[4.1+][App]How to let the APP 100% move to MicroSD or USB OTG device by LetsGoApp? - Android Apps and Games

USB OTG Helper v6.6.1 download
EaseUS Partition Master download
MiniTool Partition download
Attention: You create your MicroSD partition must be carefully ! The MicroSD have write times life,if you over-write it。
Whether MicroSD or OTG,it's strongly recommended to choose SanDisk(High Stability)。
Other brands may be formatted in EXT3/EXT4 after the end of the fault。
Because of the way the change management program on Android 4.0.x,in the past,a convenient APP-APP2SD has been unable to run。
As Link2SD, although App can be moved to the MicroSD,but to choose the APP is limited(Not all can be move)。
On the other hand,Link2SD only can move the /data/app and /data/dalvik-cache these folders within the APP,but not all App's data。
LetsGoApp is generated using mirroring source on desktop shortcut, when the APP is moving to a MicroSD,the Android system will rest a link icon。
Because it is a linked icon,It takes up very little space(just like as Windows Desktop's Icon 2~5kb),it is really to storage in the MicroSD to executing。
In addition, the LetsGoApp has more powerful functions is:
1. APP can copy back to Phone ROM through LetsGoApp。
2. LetsGoApp can move the APP to the MicroSD or USB OTG,that You will not use the Phone ROM。
3. Direct to mount 2nd Partition-EXT3 or EXT4。
Through LetsGoApp, the APP still can update/uninstall from Play Store。And just need to click create the link or remove the link, that you can easily move between the ROM and external MicroSD。

You don't need high speed memory card,I just use for general(recommend CLASS 4 above),and there is no any compatibility problems。
Have been tested MicroSD: Transcend 16G、Kingston 16G、SanDisk 8G.
OTG: Transcend 32G、Kingston 32G、SONY 32G、SanDisk 32G.
Actually!Whether the memory card or OTG recommend to SanDisk and SONY 。
Other brands failure rate is too high, that maybe fault after formatting。
Prerequisite:
1. The Phone/Tablet had been ROOT,and support Memory Card or OTG connect function。
2. Get a MicroSD and then create 2 partitions。The 1st partition is FAT32、the 2nd partition is EXT3/EXT4,and set Avtice at 2nd partition(example:32GB)。
3. A PC for Windows OS。
4. A memory card reader for MicroSD(the USB OTG can connect computer)。
Get a MicroSD card : Create/Format partitions:
1. I have to reset the MicroSD and create 2 partitions(1st-FAT32、2nd-EXT3/EXT4) to let the phone to mounting it like as internal ROM,so....
download EaseUS Partition Master Free (Pressing Here Get Download)and install it by computer。
P.S: If you choose EXT4 please download MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition, because the usage are the same, that I am not otherwise specified!
2. Make sure connected the MicroSD,and executing EaseUS Partition Master to Create Partition :
be careful to make sure what the MicroSD ID is yours!do not click to wrong target such as Hard Disk(C: or D
Creating FAT3 for 1st partition and create as : Primary。As for FAT32 size decide yourself, and then click OK。
(The 1st partition-FAT32 could create it bigger to use . such as:photos、movies)
Creating as Primary and EXT3 for the remaining space, and click OK !
Right-click and set Active for 2nd-partition EXT3,and then Apply it :format EXT3 need more time, and waiting! After finished, take the memory card connect the phone。
Install APP - BusyBOX :
P.S : If the storage device is OTG,that you have to installing one more APP - USB OTG Helper by here http://www.letsgoapp.net/?cat=28。
Installing/Executing BusyBOX by Google play Store。
Install LetsGoApp :
1. Installing LetsGoApp by Play Store。https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tseng.lets.go.app
Introduction UI :
1. Main.
2. Vice-Spinner Showing.
3. Menu by menu button.
Finally, all of the above steps results will be presented on the
4. App list。
2. Press the "Menu" key select "Mount SD card 2nd partition" and follow the instructions to reboot again.
If you mount ext3 patition not reboot by LetsGoApp for MicroSD ,Please use Hot reboot
If the EXT3 partition can not to be hang it up,temporarily use the APP-LINK2SD mount EXT3 partition
The APP - OfficeSuite Pro for example : click vice spinner - ROM,and to show all APP of phone。Find OfficeSuite Pro from the APP's list, and then click it once, the move order will be start to moving to MicroSD。(Does not recommend moving the system built-in program)。
After finished, click vice spinner - SD,there is a APP - OfficeSuite Pro has been copyed into the MicroSD。Why I said "COPY", because the sources APP - OfficeSuite Pro still has within the phone's Rom(Back to ROM,that you can see it)。So now,I have to delete the sources APP - OfficeSuite Pro of ROM,and then Linking it from MicroSD。Finished above steps, this is a complete process。
For details please see the following my steps :
First of all, click OfficeSuite Pro,and then choose Remove。You can go back to the ROM to make sure, when you remove it has been finished。
Click OfficeSuite Pro again, you will find the remind message just is not the same with before。The before is : " Excute、Remove、Cancel ", but now is : " Install、Remove、Cancel "。
Now! I click " Install " to let the APP of MicroSD to be link with Android。
Then will remind : Link source from ? Of course is SD card,my goal is to save space on my phone, the APP is stored on the SD card to perform。
You will get message to remind you need to quick reboot(Hot Reboot) once, after the linking is completed。If you have many APPs need to link, you can first press Cancel, and then repeat above steps after all the moving was complete, finally to quick reboot it once,it will save time and has efficiency。
After rebooting, LetsGoApp can auto run and list Apps Menu。If you did not mount SD card, relative ! the APP's icon will Gray, because the APP was disappeared。
You can click Setting -> Storage and check.
You can discovery , Your phone's ROM is saved.
You can run App through LetsGoApp.
OfficeSuite Pro is easy to run.
Let APP install to ROM from the MicroSD or USB OTG:
Example, there are some APPs,that I want to use。LetsGoApp can installation directly from SD card copy back to my phone's ROM ,the function can sharing among users。Users can choose the APP of the OTG or MicroSD, and move App to the phone’s ROM.
In other words, LetsGoApp can move and execute APP between OTG/MicroSD and phone’s ROM. There are more choices, You can move APP from phone’s ROM to the other external storage。
Now example for Candy Crush within MicroSD to pressing “Install“。
Click the button “ ROM “,and you can move the APP to the phone’s internal storage " ROM "。
After moved, the system need be reboot once。
Removing MicroSD after reboot, the Candy Crush can be execute from phone's ROM,and there is not any different to download from Play Store。
Emancipation Your Phone Space,And Enjoy It ~~~!!
Above steps looks like a lot more。Actually! It is very simple,I just hope that described in detail has been enough,so writed some more。
Thank you for watching。

