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=p999****
Check out this post for more info on the status of this thread.
First of all, all credit for this of course goes to the CyanogenMod team. I simply put together a little build bot to build CyanogenMod since their build bot seems to be out of commission.
This is simply a build of CyanogenMod with the latest nightly changes. I have changed nothing other than the name of the ZIP file, so it's "stock" CyanogenMod; it's just like a nightly that you would normally download from their website. You can install it like normal and run it like normal, etc. If there are any more changes, I'll make another build to include them.
**I also changed the ZIP files to include the time that they were built (in 24-hour EST time) to help differentiate the builds.**
**The G2X CyanogenMod nightly changelog can be found here for reference : If the changelog is down then checkout this link! Thanks to brentil!**
***The stock gingerbread LG libgemmdts.so library is included in all builds following the commit that called for it to be included***
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The newest build includes all changes up to and including "u8150: Disable ICS rotation animation (MERGED)" (This includes the new Blade style lockscreen)
Download it here: http://dev-host.org/X19
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW: ** The bot also automatically uploads all builds to this website: http://thewastedpotential.com/rom/ ** (Big thanks to not2nys!!) The downloads from this site are reliable and fast. For now, I'll keep uploading the builds to dev-host as well, but you can always check that site to see if there are any extra builds on there. But as a rule of thumb, the newest build and a link to it will always be found in this OP, above, in between the ---------------------------------------------------------------- dividers.
Thanks to wowsher and whoareyou at the CyanogenMod forums for the advice on my repo sync problems!
If there are any questions, comments, requests, etc. then as usual leave them here!

That would be the sod! Flash a different kernel??
I flashed #201 directly over my #190 with no problems thus far. I don't get SoD nor this magical battery life either.
I'm afraid if I push my luck too far, I'll end up with a build that has SoD. Faux has always had a good Kernel btw. Seems other kernels use his repository as a base.
Hmmmm well I'm using the latest build I have up there and I don't get a SoD at all...I am using the stock CM kernel though. So if you're getting a SoD with it then it may be because of a custom kernel if you're using one, or it might be some other weird conflict. If all else fails, go back to a different build or wipe data and try to install clean.
I've been using this since it first popped, without a single issue...incredible. I flashed faux's latest last night, and all that did was make the rom even more incredible. I know people talk about wiping, and maybe I overdo it, but I do the factory reset, cache wipe, system format, dalvik wipe...and then do it all over again, whenever moving to a new rom. Again, maybe overkill, but like I said, not a single issue...just serious speed and smoothness!

•If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
•1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
•2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods as well (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
•3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

What is Evervolv?
Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) rom. We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this rom is community driven and and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors. And this whole time we were receiving 4.3 nightlies
Right now the current source we are working on is Jellybean (Android 4.3.x).
Current version: 3.3.0p1
Nightlies (starting 8.28.2013) available for testing. Once issues are re mediated, a release build will be posted.
Pre-Requisites:
1. CWM or TWRP
2. S-Off, or thorough understanding of how you work around S-On to get the kernel included in this ROM flashed. FAUX, CM kernels are not compatible and will result in functionality issues if it boots at all.
3. Desire to be helpful in an appropriate manner. Logcats, dmesgs, etc are very helpful, and necessary to assist.
4. Full data wipe/factory reset
Downloads:
http://www.evervolv.com/devices/speedy - Named "ev_speedy-nightly-2013.xx.xx-squished.zip"
This requires gapps for 4.3, do not use 4.2 gapps.
Where do we get the GApps?
Edit: I got them from HERE. 20130813
Edit2: Wow this works great right out of the box! Nightly 10-2
thanks, runs great so far. only issue i see right now is i cant take screenshots, keeps telling me storage might be in use but its not.
Confirmed on my end. Screenshot isn't working for me either. I'll try to get a logcat later tonight.
Here is the logcat I got when attempting to get a screen shot. I hope this helps.

Hi all guys. As a new developer here (I'm kinda a little noob at the moment to be honest... ) I want to share with you my builds of CyanogenMod 12. I'm building it everyday when I see they update it on gerrit. I don't (for now) work directly in the code so I can't provide a real changelog.

my device and they boot. If you damage your phone please don't blame me

So far, anerik's thread has been most useful; least bugs, big fixes, clean, and very fast and smooth.

YES !!!!
I'm confused. What's the point in releasing a phone ROM which does not support any phone features?

In fairness to the dev...status is listed as "Testing" and not stable

Yes, you're right. Though the official website doesn't mention this particular detail, and over there this ROM is placed in stable ROM section rather then Experimental. "Testing" status is shown only in the OP, and in somewhat modest way.
I don't want to sound rude, but, in fairness to common sense, one wouldn't expect to find a limitation like this in a phone ROM that has been released to public (even in early stages of development). Unless it is clearly mentioned. (IMHO.)
Edit: As for the ROM itself, I am really happy there is Lollipop development for M4, and I'm grateful for the effort. I really hope this project will go all the way to a stable version in which everything works!

Haha. yeah, i agree. I guess my mindset when i flash is that I can always go back to a backup if stuff doesn't work, so it's not that big of a deal to me. But...i can see how this issue could really screw someone up, if they were downloading and flashing the rom on their phone and didn't have access to a computer or wifi...then you basically have an iPod until you get home.
Another consideration...he might not have the phone and is just porting the rom blindly, too. I know Kairi doesn't actually have this device and I think mini no longer has it either.
