Hey guys I just got my new Moto G 2nd Gen. I haven't rooted the phone and Im facing some issue.
When I use skype or normal outgoing or incoming call , Im not able able to hear the voice from other end but the other end person can hear the voice clearly. When I reboot my deivce it have no problem and works fine. again after sometime say 4-5hrs later again I do face the same issue. Anyone please guide me through if they have the solution
Possible a Skype problem still I will recommend to Be sure weather it is problem of the device or Skype, try using other messaging apps because I use hangout on my moto g and i never faced any issue, try handfree while on Skype, also try a small experiment by downloading previous version of Skype and clean install it. hopefully it will resolve this issue........

I'm in USA with my G tablet/Vegan. Wife is in Australia with laptop.
We're using Yahoo Messenger.
I can see and hear her perfectly. She can see me, but has a lot of trouble hearing (sometimes fading, sometimes static, etc). We have tried approximately 10 times over 2 days. Always the same result.
Is it likely:
1. the microphone in the G tab? (EDIT....I just tested my microphone with sound recorder and it works well.)
2. the internet connection speed at one end? (I would think this would affect us both?)
3. the messenger app doesn't work properly for G tab?
4. anything else it could be?
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone using Messenger. Have you had this problem? Have you solved it? Have you found a better video chat app? (fring and skype haven't worked for me)

I purchased my OPO two months ago and it was fine even in the call section. I love this phone but recently i have been facing a problem. When i place a call or recieve one then the person om the reciever's end is not able to hear my voice clearly. It's too low and sometimes my voice is also distorted. I have tried flashing various radio zip and also updated my phone to 05q, i came back to 44s and still i am having the same problem. I Googled it and i saw that some of the users are also having the same problem. When i reset my phone this problem gets solved but as soon as i download some apps.. I again start facing the same problem. It is quite frustrating.. Other than this.. This phone is too good. Please guys can u help me. Is there a way i can get rid of this?

hmm no replies. anyways i fixed this .. it seems it is really a big issue for oneplus one, they call it "robotic voice" and the fix is really simple. disable the "ok google" feature and delete your voice recording on it as well.

However i can send voice message via whatsapp. What could be the problem?
I have dropped my phone a few times so maybe someting broke.

People tells they can't hear me , as if I was talking under water ...
If someones knows how to fix it.. tell me.
Two new updates came since this problem appeared, but they didn't fix it.
Sometimes restarting my phone fix temporarily the bug, sometimes not

I had the same issue after the update.. But this solved my problem
Turn off the okay Google detection in the Google app by going into the settings of Google app.
This was the simple solution for me and it worked for me. May be it will also work for you..

Hello I am also facing this problem voice is not clear on phone calls but WhatsApp n other app works well for call. I really don't understand weather opo has done something to solve this problem. Can we get fix soon.

Hi, I've got some kind of problem with my Mi4c microphone. During calls no one can hear me if I don't use the loudspeaker option, and when I try to record something it's really quiet. I've tried stock ROM, cyanogenmod 12.1 and 13.1. Does anyone know what may be causing it? And what's the fix? Thanks in advance.

Same problem here. It started after updating CM 13.1 TS to version 20161007.