Free Memory to > 1Gb!
How to Increase your Internal Memory Size with very low effort!
NOTICE: This method works both on Rooted and NOT Rooted Phones!
You simply need to meet three easy requirements:
Stock Firmware installed on the Phone (custom ROMS not supported ...They don't need to!)
A microSD with two primary formatted partitions inside (the former 'to FAT32' and the latter 'to EXT4' filesystems)
Ready to Flash to your Galaxy Mini via Odin
NOTICE: The following Black Box Howto is explained deep inside in post n. 2 and from post n. 52 to post 54!
...
Click to collapse
Last Year, on December 18, I started the quoted thread for Galaxy Mini, showing a tweak useful to Increase the Internal Memory Size on Stock ROMs simply switching the data filesystem to the second partition of the microSD...
Benefits and disadvantages of this tweak are fully explained and discussed in the quoted Thread.
Question: Why I'm posting here, then?
Answer:
I received requests about tweaking the FIT boot images too...
I studied the FIT kernel vs Mini one and figured out that they are pretty equals (actually they full-match each other but only few stuffs related to post boot hardware detection)
I tried and made few images for FIT, which are shared in post n. 56 of the quoted thread, but - owning a Galaxy Mini - I was not able to test them...
...till now...
...
Angry about that and waiting for beta testers for them, I compared deep inside Galaxy Mini and Galaxy FIT...
Surprise: If I call them TWINS, the mistake is not so a mistake:
...At Kernel Layer they match each other...
...the bootloaders call the kernel at same memory address...
...boot sequences via ramdisk completely equal...
...system libraries are exactly the same...
...system software and leftovers too...
The only hardware differences don't really need to modify the boot sequence!
THAT'S ALL: I simply tested the FIT images on my Mini and they ends up and running...
THEY WORK!
What's Now?
I'll not repeat the Flashing procedure with Odin - you can read it on the quoted thread - but here are the FIT boot images actually modded and shared:
PDA=S5670DDKT3
PDA=S5670DXKPB
PDA=S5670DXKT4
PDA=S5670JPKQ7
PDA=S5670LUBKP6
PDA=S5670LUBKPI
PDA=S5670XWKTI
PDA=S5670XXKPQ
Your firmware is not listed? ...let me know!
Obviously you need Odin and Ops file ready for your phone model and not the Mini one...

How does it Work:
Scenario 1:
I switch on the Phone, without a MicroSD slotted in or with a microSD with a single FAT32 partition (broken or damaged microSD also suite this scenario...); GingerBread boots as usual!
No Difference!
Scenario 2:
I switch on The Phone with a microSD slotted in (with the second partition formatted as EXT4 filesystem but still EMPTY); Ginger boots acting as if
/data
is completely moved outside to microSD but just WIPED (not true obviously, and the original /data is safe inside the phone), so it resettle it from beginning...
NOTICE:
...If your second partition is 1Gb wide...
...your new Internal Memory will be 1Gb wide...
Scenario 3:
I switch on the Phone with the second partition of the microsd (EXT4) up and running (already resettled up for use and with my userdata on it); Ginger simply boots with
/data
moved outside to microSD with your userdata there and tons of apps just installed from the market...

