I have my nexus 5 for about 3 months and i have very small scratch on my screen that only noticeable by light
sometimes when im outside and im with the phone its very annoying to see that scratch.
what can i do to remove it?
I would recommend to just put a screen protector on it that'll hide the scratch. I've bought the scratch remover and used it before on the screen and didn't have any luck getting rid of them. Spigen has an ultra crystal clear screen protector that feels nice and hides the light scratches.
Put a tempered glass
Buy a new screen costs 10$ and glue it on the lcd with loca glue

Hi guys,
I am currently using the Spigen ultra crystal screen protector. It is a very good screen protector overall except the surface is not very smooth. Has anyone tried other Spigen screen protector (Non-glass one) ?

My ultra crystal feels like glass. No complaints here.
Im also using a ultra clear. It a good fit til I decide on the nano slim, iloome, or feather glass by mime. Although I heard mime service sucks huge donkey bawls lol

I was debating between the two as there are is a significant difference in price... was leaning towards the more expensive glass ones though...

I have tried the slim glass before using the ultra crystal. The thing that I don't like the glass is the edge is quite sharp, it also adds the thickness on the phone.

Did you install it correctly? The side with the tag "back" is the side goes onto the screen. It's also labeled "2", which makes you think that is the 2nd film you need remove after installing it.

Yes, I am sure I have installed it correctly since the screen protector has aligned properly for the front camera lens.

It's not the alignment issue. You might have reversed the sides.

Yes, I understand what you mean. If I have put it have the reserved side then the it wont' align the camera lens on the top right corner.
I just bought spigen glass tr and installed it, I am wondering how safe is to remove it and to re-apply?
will the adhesive still be good and will the bubbles come after re-applying ?
thank you

You'll need to wipe the side with the adhesive with a alcohol wipe before reinstalling it, then squeezy out bubbles and alcohol. (take your time)
But be real careful. The adhesive side is ultra dust magnet.

It is safe to remove it but is going to be harder to re-apply since the dust can go in easily.
Has anyone tried out this Coolreall tempered glass screen protector? Appears that its edge to edge like the Nillkin protectors. Ordered one, should be here in the next couple days.

I like how it says explosion proof, I am sure a grenade would destroy the screen protector and the phone.

I think they just mean that the glass shards won't go everywhere if the glass breaks. it will stay intact. No flying shards etc.
looks really cool. please post pics after you get it and let us know how you like it
I'm getting one on Thursday as well.

would be interested to see the results as well.
Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong color. I was asking for black instead of gold. I'm now trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle in exchanging.
My Coolreal tempered glass screen protector arrived today from Amazon. The quality looks really good, and it will definitely cover the entire screen. My only concern is that it appears the adhesive is only on the gold border and not the center of the screen. Haven't put it on my wife's S6 yet.
UTLK Galaxy S6 Screen Protector HD Clear Tempered Glass
I couldn't wait for the others to test these, so I bought the white version from UTLK on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WOA5HM0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
Just installed it and it looks interesting, I mean its different from other glass protectors I have used before on my phones. but this definitely covers the whole screen and bezel, there is a little haloing as you see in the pics but they are disappearing. There screen protector quality attracts a bit of smudging which is not common in high quality glass. Overall I think its a good option at the price.
I installed one on my wife's phone last night. Results were good, some slight haloing around the edges as well. Hopefully they will disappear.

Thanks for the photos and mine has some haloing too. Going to wait a few days and might try out the UTLK brand if the haloing does not go away.
I got that one from Amazon an like the others there was a little haloing but I had to remove it as my tech21 case was pushing the protector off every time I press a side button... now I'm using those smaller protectors but I think I will end up with a plastic one... (I like my case ok?! heheheh)

Does anyone know of one of these Edge to Edge screen covers that has adhesive on the screen as well and not just the edges?

The one I removed had adhesive on the screen. No problems with touch.
The one I just applied has adhesive on the screen. (And also as much halo as the last protector I had )
Ah, OK I wasn't sure these had adhesive on the screen or not, thought that maybe had something to do with the halo. Oh well.

Sounds promising. I like to try a full adhesive one like that someday on mine. Hopefully the gaps on the sides won't be too large on this?
I'm currently using an edge only adhesive glass protector, which covers most of the screen and is case friendly. With that I mean , once the case is on you cannot see gaps on either sides.
Downsides are the black OLED screen looks grey for some reason with the one I'm using . Example with the screen turned off the n9 looks black, but with the screen protector I'm using it looks grey.
For that price, I'd rather get the whitestone. Just me personally.
looks good, damn expansive too, but will it work??
i tried some of these back then for the note 8.
they all lift at edge of both side and the bubbles keep coming back. they just not sticking good enough.
only in my experience, i never trusted these false result product anymore until they proven by many reputable xda members and you-tube reviewers.
good-luck with you purchase.
please report back if they are legit.

I've had bad experiences with the dome glass screen protectors before. No matter what I do there's always glue around the edges that pickup dust which is unacceptable for a screen protector that expensive.
I just hope this screen protector turns out well and will report back to you guys when I receive it and install it.

I have the whitestone on my S9+, once you wipe the glue off the edges, there's no dust issues. Granted, I have mine in a case (simple TPU) as well.

I don't think olive oil is a big deal... Just apply a generous amount and it'll stick for a while. I'm up to a month I think and it still looks brand new. Yes it's case friendly. I have a heavy duty car and slim case. Both don't mess with the screen at all
I couldn't stand the white Halo around the edges with my previous screen protector, so I ordered the Skinomi wet install one. It's not tempered glass, but more like a thick film. Very happy with the results. There are no bubbles and no air around the edges. You can't even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. Now I know it won't protect the screen in a hard fall, but it will definitely prevent scratches. Goes really well with my thin Tudia case.

I'm not a big fan of thick tempered screen protectors in the first place. They don't cover the entire phone like the film ones do. I've never cracked a screen on any of my phones and just need something to protect the screen from scratches.
I use TPU wet application film protection.
Skinomi works fine with my Tudia GLOST
Does anyone have suggestions for how to remove micro searches from the screen? I've heard mixed things about using toothpaste and am wondering if anyone one else has had experience in this area

DONT use tooth paste. It's just jerks lying for YouTube hits. You may being noticing just scratches on the oleophopic coating. You can't fix that. If you can feel the scratches with your nail the you can polish them out but you will remove more oleophobic Coating. My advice put a screen protector on and forget about it or ask OnePlus to replace screen if you want perfection .
Just apply a uv tempered glass and leave it that way.
The Power of Oneplus 7 Pro be with you
As advised above, LOCA (Liquid optically clear adhesive) is apparently good for hiding micro-scratches so applying a UV Glue screen protector will probably help and avoid future damage. The Whitestone Dome protector would most likely be the best candidate although it is pricey but has tons of good reviews.

I agree. Apply one of those uv svreen protectors and the glue will fill those scratches and make them invisible, and also those screen protectors look the best.
