And here the rooting process for XOLO TW800.
Firstly , download "Kingo Root" - http://www.kingoapp.com/
Enable USB Debugging,
To do this go to Settings and then Developer Options and then enable USB Debugging.
Then connect your tab to your computer using microUSB cable.
Then open the KINGO ROOT app on windows and follow the instruction.
You are all done.

HELP.. Can you provide me with the recovery.img file of the rom of this tablet.
I need recovery.img of the stock rom of this tablet. See if you could help me anyhow. I would suggest, if you rooted you could make a backup using flashify or twrp(apps only don't install these mod., not needed, just install apk and make backup and please share it with me.

You need drivers before using this. Just google 'enable adb drivers on nvidia based android tablets' and install drivers within 2 minutes by this easy process. Also, I need help if you sucessfully root it, please share recovery.img which is a part of the stock rom, if you could anyhow . Thanks to you too.

No need for any special kinda driver but though am not sure because on my own pc I have a couple of drivers installed . When I used my friend's pc for testing it again . I just insalled general ADB drivers . That was all I did . :good: Hope it helps . and sorry for the late reply . Things were messed up!

Yeah! iRoot worked . But at the time of the post iRoot didnt worked but now it works so its cool!
I can also confirm that kingo root worked for me. Just Fyi i have flashify backup of the stock recovery for xolo play tab 7 if its of any use

Well, seems the tablet manufacturer has no drivers. Win 7 detects the tablet but cannot find any drivers. Guess I will have to wait till someone comes up with one.

uninstall unlock root
put the tab in mtp
install unlockroot
run it as administrator
connect cable to pc
now put the tab in debugging mode
click root it should detect

Working root iball i1017!!!!
Step 1: Activate USB debugging in your Slide
Step 2: Activate MTP - USB to PC connection
Step 3: Connect to Slide to PC (Mine is Win 7 Professional)
Step 4: Unzip and unrar all the files in the driver zip file. Click here to download the ADB driver zip file.
Note: While unzipping my Antivirus showed alerts and removed few files.. so i had to disable my antivirus temporarily..
Step 5: In your Windows PC >> Device Manager >> Right click over i1017 >> Update driver >> Browse my computer for driver software >> select the unzipped folder and update the driver
Step 6: Install Kingoroot (Its FREE!!!)
Step 7: Open Kingoroot as Administrator.. Kingoroot will automatically download essential driver or files necessary
Step 8: For me Kingoroot showed that the device has been already rooted.. So, i clicked the "Root again" button.. Your slide will reboot and u can see Super SU installed!!!
i think you can unroot using Kingoroot if u want to claim your warranty..

What Android version are you currently running.
The screenshot shows 2 very basic possibilities
1). you have not enabled USB Debugging from Settings -->developers option Menu of phone
2). the drivers installed are not working,
check the usb debugging option and then try again, then try using different USB Port of your pc/laptop.
Use search option as this ADB error should already have been covered 1000 times here.

I have tried many solution for adb errors from inetrnet but all useless.
I am running android 4.1.2 version of android on my karbonn A27.
I am also able to run internet via usb tethering from my mobile to my pc
I have enabled USB Debugging. If driver are not running why tethering is working.

Hi friend you exactly have the same problem as I had. I too have the same phone . the thing is your phone is not recognized by root tool not because of the drivers it is due to vendor id (vid) of manufacture. The vid is not present in the android_winusb.inf file which is present in path android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf as well as android_usb.inf at path C:\Users\karthik.kolanji\.android\android_usb.inf . I am attaching both the files...

"without root I can't change r/o to r/w" BUT " without changing r/o to r/w I can't root my phone"...I am stucked..please help me

I did few extra steps
1] Configured vendor id in adb_usb.inf located in C:\Users\karthik\.android
2]Configured drivers code (extracted from Device Manager i.e; hardware id) in android_winusb.inf located in Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver
Managed to root with these steps:
Here's what to do in case you still haven't managed to root your device:
1. Download and install latest ADB drivers from here (make sure you have USB Debugging on)
2. Download and Install the latest Root Master. Google for VROOT and it should be the first link, or just click here
3. Disconnect your phone from pc, open VROOT, connect your phone (USB Debugging must be on) once your phone is detected it will show the model number
4. Click the green button in the bottom right and wait for the app to do its thing and you should see the tick and A27 ROOT once its done and your phone should reboot, you'll see an extra app in your drawer called superuser after reboot.
5. To confirm root install Root Checker from Play Store to confirm root.

This is permanent root. Does not disappear after reboot.
Procedure:
Install all drivers.
Go to settings -> Developer options -> USB debugging, and tick the box next to it.
Connect phone to USB through computer.
You should see a notification saying USB debugging connected.
Extract the motochopper file and execute the file run.bat
If you see a popup on screen asking to grant permission, click grant. Device will automatically reboot.
After reboot, open the Super Su app and update binary.
If you need busybox updated, you have to manually update it.
Done! You are now rooted!
Unroot:
To unroot, open Supersu app and go to settings. Scroll down and click permanent unroot. After the app closes, reboot.

Use the 4.1 SDK. But not sure if that will help. You can try the following.
1.Retry another USB port. Before that Activate search for windows update for new devices.
Or
2.There is an universal android driver somewhere on the internet.
Or
3.try killing adb server using cmd

No restarts at all. I'm facing signal issues and GPS weak signals. Not sure of its just me.

i already mail to flipkart for repalcemet and they are shipped new device and i waiting for same.

Battery drains as it keeps connecting back to network after few secs on network drops. I've noticed.
Downloaded the file from pdanetDOTco .I can't post the link as I just joined and my total post count is less than 10. I will give quick summary of how I did it. I downloaded the file and installed in my PC.it ask to choose the device from a list.(chose'others')then connects my device in USB debugging mode.it detects the device and installs the driver automatically from internet.done. actually its a tethering software but most of the devs use this for installing device drivers.
I didn't found any issues from my device.just the battery doesn't last a day but that's OK coz I do play heavy graphics game continuously and browsing.

Are you on a 2g Network? or 3g?
Right now I'm in 2g network.
actually guys i already know method how to root my phone but i am facing some kind of problem.
like.
1.when i connect my phone to computer and i click install drivers file automaticly it always take a process n then it say drivers can not be install
2. when i try manual drivers method-control panel-device manager-other devices there are 2 type of directries and both have mark of ! .
3.when i open unlockroot click in root it said you device is not connected..but my device already detect by moborobo.
4.i ask my 1 friend for help but he is saying to me drivers are preinstall in your mobile but my phone have not.so i download it aprox 8mb pakage in rar but its not working.
now tell me what i have to do ;(

download adb and installed the adb usb drivers, that should do the trick. also it looks like its has android 2.3 gingerbread, you can try this Method instead if you can get the usb working. (download the link on the second post, its a apk so install it from your phone.

hey i knw what u shud do looks like u cant install adb drivers........what u shud do instead is install adb drivers via PDAnet......its a software which will download adb drivers for u when i was new to rooting i cudnt install adb drivers myself so i used PDAnet......download PDAnet sotware I'm bound to post outside links n i dnt hav the link on xda so u can search it on google.......I hope it helps.................. n ohh please hit the thanks button afterwards......!~!

Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right place to post but or if it a repost(tried searching but no result here and sorry I if it is a repost.),
I am just sharing a tool that I found online to root the Karbonn A27+.
Just enable USB Debugging Mode and connect the phone to your PC and let it install all the drivers.
Then just click on "Next" on the GUI.
It installs a KinguserApk in English which allows for root permissions and changing it to SuperSU does not work and I loose root.
Hope this helps.