NOTICES & ADVICES:
If I want to remove the microSD from the slot, FIRST I NEED TO SWITCH OFF THE PHONE!
When I install apps from the Market, Ginger Misunderstands the actual new Internal Memory SIZE and puts the apk files to External Storage anyway! I simply need to move them "to the phone" via "Settings menu" immediately after!
When I switch on the Phone without the microSD, I boot using the original /data inside the phone, actually loosing all the apps installed onto the external one untill next boot with SDcard; and, of course, loosing my sms stored there and others personal userdata too.
Unfortunately this boot image heavy conflicts with Link2SD (great app anyway!), so you must choose one: This Boot image or Link2SD... not both... sorry!

SD Make-up!
When you get true internal memory size even after tweak, something went wrong while making 2nd partition on SD...
You should first check How you made the second partition on your SD Card...
You can resize the first one (FAT32) or start from scratch (two new empty partitions); anyway, They both must be primary and the 2nd must be EXT4 newly formatted (mandatory).
If you feel you've done right, you could check what's happened with an app I just wrote to check the 2nd filesystem for errors. You can find it here; it's a Beta Version but fully working...
Read carefully the post and, eventually, give it a try.
P.S. It seems, otherwise, that you shoud partition your SD out of the phone (USB or MMC adapter needed). Actually Everybody who asked me for the same troubleshooting, solved it using Minitool Partition Wizard on Windows or GParted on Linux, BUT acting on the SD outside of the Phone!
P.S.2 No need to flash again! If the phone booted, the image is up and running fine...
I used USB, opened Mini Tool Partition Wizard, wiped all the SD, Apple, made a primary FAT32 partition, created a primary ext4 partition, Apple, waited till everything is over and that's it.
The problem remains the same.
Again flashed PDA S5670XXKPQ = (2.3.6) and same problem again.

MicroMax Canvas 4 Stock Rom Rocks Spice mi 535 Pinnacle PRO

Dear Friends,
I am porting MicroMAx Canvas 4 stock rom to Spice mi-535 Phone. One of the reader has expressed his wish and I just compiled from my sgtored data.
It is AROMO based and almost all credit goes to AntoBarre, whose rom was downloaded by me from the www.needrom.com site.
You find below some the screens shots.

The Rom is uploaded to Google Drive: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bz8Fgu4wkBnqQ3EwRUd4eXJraVk/edit?usp=sharing
Installaion procedure:
Please back up your previous ROM, Data and what all you wanted to save yourself in case if something goes wrong.
1. Download and copy the SPICE-MAX ROM .zip file to your external sdcard.
2. Wipe all data , system and catche
3. wipe dalvik catche
4. Install the ROM which you have down load and when it boots up wait for some seconds or one minute.
5. Now If you do not want wait more than 2 or 3 minutes you can remove the battery and re start your phone.
Then phone immediately will start with update screen.
This is pre rooted one
Enjoy.
Thanks for keeping my request. I am going to flash this ROM. Just curious. All the features of Canvas 4 is working? like blow to unlock?
Please list all the unique features in this rom. So that users will be motivated to flash this ROM.

1. After installing this rom go to storage and see the changes there.
Your external sdcard will become your internal sdcard. If you are using 64 GB, then the entire sdcard can be used as internal and if you are fond of games, it will be faster and there may not be any lack.
The external sdcard will show a storage close to 2GB only. Hence you have to delete the storage to getback your 16 GB internal storage.
Before deleting, be careful, and read belwo:
As internal and external sd card has changed its positions, some times, you may not notice your earlier internal sdcard after phone storage.
you simply save the contents of the internal sdcard ( that one displayed as external sd card - some time only about 2 GB satorage will be shown), either using ES file manager or after usb debugging, you store in your laptop/desktop.
Now Erase this storage, after copying if you need otherwise do not bother.
Do not erase your external sd card ( that is shown as internal sd card in the display)
Now you will get back your 16 GB internal storage.
Now you can use this to store your apps and data or you can store in your actual external sdcard.( which is shown as internal sdcard here).
You can register your SPICE 535 as CANVAS -4 and get the services from Micromax, if you want.
APEX settings is available to ease your operation and change what all you need as per its limit.
In my personal one I have also used Touchwiz.
Use Xposed Installer and gravity box and make your phone equivalant to any other so called top class phone.
I am yet to analyse the advantages over other ROMS. But this one I feel is better than the stock SPICE Mi-535.to my experience and taste.
The quality of photo is good as equal to Micromax 13 GP one.
If you meet with any problems please write here.

