The funny thing is: I can put my Nexus 9 into silent mode but not my Nexus 5. And yes the Nexus 9 has also vibration mode.
So i consider this as a bug. Its possible with my Nexus 9 but not with my Nexus 5

I haven't seen that on the Nexus 9. If it's possible on there, maybe Google just needs to update it on the Nexus 5.

Disable priority notifications in Android 5?

Hi,
After getting the latest Android-release on my Nexus 5, my phone has started to switch to "priority notifications only"-mode all the time. I can sit there reading a webpage when it suddenly switches over. This has made me lose both alarms and other notifications that i needed to get. So for me it is 100% useless junk, but i cannot find a way to deactivate it. Any tips?
Settings > Sound & Notification > Interruptions, do you have Downtime set?
Also, why is this in Accessories?

Well you have something else changing it because no such issue here ever.
I have the exact same issue. Mine turns on 10 times a day! SO ANNOYING! Wish I knew what was causing this!
If you are using an app to change sound profiles such as Llama, every time it changes the sound profile the phone will enter priority mode for some reason.
Thanks but not running any apps that change sound profiles. Anything else?

Dude. Really? You've been *****ing about this phone since you got it. Your comments in most threads are completely unhelpful. Why not put the phone on swappa and go somewhere else?

Haven't been around in a while few questions!

hello everyone, as title says im just ask and hope for a reply!
Once the boot-loader is unlocked can it be locked again?
Can i down grade my OS without rooting?
Whats the best Rom/kernel to put on this phone? (must have silent mode unlike lollipop-_-)
Cataclysm is lollipop with silent. Check out its thread

Lollipop has silent mode. It's called None.

None also mutes alarms so not really.. "Priority" is silent mode, but with the extra feature of letting you choose apps that can bypass it. If you never set an app to priority then its the exact same as silent.
All = normal
Vibrate = Vol down to zero and it'll only vibrate
Priority = Silent mode but extra feature letting you choose specific apps to bypass it
None = new mode with absolutely no sound/vibration for anything including alarms

Alert Slider Customization for OxygenOS 3

Hey Guys,
i guess the most of u know the app "Vibrate Mode" from the Oneplus 2. And maybe u also know this app doesnt work anymore.
It seems like there is a method to get those features by using tasker, but i dont like this, since it is still buggy.
Maybe we can reach a dev, who can bring the "Vibrate Mode App" features back to the Oneplus 3, using OxygenOS and root/xposed.
I think there are really really much people out there, which would like to have the ability to change the alert slider to "all - vibrate - silent".
Since this is the only logical function imo. :cyclops:
Please push this thread to heaven, so we maybe get some dev's to work on this! :good:
Cheers!
I've already contacted the devs that made the previous mods. No reply
Use this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nqk.vibratemodeextended
And in settings allow all contacts in alert slider > priority
Works for me

If some dev happens to read this I'd love to have more features with the slider. For example best for me would be Normal - Flashlight - Silent etc.
Let's hope someone does this
There's already one xposed module (Alert slider) but it's old and not supporting op3.
for me VibrateMode works perfectly...

And u don't face the Problem, when switching back from vibrate to all, that the vibrate Icon keeps alive and also Sound is set to vibrate?

Im also having the same issue (with xposed).
Cmon Devs
Get this App working again... guess the most out there would be willed to donate u money for bringing this feature back.
This shouldn't be that hard for a Coder, since the device sources are out :-/

Same issue. When sliding back down from Silent to All, it remains in Vibrate :\
I can confirm Tasker works, and should remedy the issue of it remaining on vibrate. I'm now waiting for a way to reverse the slider, and I'm sure a free solution will come along soon enough too.
try the beta for oos3. it works for me

I can confirm this work!!! Now just an option to revert.
Are you sure it works? I have tried all the builds and I'm pretty sure this build was the closest as it worked correctly. However, every so often it doesn't go into vibrate mode or doesn't restore the volume level.

[Q] Galaxy s7 nougat-turn off 'popup' 'heads up' but without ADB?

Hey guys,
Sry if it is double post but i cannot find the same question.
So is there an option to turn off popup or heads up notifications or whatever they are called in 7.0 nougat but without that ADB procedure which is in my opinion only partial fix (it turns it off for all apps) and also it is funny that i even have to do that on a new update when it worked on the 6.01 on a flagship expensive phone...cmon samsung...
Thanks in advance

Hi all. I have my Pixel 2 for a few days and I just realized that he don't play sound when you charge the phone . Is this a bug of Oreo 8.0.0 or phone ..? Has anyone had the problem or a solution to offer me.
Maybe something to do with do not disturb mode?

I did not set any particular settings. If I remember correctly, this bug already existed on the nexus 5x but I do not remember the manipulation to be done. I just wanted to know if the plug-in sound works on the other pixels or if it's just mine. If it's just me it's okay I'm fine.
May be something related to USB audio? You can disable it in the developer options.
