[Q] LRX21O vs. LRX21Q - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is the difference between these two releases?
Some ROM developers are deciding to go with LRX21Q which is the official build for the Nexus 9, not the Nexus 5.
For Nexus 5, LRX21O is the official build.
Just curious, thanks

[Q] Multirom

Hey guys! I have a Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) and I am going to try to use multirom. My question is when you get multirom and you go to install it your only choices are Android 4.4, stock 4.4.1, 4.4.2, or Cm 11. Since I am running the PAC-MAN rom I am confused on which to choose. Any help would be great!

[Q] Android 5.0 Lollipop Release?

Hello.
I wanted to know, if Google posted yesterday release version of Lollipop https://android.googlesource.com/platform/build/+/lollipop-release is it possible now to flash Nexus 5 with the same image which will be sent OTA? Are there any of completely original images at the moment, without derivatives and ports from other devices/versions?
Thank you.

[Completed] Can I update my rooted Nexus 7 (2013)?

Hi I am making this new thread because I have recently rooted my Nexus 7 (2013) and everytime I turn on my tablet a notification pops up and says systeam update downloaded and if I press install it turns off my tablet and instead of installing it puts me in team win recovery project. I am wondering if there is any way to update my tablet without losing my root I also heard that 6.0.0 recently released so I am intersted in installing it Lastly if I install 6.0.0 and it slows my tablet's performance will I be able to downgrade my tablet and if yes how? I am running on Google Nexus 7 (2013) 5.1.1 lollipop.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
You need to flash a stock recovery, and probably unroot (or preserve root), to continue.
From your device's FAQ:
If all you do is root or unlock the bootloader then you will continue to receive OTA notifications from Google. Please be aware that root will be lost if you don't preserve it through your SU app.

Finally, there is a way to downgrade, but it seems the only surefire way is to downgrade with the stock fastboot images, and that takes you far back:
> Nexus 7 (2013) > Nexus 7 (2013) General > [GUIDE] Factory Image Posted-Return your Nexus 7 (2013) to stock
Can then build yourself back up with these OTA's, applied in order:
> Nexus 7 (2013) > Nexus 7 (2013) General > [REF] Nexus 7 (2013) Stock OTA URLs
Any questions, you can ask in any of these threads.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

I don't think you can just use old binary blobs with new android. You have to somehow make them work with a new Linux kernel.