HOW TO CHANGE imei IN YOUR MAX OR SPICE
puduraja said:

Dear Reader,
I am getting questions about how to change IMEI and IMEI is invalid how to correct it.
Open ES explorer / Root explorer or any other tool and make your phone system to accept read and write. Norrnaly I use Android Root Tool kid. Open the tool kid and go to Remount option and in that make the System ----> read / write and (rootfs) read/ write. Also try to save your root.
I thought of using the reply channel to give the simple tutorial here.
1. Remove your battery and look at the scribes there. You will notice IMEI numbers there.
2. Just write down these numbers in a sheet. or store it in your system desktop.
3. You should have rooted phone.
4. Goto play store and install Mobileuncle MTK tool.
5. Open the mobile uncle tool and scroll to Engineering mode and click it.
6. Go to MTK section and click it.
7. You find Engineering mode pop up at the top and below it you notice the row with different section.
8. In that section you just slide and tap the connectivity section.
9. In the connectivity at the column below you touch CDS information
10.In the pop uo you tocuh the Radio information and you will get pbone 1 and below that phone 2.
11. Now you touch phone 1 and in the popup you touch the AT+
12. Once you touch the Key board will pop up. In the key board you type any single letter and cancel only the letter you have type.
13. Immediately you can notice the scribes that is required for you It looks like AT+EGMR=1,7""
14. you touch the first row and after 7 you can notice the simple "" and in that two inverted commas you delete one at the end.
15 after deleting that, just type the 15 degite number you have written down in the point no 2 here.
16. Verify your typed numbers and close the inverted commas "
17. Then touch the row which says SEND AT COMMAND
18. Once the pop up display indicates AT command successfully send.
It is all over for one of your sim, you have got the valid imei number.
Now repeat the same for phone 2.
This exercise is not required if you have saved your IMEI number using the same Mobile uncle tool. This tool has IMEI backup restore facility.
Just use that facility and back up your imei number not only in your mobile keep a copy some where in your laptop/ desktop.
If you have already saved and backed up there is no need for the above exercise.
thanks.
I have downloaded
I am yet to try due to off.workload

Note:
If you need I have a set of mixed S4,Xperia N9500 and Note 3 Roms cooked to suit the Spice Mi-535 and I am using it. Now and then some problems arises if you can be able to manage those minor corrections yourself then I can port this custom ROM that has partly Android 4.3 ROMs, 4.2.3 ROMS with basic Spice rom. It needs SPFT flashable nvram.bin to get stock network and Mac back again.

[Patch] Disable internal sdcard

I was going to release this as a ROM, but as you may know Rox is pretty busy these days so he hasn't replied to me yet to my request for permission to fork CM11 (if you're reading this, don't feel offended and take your time!) so I chose to reward the DIYers by releasing the differences from it... and of course devs that share my view of the ideal ROM will hopefully reuse them ~
So yes, this is basically an expansion pack for CM11. After downloading the sources, just before `brunch codina` you extract the zip over them.
What does this do anyway? What's included?
The main feature is that partitions 8 and 9 (sdcard/UMS and preload/HIDDEN) are ignored. You can completely delete them and get a 3 GB /data partition for ART or whatever. Unlike swapping storages (or not swapping them!), this doesn't confuse apps written with only one media partition available.
Camera photos, your songs, OBBs and ASECs from apps that use them, archived apps, ... all go to the card you can always remove from the phone if you want to sell it or need service (keep in mind though it's not 100% sure that nothing on it never ends up on NAND), likely formatted in FAT32 with loads of multiplatform undelete tools available, easy to swallow if you feel the CIA is nearby... (do not try this at home)
There are also some other minor tweaks that I consider a core part of my Android experience, see the text file in the zip for more details or just read this box ↓
Code:
External SD only (on sdcard0) with [STRIKE]ASEC, apps2sd,[/STRIKE] OBB, camera, card hotswap, mass storage all working
/preload disabled
device/samsung/codina/overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/xml/storage_list.xml
device/samsung/codina/rootdir/*
device/samsung/u8500-common/common.mk
packages/apps/DeviceSettings/src/com/teamcanjica/settings/device/fragments/AdvancedFragmentActivity.java
packages/apps/DeviceSettings/res/xml/advanced_preferences.xml
BUG: Mass storage mode creates an empty drive, I suspect this can be fixed by playing with the LUN setting in u8500 boardconfig
"battery saving" profile limits clock to 800MHz
device/samsung/codina/rootdir/*
200dpi default resolution
device/samsung/codina/system.prop
Default screensaver after 2 minutes
device/samsung/u8500-common/overlay/frameworks/base/packages/SettingsProvider/res/values/defaults.xml
Browser autocomplete window size increased
packages/apps/Browser/res/values/integers.xml
So if you want to have a look you can grab it there!
Good job!
However i have two suggestions:
1. You should separate "storage" part from other tweaks... It's great that we have somebody with creativity but not everyone wants to apply all that tweaks (and even less will want to separate that tweaks from storage part (considering that potentially interested in your patch are very few in count)
2. Do you have github account? is "githubish" version of your tweaks?
I played a bit with storages in that overlay (storage list) some time ago, but no success on that time... so i'm really interested in those changes.
When i try to compile stock OC kernel - i had to repartition my long time used custom partition scheme. And then i tried to recreate it without UMS partition but it ended with "no sd card" issue (you cannot take pictures for example) after memory swap... So i need something like your patch, but i don't have time to separate it from other tweaks...

