So I installed a Xperia Z3 rom on my Xperia C, and I didn't liked it. So how do I go back on my stock ROM?

i figured it, the reason you cannot update is because there's no 11.3.A.2.13 update released for the stock version you have flashed.
if you have a copy of your old build.prop before you flashed that rom, you can use it to trick the pc companion into thinking you're in another region and allowing the update

impossible if there's no 11.3.a.2.13 on my stock rom because i saw that in setting - about phone build number has change to 11.3.a.2.13, then i downgrade again using flashtool because i wanted rooting my phone. now i can't upgrade again to my unrooted phone using PC Companion or Sony Update Service
Hello. My xperia m2 says that there are no updates and the phone is up to date but it's with android 4.4.2. Theres 1 secound delay in the sound when I play games or use downloaded apps like youtube also the audio doesn't sound very good. To fix that I need to update the android version but I cant. I connected the phone to my computer and updated it with sony PC companion but the version is still 4.4.2. What should I do? I don't want to use flashtools or anything. I think it's the phone's fault for that and I should give it back to the place where I bought it so they can fix that. The phone is brand new and they already changed my camera because it wasn't working. So what should I do?
I suppose it has to do with the Country of your phone and/or if it is branded. IF after using PC Companion it's still with 4.4.2 I'm afraid your best (and only) option is to use Flashtool. Not sure how it works if it is branded though, you may need to to something to be able to de-brand it.
Well, actually try first to check if 4.4.4 is available in this way:
- Dial *#*#7378423#*#* (*#*#service#*#*)
- Check the number in Service Info/SW Info/Customization version. You just need the xxxx-yyyy part
- Downdload and install Flashtool (it's small. You just need it for checking)
- Run Flashtool
- Go to Devices/Check Updates
- Select your phone double clicking on the id xxxx-yyyy you have got before.
- If the version is 18.3.C (like the one for 3 UK) there is no 4.4.4. the latest ROM is 4.4.2. It must be 18.3.1.C for 4.4.4
My is branded from T-mobile, and i flashed CE ftf to debrande, everything is good except i don't have extra apps that T-mobile puts in. As i know your safe flashing ftf cos it's official Sony's software, just using Flashtool instead of PC Companion and you won't lose warranty, as long as you don't unlock bootloader.
Good Luck.

Do I install the flashtool on my computer or on my phone?

Obviously on the computer. It's needed to flash the phones from it. Just google it, you find it immediately. Then if you decide to flash a generic 4.4.4 FTF just search around. There are dozens of guides in the Internet.
Alright thanks for your support guys
Hi all
I have a Sony Xperia C Android phone, running Android OS 5.01 (Lollipop). When I went to check g.co/WearCheck it says "Yes! Your phone is compatible with Android Wear" BUT when I go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.wearable.app to download the software, it says "This app is incompatible with your device." so now I am stuck with a Sony Smartwatch 3 that I can't seem to sync to my phone.
Any suggestions or ideas? I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to download the software; maybe there's a way to sideload it?
Is this Lollipop ROM that I've installed by @iSiddharth not really Android 5?
I can't see any reason why the browser check confirms it is compatible but Google Play says it isn't?
for starters, the "5.0.1" rom, is a 4.2.2, its just themed to look like Lollipop.
Hello, i got a nice Sony Xperia X10 mini with Android 2.1 update 1 and want to update to any Android 4.4. So i choose the PureSlim R4 for Robyn with the Pure GoogleApps for my phone.
But i cant work with FlashTool 0.9.22.3 i cant root my phone. I got the errormessag: ERROR - Illegal key size or default parameters. With SuperUser and SuperSU both the same result. How to install a new flash then? Do i need an older version of FlashTool? All tutorials are with links for flashtool in GitHub. But this links are broken.
Thanks for every hint to get a newer rom to my phone. USB Debugging is activated of course.
I would also like an answer to this as just found two of these in a draw at home so would like to get a newer rom on so th kids can have them.
How I get update software for my phone Xperia xz SoftBank? It still on android Marshmello
You can use Xperia Companion to update XZ Softbank. I use XZ softbank too and I have tried update via Xperia Companion and its working just plug your XZ to your PC or laptop then open Xperia Companion, just wait a few second then it will tell you there is an update.... or you can just flash FTF firmware... but in global firmware you can update it via OTA.
