[Completed] [Q] Xperia P drivers not installing - XDA Assist

Heres the entire story which i posted as question but havent recieved a reply yet. Hope someone checks this and helps
OK i ve been trying to flash a new custom rom on my Xperia P, i looked at a number of guidelines and doing things step by step.
Since im very new to this i downloaded a few Roms. I was following the guide "http://droidors.com/2014/07/08/update-xperia-p-lt22i-to-android-4-4-4-kitkat-with-slimkat-custom-rom/2/" and everything was going fine. I reached the step to "fastboot flash boot boot.img", i did that and then went on the next step to boot in CWM Recovery and install the zip rom and the Gapps. During the Zip Rom install i got status 7 error.
Now, i noticed that i might have flashed the wrong Rom so rechecked the guide and installed the correct Rom which is mentioned in "http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/p-development/rom-slimkat-4-4-2-release-candidate-t2657795" . But now THE PROBLEM IS, AFTER I FLASHED THE INCORRECT IMG, MY PC IS NOT RECOGNISING THE XPERIA P SAYING IT DOESNOT RECOGNISE THE DRIVERS, therefore im not able to copy the ROM Zip on the SDcard, to then run it from CWM.
Please help.
After sometime i tried the below
Ok, now i tried to flash the stock Rom through this link "http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/p-development/ftf-firmware-xperia-p-generic-world-t2322163", through flashtool to bring my phone back to life. I installed the drivers as per instructions from drivers folder, but for some reason the pc is just not accepting. I did install through this exact method yesterday night and it worked perfectly.
Please suggest. I hope im asking at the right place.
Urgent help please
I forgot to mention, after I flashed the SlimKat Rom, and things went out of hand ( till this point i could see Slimkat logo at boot and could also go in CWM Recovery ), I tried to restore through Nandroid Backup i had done. As soon i selected the restore option and then the backup file, within 2-3 seconds the phone went off, and then on boot all i can do is see "SONY" on screen. Nothing else happens.
Kindly advise, im stuck with no spare phone.

[Completed] Xperia Tablet Z Recovery Issue

Hello,
( If I have posted this incorrectly, I appologise.
It's not very clear on the best place to put this, since I can't post on the actual guide thread yet )
I've just finished following the guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295694)
It has definately flashed the recovery, which is great.
However I cannot boot the recovery using any kind of key combination.
The only way I can access it is by booting into the current stock ROM, and using the CWM ROM Manager.
My issue is that if I want to flash a different ROM (AOKP when I figure this out), if the ROM fails and won't boot, I can't get back into recovery to fix the issue or re-flash a different ROM.
I don't want to end up with a bricked device.
I've done a lot of reading and can't find any potential solutions...
I'm more used to flashing Samsung devices
Thanks for any assists!
I suggest you to go here and send your problem here, because you cannot post to Development threads:

I'm sure someone will find a solution to your problem
just a little help: Have you tried to re-flash recovery,
Or go to read this page => http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2295694&page=3 ?
It says that only manual boot to recovery from system works for SGP311 devices. / / Most probably because event definations are different for keycheck
Thanks to my colleague @Abhinav2 for this link
For remember, At XDA-Assist we are here to help you find your way throughout the forum not to troubleshoot issues.
Thanks
Thanks for the response
I haven't tried a re-flash as yet.
It looks like a common issue so I was wondering if there might be an updated kernel I could flash...
The link you gave looks like it's shortened (with ....) so it doesn't work
I'll try posting again in the thread you suggested.
Thanks!
Ok, no problem and good luck

Please, how to solve that problem? Now, I do not care which version of Android will be there... I need only call from the phone... Thank you very, very much!

[Completed] Why doesn't my sony xperia s lt26i respond to any suggested method of updating?

Hi,
i'm running Android 2.3.7. on my Sony Xperia S LT26i, and despite all the advice and directions i've gotten here (Installing flashtool and downloading the jellybean firmware and following all the step by step guides) it still doesn't seem to work.
My phone responds to NOTHING i've done so far exepting for 2 things...
1. Kingroot no longer pops up when i launch a new app. I think i have successfully disabled it. But i'm still unable to update the binary for Supersu, so it still isn't working like i suspect it should.
2. My phone shut down and refused to switch back on for about 3hrs or more.
One thing noteworthy thing is that Flashtool will not recognize the Jellybean firmware i downloaded from the links i get here, or any other firmware i found for my phone and downloaded. Even though i put it in the c/flashtool/firmware folder as instructed.
Please help me.

[Nexus 6P] Stuck in boot animation after Flash The Factory Images (Return To Stock)

Hello to all the community, I am a little new in these topics but nothing more than guided me by instructions and a little intuition. I have followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
In step 10, I've done everything I asked to format my nexus 6p. What I wanted to do, is that my Nexus 6p install root and TWRP as recovery. The problem is that, when trying to update my system to a new android version (from system configuration and update), the update was downloaded and the phone restarted, but when it restarted it sent me to the TWRP recovery and it did not let me install it, so I decided to find how to delete the TWRP recovery and format the phone to remove the root and I ran into that guide that I put above.
So, I followed all the steps in step 10 except the part where it says "block bootloader", so I have the bootloader still unlocked (thank goodness), install the angler 7.1.2 and restart the device but now I'm stuck in the boot animation (where there are circling circles and random things).
I ask for your help, which is the most expert topic I know about this. This was the topic I found to ask for help, if it is not the right topic I ask you please move it.
Thank you!

Thanks for your answer. I already solved it, at the end of the guide I did not follow a step and that's why I could not start android. So before finishing everything, install TWRP recovery and opened it to clear cache / dalvink and it worked normally. The strange thing was that I installed version 7.1.2 in image but I get 8.0.0 in android. Well at least it works. Thank you as well!