1- Just remove all the unrelated files, I listed the names for a reason (to leave maximum clock at 1 GHz, in device/samsung/codina/rootdir/init.samsungcodina.rc you can see 2 pairs of lines near the end with "scaling_max_freq" to be removed)
storage_list.xml → the highest level part, basically defines the functionality of settings/storage
fstab.samsungcodina → remove internal SD, change voldmanaged= part of external to match mount name in storage_list.xml, if you didn't rename it just change "sdcard1:auto" to "sdcard0:auto"
init.samsungcodina.rc → remove 3-line block related to internal SD, edit name and paths to fit previous configurations
u8500_common → remove swap option from build.prop
AdvancedFragmentActivity.java → remove swap feature from NovaThor Settings
advanced_preferences.java → remove swap option from NovaThor Settings
2- Nope, I don't know how to use git (or any equivalent) and if I was to add the extreme confusion of configuration files assembled from multiple places and quite illogical arrangement of stuff in the sources to a friendlier but completely different system as seen in the repos...
(and github doesn't seem to offer what I would be most interested in - highlighting differences from a previous version)

github is quite logical and well organized . Beside of this, it would be easier to manage your patch when files that you modified will be modified by @Rox or other TC member: You will have to make your patches again or accept that their changes will be overwritten by your patch...
When you click on last (or any) commit you'll see the difference in code it made, btw.
And I try to implement your changes to github code as a commit (should be easy if the sources weren't changed in the meantime).

Just checked a little better, there is a problem with ASEC creation (vold doesn't create disk images claiming something is mounted read only), cheap workaround is to use Link2SD or `pm` to force everything to install to internal storage
@judas1977 I think I found the problem, I should have confirmation in 5-6 hours
Ok, I'll wait for the info...

keeping all other changes I sent you, in fstab try changing the microSD line (sdi0[...]mmc1) so that it ends with noemulatedsd

# Recovery only
/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 /boot emmc defaults recoveryonly
# ZRAM

I haven't managed to try it on last evening's Omni or CM11 as they both got stuck on bootanimation and I can't say if it's this mod or something from 4.4.3 still unpolished...

There is patch only for disabling internal sdcard or i have to apply patch with tweaks?
Thanks

Hi!
As I see, TeamCanjica has changed the structure of the init scripts recently, so the changes you've made in "init.samsungcodina.rc" have to be applied in "u8500-common/rootdir/init.u8500.rc"

(1)Foreword.
LetsGoApp can execute all the other Apps on OTG and MicroSD(not install). Therefore, it can effectively solve the problem of the shortage of ROM of the portable device and to easy backup your Apps.
The LetsGoApp is an application aimed at solving the shortage of ROM’s applications for portable device. It often happens when a portable storage device has been installed a large number of applications in it.
Because the manufacturer’s limit, Android’s users frequently may meet the following problem:The ROM is not enough! There are 3 ways to fix this issue :
First, pay extra money to buy a better Smart Phone for more ROM.
Second, remove unwanted data or Apps to release more space.
Third, synchronize data with the computer .
There is a better way , LetsGoApp has solution of ROM at portable devices.
NOTE:According to user choices, there are different Third-Party Apps for mounting the OTG and MicroSD.
The User Guide will be elaborated.
(2)What should I prepare?
Preparing a MicroSD or OTG device, you must to create 2 partitions(1st-FAT32、2nd-EXT3) and formating it by EaseUS Partition Master. The partition steps for both MicroSD and OTG are the same.
Step 1:Creating & Formatting patition.
(A). Installing EaseUS Partition Master for Windows.
Download by: http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm
(B). Right-click on the OTG, and choose “Create partition”.

