Alert Slider Customization for OxygenOS 3 - OnePlus 3 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hey Guys,
i guess the most of u know the app "Vibrate Mode" from the Oneplus 2. And maybe u also know this app doesnt work anymore.
It seems like there is a method to get those features by using tasker, but i dont like this, since it is still buggy.
Maybe we can reach a dev, who can bring the "Vibrate Mode App" features back to the Oneplus 3, using OxygenOS and root/xposed.
I think there are really really much people out there, which would like to have the ability to change the alert slider to "all - vibrate - silent".
Since this is the only logical function imo. :cyclops:
Please push this thread to heaven, so we maybe get some dev's to work on this! :good:
Cheers!

I've already contacted the devs that made the previous mods. No reply

Use this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nqk.vibratemodeextended
And in settings allow all contacts in alert slider > priority
Works for me

If some dev happens to read this I'd love to have more features with the slider. For example best for me would be Normal - Flashlight - Silent etc.
Let's hope someone does this
There's already one xposed module (Alert slider) but it's old and not supporting op3.

for me VibrateMode works perfectly...

Cmon Devs
Get this App working again... guess the most out there would be willed to donate u money for bringing this feature back.
This shouldn't be that hard for a Coder, since the device sources are out :-/

Same issue. When sliding back down from Silent to All, it remains in Vibrate :\

I can confirm Tasker works, and should remedy the issue of it remaining on vibrate. I'm now waiting for a way to reverse the slider, and I'm sure a free solution will come along soon enough too.

I can confirm this work!!! Now just an option to revert.

Are you sure it works? I have tried all the builds and I'm pretty sure this build was the closest as it worked correctly. However, every so often it doesn't go into vibrate mode or doesn't restore the volume level.

[Q] No notification vibration

Hi everyone. I installed the Liquid JB ROM last night and so far, it's been good. The only problem I've encountered is that my phone doesn't vibrate when I receive SMS in both sound and vibrate modes. It will vibrate for calls though.
Since vibrate mode is what I'm usually on, I'm hoping it's just a setting I may have missed. Any help?
Thanks!

Open up MMS, hit menu-settings-then scroll down to vibrate, it mostly likely says never. Change that
If that doesnt help check the settings under display and sound.

[Q] Set phone to vibrate ONLY when screen off?

Is there a way to set my phone to only vibrate when the screen is off?
If I'm using the device I can see notifications as they pop up so I do not need the phone to vibrate constantly. I have a GS5 on 4.4.4

I want an app or a way so the only time my phone vibrates for notifications is when the screen is off. I do t want it to vibrate if the screen is on when I'm using the device as there's no point I can already see the notifs.

I thought android had greater customisation than iOS, so far seems like the opposite. I mostly just needed this option for whatsapp, as it's annoying when I'm browsing or even whatsapping someone else that when someone else is whatsapping me it keeps vibrating.

Well why don't you just deactivate vibration in notification bar if you don't need it and vice versa if needed?

[APP] [4.3+] Hold Back To Kill [ROOT]

Here is an app that allows you to hold your back button to kill the currently open application.
If popularity is high enough, I will update it with things like whitelist etc.
If you use a Samsung device, the only problem is that you can't show the MultiWindow bar anymore. I will work on a fix for it. I only made this because xposed doesn't work on Samsung Lollipop yet so this is what I wanted until it is. Once it works, I prolly won't ever touch this app again.
Thanks everyone!
UPDATE:
- Performance improvement
useful, thanks for this!!!!
Great job! I've been missing this feature since I switched to Lollipop. Thanks!

Hello, CM12 with standard navbar (3 buttons) doesn't have that setting. It s only implmented in roms with navbars with extra settings like opening an app etc etc

I'm having a similar problem where even a single tap on the back button is closing the app. I have a rooted Galaxy S4 running Android 4.4

So this is happening when using the navbar and not the physical buttons?
It seems like the up action isn't being triggered. I could try to implement maybe a double click back to kill option. Ill try to debug on my 5.0 emulator that uses the navbar and see if i can figure anything out. Weird how that's happening.

Hm, I truly don't know then. I really would need the device in hand to test with. I could try to do testing by sending you a file with loads of debug information in it. Would you mind that?

