-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION - official nightly builds from the CyanogenMod team are back up everyone! Check it out! ****http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=p999****
Check out this post for more info on the status of this thread.
First of all, all credit for this of course goes to the CyanogenMod team. I simply put together a little build bot to build CyanogenMod since their build bot seems to be out of commission.
This is simply a build of CyanogenMod with the latest nightly changes. I have changed nothing other than the name of the ZIP file, so it's "stock" CyanogenMod; it's just like a nightly that you would normally download from their website. You can install it like normal and run it like normal, etc. If there are any more changes, I'll make another build to include them.
**I also changed the ZIP files to include the time that they were built (in 24-hour EST time) to help differentiate the builds.**
**The G2X CyanogenMod nightly changelog can be found here for reference : If the changelog is down then checkout this link! Thanks to brentil!**
***The stock gingerbread LG libgemmdts.so library is included in all builds following the commit that called for it to be included***
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The newest build includes all changes up to and including "u8150: Disable ICS rotation animation (MERGED)" (This includes the new Blade style lockscreen)
Download it here: http://dev-host.org/X19
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW: ** The bot also automatically uploads all builds to this website: http://thewastedpotential.com/rom/ ** (Big thanks to not2nys!!) The downloads from this site are reliable and fast. For now, I'll keep uploading the builds to dev-host as well, but you can always check that site to see if there are any extra builds on there. But as a rule of thumb, the newest build and a link to it will always be found in this OP, above, in between the ---------------------------------------------------------------- dividers.
Thanks to wowsher and whoareyou at the CyanogenMod forums for the advice on my repo sync problems!
If there are any questions, comments, requests, etc. then as usual leave them here!

That would be the sod! Flash a different kernel??
I flashed #201 directly over my #190 with no problems thus far. I don't get SoD nor this magical battery life either.
I'm afraid if I push my luck too far, I'll end up with a build that has SoD. Faux has always had a good Kernel btw. Seems other kernels use his repository as a base.
Hmmmm well I'm using the latest build I have up there and I don't get a SoD at all...I am using the stock CM kernel though. So if you're getting a SoD with it then it may be because of a custom kernel if you're using one, or it might be some other weird conflict. If all else fails, go back to a different build or wipe data and try to install clean.
I've been using this since it first popped, without a single issue...incredible. I flashed faux's latest last night, and all that did was make the rom even more incredible. I know people talk about wiping, and maybe I overdo it, but I do the factory reset, cache wipe, system format, dalvik wipe...and then do it all over again, whenever moving to a new rom. Again, maybe overkill, but like I said, not a single issue...just serious speed and smoothness!

Ok this one booted. Kinda similar to the 1.8 that booted. Screen flickers and is laggy, especially on home screen but i found if you switch wallpapers it helped both. Still no cell, wifi or gps but also in about phone its not showing a modem. So..... maybe the issue. No camera. Same issue with sd card, sees it but cant see pics or etc. Hardware keys are mapped right for the most part, camera button does nothing. Soft keys work buthome is menu, menu is nothing and search is screen lock.
@ ||acer||, not able to take screenies with phone, will try tomorrow or this weekend when i will be on my laptop.
Also would be great to get someone else to try this and the other booting one just to verify what i am seeing. Great job guys! Getting closer

Your build I got the black screen after Samsung logo.
Deano's build I got stuck on Samsung logo.
Did anybody happen to try to do what atoore said in the old MIUI thread?
atoore said:
Like I said in my previous posts, the gralloc libs might be causing the flicker issue. Afaik it doesn't matter how many garroloc.*.so you got inside the lib/hw folder as long it points to YOUR device's correct platform name inside the build.prop. For examples
gralloc.s5pc110.so is for the galaxy s 4g
gralloc.leo.so is for the HTC hd2
gralloc.goldfish.so is not for your device afaik.
You will need to find your device platform name and edit the build.prop with the correct name.
You guys mentioned that cm7 doesn't have the flickers right? Well I suggest that you use the gralloc.****.so from the working cm7 build and see what happeneds.

That patch will work with any Rom. All it does is move the 4 files to their right places to replace the other ones.
Like what I do manually with my guide but you just have to flash it.
Does Miui_V4 have the Tegra/Nvida driver support that the CM9 builds lack?
Been quiet for awhile so forgive my ignorance, long day at the office!
I've been using this for a couple hours. Works perfectly. I noticed some things are not in English such as when the phone is charging is says 'cargando' on the lock screen instead of 'charging' and in the message app under the 'Recommend' tab everything is in Chinese. Everything is else fine though besides the normal cm9 issues with drivers.

They don't have any control over that... if you were quiet you were observing, if you were observing you would know that NVIDIA is the only one who has control over that and refuses to release the source code... I'm sorry if this sounds mean but you need to understand that.

as far as Whitehawkx guide, I would get stuck on the part where I had to download the files to transfer...

Can you tell us what you're thinking of adding?
It always sucks settling on a ROM which then becomes bloated/themed in a future update.

Well currently, it's stock rooted AOSP, as you can tell. I've been thinking about what to do with this ROM, and depending on user preference and if people prefer the stock experience or not, I'll either add more to this or maintain a stock AOSP build and make another ROM with more features.
The point I'm trying to make is, speak up! Let me know what you do and don't like, and I'll take it into consideration.
Right now, I'll probably be adding a couple more things to enhance the experience, like a extended power menu with recovery and boot loader reboot options. Let me know what you think!

Running smoothly on m-kernel. Battery life is most important in my book, stock has always given me that so thanks for this. I think it would benefit from minor tweaks, ie WiFi single click toggle in quick settings, expanded reboot menu and init.d support, but I like it minimal.

Good to hear guys! Once I fix the driver issues I'll be adding these features. I'm glad you like the ROM.
Should rotation/camera be working yet? These are the only two issues I have on v0.2. Thanks again.

Yeah, that's what I'm working on for v0.3 right now. Sorry it's taking so long, I've been pretty busy. Should have a release here today or tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!

Working on building a new release now with fixed camera and rotation. If everything goes as planned, I should be uploading this build sometime tonight or early tomorrow!
Thanks for your patience!
When I flashed this and the gapps from Goo.im, I was missing the email.apk and the exhange services apk. I think those are supposed to be in the AOSP apps.

working good so far. One issue i noticed was that the volumes are very low. When using the music players i have to turn up the volume to 60-70% to get the same volume level i used to get at 30%.

You built with the evervolv kernel right? Exhilarate is supported, blaze is not. Thought you should know.

Ok...First off..If I look anywhere, I cant verify that..and if ya look there are builds for both devices..and as far as I know neither are "supported"...And I built both.(had a GREAT time doing it as well).and if your talking about the sd bug in the kernel, Its on both devices..Not trying to sound hostile..Just stating..I'll get it dialed in..Its not on ANY other rom I build..So..All in time..