(C). Setting size 3 ~ 5 GB or more for FAT32 as 1st-partition, and Create as “Primary”.
(D). Setting EXT3 partition for over space, and Create as “Primary”.
(E). Right-click on the EXT3 and choose “Set active” ,then “Apply” it.
(F). Removing the OTG device after the work is finished.
Step 2:Rooting Android.
Each portable device has different ways to Rooting Android device. Please google, and then rooting your portable device.
HTC’s device need S-OFF. Samsung S4 use OTG for Android 4.3↑, You need close KNOX .
Android 4.4 need fixed SD card write/read permissive
Step 3:Installing the Applications – BusyBox、USB OTG Helper and Link2SD.
First of all, you have to installing BusyBox for Android by “Play Store”. User can choose USB OTG Helper or Link2SD to mount the OTG or MicroSD. We recommend to installed both.
(A)BusyBox:
Touching “Install” , then “Smart Install”.
(B)USB OTG Helper (If you use OTG)
Please download by http://www.letsgoapp.net/?p=241 , then installing USB OTG Helper and mounting with the OTG device. There will be a notice of 2 drives mounted to complete. If it is not. As long as reboot Android Device, and repeat the above steps.
Remind! You must to downloading USB OTG Helper by our provided!
(C)Link2SD (If you use MicroSD)
Selecting the sector format-EXT3 of your MicroSD’s second partition, then Reboot device.
(3)Operating Instructions for LetsGoApp.
This chapter will be explanation run all the other Apps on OTG or MicroSD.
NOTE:Make sure created and format 2 partitions(1st-FAT32、2nd-EXT3) within MicroSD or OTG .
Step 1:About User Interface.
There are four UI controls :Switching the storage device of target by 1.Main&2.Vice-Spinner. Showing 3.Menu by menu button. Finally, all of the above steps results will be presented on the 4.App list.
Step 2:How to use LetsGoApp with the storage device – MicroSD or OTG?
(The operating steps for both MicroSD and OTG are the same, this example is for OTG.)
(A)Touching the option “Phone ROM” of Vice-Spinner to show the App’s menu list, and you can choose the target to moving .(For example:Candy Crush Saga)
(B)After finished, you can touch the option “OTG” of Spinner, and select “Remove” for Candy Crush Saga.
Remind! This is removing the App from the Phone ROM, not OTG.
(C)Pressing Candy Crush Saga again, and “Install” it.
Remind! This step is linking App to Android Device, not copy App to phone ROM.
(D)Touch the button “Cancel” to retune to step(A), to move the other Apps if you have needs. After all of the moving work is finished, and then touching the option “Quick Reboot” to rebooting by Menu button.
(E)After rebooting, (Fig.1、2) the application “Candy Crush Sage” can be run by LetsGoApp and Android Desktop. Conversely, (Fig.3) when the OTG device is not mounted, there is only unlinked icon to show within Android Application Manager.
(4)To Unlink the App’s link from MicroSD or OTG.
Actually, maybe there are many storage devices, and then sometimes must to be replace. Therefor, the replacement behavior perhaps cause the application update fails or recognition errors.
(The operating steps for both MicroSD and OTG are the same, please follow example steps for OTG.)
(A)Pressing Menu button to show the menu list, and then release link from storage device.
(B)Pressing the option “OK" will unlink for APK.

Q:What the Android’s version has supported, and portable device brand can be supported by LetsGoApp?
A:For now, LetsGoApp stable supported for Android v4.1.x ~ 4.3, and continuing to support for all class.
Q:What is internal ROM and portable storage device?
A:The ROM is an storage capacity within portable device, that has limited by Manufacturer’s specifications. The portable storage device is MicroSD and USB On-The-Go.
Q:Before run LetsGoApp, should I have to install the Third-Party application first?
A:Exactly, and must to downloading USB OTG Helper from LetsGoApp official web.
Q:How to Rooting for portable device?
A:Please go website and google to see how to rooting your own portable device.
HTC’s device need S-OFF. Samsung S4 use OTG for Android 4.3↑, You need close KNOX .
Android 4.4 need fixed SD card write/read permissive
Q:About MicroSD and OTG’s specifications, whether there is limited?
A:User can choose capacity and brand, but recommendation for the brand withMicroSD is SanDisk.
Q:The OTG’s temperature is always high. Is this is correct?
A:Yes. It’s useable.
Q:No the other methods to solve?
A:Actually, there is suggestion for this problem. You can use SanDisk’s MicroSD for storage device.
Q:How to solve of USB OTG Helper to mounting with only one drive?
A:You can check busyBox install has completed. The other way, you can press “mount" twice or let the portable device reboot, and try again.
Q:Can I hold the portable storage device use for mobile phone for more than one?
A:Yes. This is the concept of LetsGoApp.
Q:How can I plan the space of partitions? Can I still storing private data into the partition FAT32?
A:YES. For example:Photos、Videos、or be Storage Disk to use for PC, and then storing for all of your private data. As for partition-EXT3, it is to store for applications. Anyway, space size with personal preferences.
Q:Can I still update within portable device from Google Play Store?
A:Yes. But the portable storage need has been mount.
Q:Reading a lot of above for user guide, I confused still. What is the point of LetsGoApp?
A:In fact, every day we have to face a lot of data. These including photos、videos、music and the increasingly entertainment features of Apps. What the better solve method is a important problem, wherein is LetGoApp lets you develop a personalized storage device, and then run with it, that just like as a portable Cloud.
Q:About “LetsGoApp", it is look like as Link2SD.
A:Yes, but not almost for all. For example with MicroSD:The program only run App by Link2SD from the single portable device. If there are more than one with mobile phone, that is not allowed to share of the applications with each other. But now, LetsGoApp was already to solve this problem.