[APP] Custom Slider - Root & Xposed required

Hey guys,
I present you my Custom Slider app , which can be used to customize your Alert Slider on the Oneplus 3, Oneplus 2 & Oneplus X.
OOS and AOSP based ROMs are supported, but currently the OOS Community Build 3.5+ is not supported!
Please provide feedback / ideas / bugs / complaints!
If you have any further suggestions/bug reports please have a look if it already exist in Custom Slider, Features & Bug List (offical confirmed) and if not please add them to Custom Slider, Features & Bug List Suggestions.
NON-ROOT users:
If you just want vibrate instead of priority and some other volume profile options, check out @Seveilith's notification slider app.
It does not require root / xposed for the main functions!

Hey guys,
i know there are already two apps to customize the alert slider on the Oneplus 3,
but i worked on it since i got my Oneplus 3 & therefore i want to present it to you anyway.
I also wanted to combine resources with the other developers but i did not got any response.
So here's my alert slider customization app, which is currently designed for the Oneplus 3 on Oxygen OS.

Before i created this App i created an application which dont need root & xposed but can only replace the priority mode with vibrate mode

I will try to do this app for CM too, but this is a completely different system, so the first thing i need to do is flashing CM on my phone (which is not a dev phone, its the phone i use daily).
But first, and sorry to say that, i want to make the OOS version work as perfectly as i can do it.

Great application.
I am using it to switch network modes on the fly now. Always wanted this. When I get out of the house, I switch to the top position that turns Wifi off and connects to LTE. And when I am trying to save battery, I switch it all the way down that is 2G only.
Ideas:
Profiles/Multiple actions mode. Something like this:
TOP POSITION: Choose what things you want on or off
Wifi Bluetooth NFC LTE 3G 2G All Notifications Vibrate
MIDDLE POSITION: Choose what things you want on or off
Wifi Bluetooth NFC LTE 3G 2G All Notifications Vibrate
BOTTOM POSITION: Choose what things you want on or off
Wifi Bluetooth NFC LTE 3G 2G All Notifications Vibrate

I have disabled the alert slider to change notifications now, so is there another way I can manually switch between Priority/None/No notifications now? Like we can do it from the volume down buttons on AOSP?

Hey!
Good to hear guys are coming from the Oneplus Forum to this Thread
Thats something i wanted to do initially. The problem is, that there are so many cases that i need to consider (Top Ring, Mid FlightMod, Bot Vibrate e.g.), where i need to do stuff when leaving another position. E.g. when leaving Top Ring, i need to store the ringer volume, for coming back to top. When going to Mid Flightmode i need to keep the volume as it is and so on. There are so many cases and its hard to handle all. But i will definitly try to do it in the next versions!

Interactive lockscreen notification questions...

I never thought I'd say this, but coming from an iPhone and I feel like Apple actually has the better notification system. Is there a trick with EMUI to get notifications to be able to open from the lockscreen? I don't want to have to go all the way in to the app to reply to a text (stock app) or email (Google inbox). It seems as though you can do nothing with the lockscreen notifications besides look at them. I'm talking the main screen by the way, not the actual notification screen. Please help a returning Android consumer of you can. I'm hoping there's just a setting somewhere I'm missing to get this to work. Thanks!
Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
Maybe this?
Yea I get the notification on the lockscreen, I just can't do anything with it other than double tap to open the respective app. With the iPhone, I can reply to a text or email directly from the lockscreen without ever leaving the lockscreen.
Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
If you install/use Textra instead of the stock text app, I believe you can reply directly from the notification.
Yes that's the route I'm going to have to go. Thanks for the replies...Stock just doesn't do it.

FYI, I have noticed one strange oddity when replying to texts directly from the lockscreen in Textra, vs. unlocking the phone and replying: when typing in my keyboard (I use Swiftmoji), press & hold on keys doesn't work. For example, to do an exclamation point in this keyboard, you press & hold the period, which brings up the exclamation point, question mark, etc. Press/hold doesn't work. But if I unlock and continue my reply, it works.
Personally, it's not a big deal to me to unlock the phone and reply from the app, except when the phone is sitting on my desk. I'm not really sold on the rear mounted fingerprint sensor. My phone is most often laying near me face up.
