Hi Guys. I don't know that this the right place for this thread or no. sorry.
i have a xperia v device and its rooted. i installed philz touch cwm 6 on it and when i wanted to install cyanogenmod rom on it i wiped everything first, but in the middle of the installation it gave me this error: your device is mint. [status 7]
when i turned off the phone, i did everything to enter the recovery mode: pressing vol+, pressing vol-, holding vol+, holding vil- and...! but no fortune
and now when i turn it on it shows me the SONY logo and then a black screen.
I found the solution to [status 7] error, but i need to enter the recovery mode fisrt.
So please tell me, is there any other way to enter the recovery mode on rooted xperia V?

First of all, I'd like to say thanks in advance, I'm kind of overwhelmed with this so any help would be gratefully received.
I wanted to install a custom ROM on my rooted Xperia Arc (LT15i). I installed ROM Manager and CWM on it, then i entered in recovery mode by using adb commands and i tried to install the ROM. Nevertheless, the process did not go well because now the phone gets stuck in Sony Ericsson welcome message and I can't enter again in recovery mode using adb commands besides I can't enter in recovery mode by holding buttons. So, what can I do?
It has solution??

By the way, what is the exact way to enter recovery mode in this certain mobile, because i have read few different things on the internet...
A) Hold back button and then power ?
B) Hold volume down and then power ?

PS: I made a backup before installing the ROM, It should be possible to recover it once i enter the recovery mode, right??

I am the owner of an Thinkpad Tablet, 16GB, 3G, Fw "...0132_WE".
I followed the instructions from this thread to install the clockworkmod on my tablet:

No errors reported, everything worked fine. But i can't enter the CWR Mode (starting the device with Vol+ pressed). The device just boots normaly. System is workich normaly too.
So whats going wrong?

I am sorry, i was confused because I also own a Lenovo A1 107. When entering the recovery mode of the TPT you don't have to HOLD Vol+ - just pres is as many time as the display says "entering recov..."

I installed custom rom CM11 to my Sony Xperia SP to make it KItKat 4.4.4 and i Followed everything in this link which i am not being allowed to put by XDA, but the website is ibtimes.com and its about installing cynogenmod 4.4.4 kitkat to sony Xperia SP. (Please search it up)
I did not unlocked the bootloader and directly rooted the phone via KingoRoot (One click root). I followed everything else written in that blog. In the end it said reboot the phone and it will take some minutes. The phone never booted after that. Its not starting, black screen.When i press VOL UP+pwr button blue light flashes in the bottom and upon pressing VOL down+pwr button green light flashes in the bottom but the phone does not switch on, not even sony logo appears.

Hi guys, i'm in trouble i flashed one recovery s/w on my sony xperia l , now my phone is not showing anything .. No notification lights.. No volume up and down button doing any action.. My phone starts with a vibration - which it used to.... additional info: "my phone has no OS installed, and I flashed "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.3-quincyatt.img" after this, my phone is not showing anything...previously... TWRP was installed & blisspop OS was running.... but, It was not able to flash cm12.1 or cm12 so I changed recovery software to "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.3-quincyatt.img" ... now phone itself is not starting...when I press power button it vibrates for some milliseconds.. & it all black nothing happens.. not even "sony logo" displays"

status now:
**No OS installed (as I wiped data in order to install CM12.1) and phone is not showing anything not even "sony" logo. **when I press volume up/down button it's not coming to recovery mode or boot loader mode...

If your device is not recognized on your pc, have you instated usb drivers for your device? If you're having problems ask in the thread I linked you to. They are the experts on your device.

I have Infocus M2 4g (India). I rooted the phone and tried to install custom recovery using an app called Flashify, unfortunately I installed the wrong recovery i.e. recovery of some other model ! Now the phone doesn't start, it does not start when I press and hold the power button. I tried to hold vol. down with pow button and the phone's logo screen started for about half a second and then it turned off again. The notification LED is working but the colors are weird it is like a disco light with mixed colors! I can't even get into recovery mode now as it doesn't have proper recovery installed. Is there any solution for this please Help !!!