[APP][ROOT] USB MASS STORAGE Enabler v1.6

This app is to enable Mass Storage Mode for mounting your Memory Card as a USB Drive in Computer from your rooted device [Android 4.0+]..
It does not mount internal storage, and it will not work if your device doesn't have External Memory Card Support..
Download Link:
UMS Enabler (Universal) v1.6.2.apk
(can also be downloaded from XDA Labs)
(click here for older versions of app)
Steps to Enable UMS:
1. Connect phone using USB cable to Computer or TV or DVD/Audio Player or Mac (or even to other phone with OTG) or whatever.
2. Open the 'UMS Enabler' app and press 'Enable Mass Storage' and give it root access.
(Try 2-3 times if it doesn't work the first time itself)
3. Before disconnecting USB, eject from Computer and then press 'Disconnect Mass Storage' in app.
If it doesn't work, go to App Settings and choose the required settings, and try again.
Avoid using memory card from phone when in UMS mode..
Screenshot:
View attachment 3935226
Note:
This will work only if there is USB Gadget support in your kernel..
It is recommended to unmount the memory card from Settings->Storage before enabling UMS, to avoid issues.
(Not required if you don't make changes in memory card from computer, that is, if you're just using for read-only purpose.)
And remount similarly after use. (required only if /dev/block/mmcblk1 is used, instead of the particular memory card partition mmcblk1p*)
Testers, please try and reply.
If it works, please leave a reply with your device model & ROM (and custom kernel if any) in which it's working so that I can make a list of working devices.
Hit the Thanks:good: button if it worked for you..

Changelogs :
To Do in Future:
* Reduce app size
* Automatically start app when USB is connected
* Create Notification when UMS is enabled, to unmount it easily.
* Force Mediascan after Unmount
* Add Dark Theme
* Enable ISO image mounting by selecting a compatible image.
* Find a way to enable ADB alone (in insecure mode)
* Switch completely to my RootShell class from Stericson's RootTools
Click here for latest changelogs: https://github.com/GokulNC/USB_Mass_Storage_Enabler/blob/master/Changelog.txt
v1.5.1 (25-Aug-2016):
-- Added Notification when UMS is enabled to unmount easily.
--fixed this bug in Advanced Settings
-- Removed the AsyncTask which caused high CPU utilization (to get USB Connection Status). Will use a BroadcastReceiver for that in the next Version.
v1.5.0 (21-Aug-2016):
-- Updated to Material Design by @vikasb32
(No changes other than UI)
* Report bugs if any
v1.4:
-- No need to manually unmount memory card (only required if memory card device block (/dev/block/mmcblk1) is directly used, instead of the particular partition mmcblk1p*)
-- Added Advanced Settings (in options) to choose the LUNs and partitions blocks manually from an automatically optimized searched list..
If you're choosing mmcblk1p1, you no need to unmount/remount from Storage Settings.
If you're using mmcblk1, unmount is required.
(Similarly for vold blocks, choose the right one.
For example in my phone, if there are 179:64 and 179:65 in /dev/block/vold/ , 179:64 refers to mmcblk1 and 179:65 refers to mmcblk1p1 )
v1.3:
-- App now automatically checks for External SD Card and presence of FUSE drivers.
-- Partial fix for devices in which it appears as CD Drive in Computer.
-- Properly Handled Exceptions and added Warning messages
v1.2:
--Optimized Code to remove stupid hackarounds & Fixed Bugs
--Added 'Help' page
--Used ProGuard (app size reduced to 34KB)
v1.1:
-- App now automatically disables SE Linux Enforcement thanks to @out386's idea
-- Added option to unmount Mass Storage
-- Changed the background to black
F.A.Q. :
1. "There's no drive for Internal Storage, only the memory card is there."
Solution: This app does not mount internal storage as UMS due to certain restrictions.
(The Internal Storage is actually present inside the /data partition which is formatted as EXT4/F2FS.)
This app can mount only the memory card. (You can try the USB Sharer app (link at bottom) for that purpose.)
2. An empty Removable USB Disk appears, upon clicking which appears "Please insert disk".
Solution:
Go to Advanced Settings and try using some other device block if any..
Also, make sure memory card is
a. inserted & formatted in recognizable file system format like FAT32, vFAT or exFAT.
b. not encrypted / adopted as Internal Storage (Since Android 6.0 Marshmallow, by which it's formatted as an EXT4 partition and encrypted).
3. It shows up as a CD-ROM or DVD (Optical) drive instead of USB (flash) drive, upon clicking which appears "Please Insert Disk / No Disk Inserted".

The kernel needs support for this. Most stock kernels only have USB-emulation, some stock kernels only have CD-emulation. None of the stock kernels have the ability to switch between the two, that's why a custom kernel is needed. A number of CyanogenMod kernels have support for this.............

4. "It's working, but the drive is mounted as read-only."
(This issue was reported for Asus Zenfone 2)
Solution: Actually, one of the main purpose why this app needs to disable SE Linux is to remove the write-access restriction on memory card.
There might be occasions when even after setting SE Linux to Permissive, the memory card is mounted as read-only drive. In that case, follow these steps:
i. Unmount the memory card from the Storage Settings.
ii. Now 'Enable UMS' and see if you have write-access.
iii. After disconnecting USB, remount/mount the memory card again from Storage Settings.
5. App Force Close: "Unfortunately, app has stopped".
Please send the logcat.
6. "I've tried everything possible & I'm helpless" :
Solution: You can also try this if there's TWRP recovery for your device:
i. Boot into TWRP recovery & connect to USB.
ii. Select the option 'Mount'
iii. Click 'Mount USB Storage' (or something similar).
If that didn't help, you can also try the similar apps below:
Alternate Apps :
If this app doesn't work, there are several other alternative apps (by other developers) you can try:
(Might require SE Linux Mode set to 'Permissive')
1. Multi Mount SD-Card ( Lite | Pro )
2. USB Sharer ( Free | Full )
3. SD Card as USB Drive ( Free )
4. DriveDroid ( Free | Paid )
(Only to mount ISO/IMG files to PC using UMS)

Libraries Used :
1. RootTools by Stericson
2. Material Drawer by Mike Penz
3. NoNonsense-FilePicker
4. Firebase
Works perfectly on my LG L90. I don't have to deal with this stupid MTP anymore. CyanogenMod 11.
From my understanding this will work only if you have external sdcard storage.. ?
Working on my S3 Mini (CM12 ROM by Maclaw) with hard method.
Need some options (like unmount UMS/MTP),but finally I can use UMS on my device!
Thanks!
How is this different than the xposed module "HandleExternalStorage" which enables writing to the external SD card?
phone reboot immediately hit soft mode & empty (0bytes) partition on hard mode
onePlus One, 5.1.1 flexOS

Yes, this will mount external sd storage only..
Internal storage is actually EXT4 format and is present in /data/media

There's an option(button) for MTP.. You can use that.
I will add an option to 'Unmount UMS' soon

That module enables read/write operation on memory card for all apps by editing /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml (I think so).
But this app is for enabling USB Mass Storage to mount memory card to computer directly like a flash drive..

This works only if there's memory card in your device.
One Plus One doesn't have external memory support I think.
Thanks mate this is awesome its working on cm13.0 no need to download selinux enabler because its already on permisive
Version 1.1 added
-- App now automatically disables SE Linux Enforcement thanks to @out386
-- Added option to unmount Mass Storage
-- Changed the background to black
Thank you so much, this app works great on my LG L90 Official kitkat :good:
It perfectly works for me on my Galaxy Note 4 (N910F) on Emotion Rom R2.1 (Note 5 port) even with soft method
My only problem is neither my A/V system and my TV cannot recognise it and this would be my main need of this :/ Any solutions?

If it's working in computer, then it should work everywhere..
Maybe wait for a minute or 2 after connecting to TV see if it detects.
Try both soft and hard method..
Also, trying in some other ROM might help.. (Not sure though)

I thought that too.. But either my TV and my A/V system recognises flash drives immideately :/ I tried another TV (a smart one) and this one wrote some failure messages with it :/ Thanks though I hope it will work in the near future somehow.
Works well on LG G2 Lollipop
Thanks

This app is for mounting your External SD (Memory Card) in Mass Storage in your rooted phone..
It does not mount internal storage, and it will not work if your device doesn't have External Memory Card Support..
(And this app automatically sets the SE Linux Enforcement to 'Permissive')
Note:
This will work only if there is FUSE driver built-in in your kernel..
(I'm currently working on installing FUSE drivers for phone with kernel which doesn't have it.
Until then, I'm leaving this app as 'Beta'.)
Download Link:
Universal USB Mass Storage v1.1.apk .
Steps to Enable UMS:
1. Connect phone to Computer or TV or DVD or whatever.
2. Open the 'UMS Universal' app and press 'Enable UMS' and give it root access.

About dang time! Just the app I needed! Woot Woot
thanks thanks thanks x999999999999999999..........
i'm using Motorola G 2014 LTE Rom Mokee 5.1.1
Will it work on Android 6.0.1 on sprout4?
Since this only mounts the SD Card, will it work if I had used SD Card as internal storage in Marshmallow?
I just want it mounted, I've got other programs on Windows that can support/read ext4 filesystem drives.
BTW External SD is encrypted and formatted to ext4 filesystem, when SD Card is used as internal storage, so even if it can mount it, using that program to read ext4 filesystem, can I actually access my SD or will it be unsuccessful?
One more, can I install OTA updates without errors if i used this?
Thanks.
Don't work in Glaxy Note 3 (N9005)
