Gamestream lags like hell when connected to BT controller - Shield Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
recently i bought an ipega 9023 bt conroller, was so excited to gamestream with it however i encountered a problem. I have a Tenda W316R router which i know it isnt anything extraordinary, but when i tried to stream via limelight at 1080p,60FPS without controller it was performing really good.
Now here is that problem, when i pair ipega with shield the stream becomes completele unplayable and that is even for 720p 30 fps and about 5mbit bandwidth. When i tried nvidia gamestream it wasnt that bad but still awful.
If i disconnect controller during session then problem dissapears.
Now im trying to figure out if the problem is caused by ipega or the router.
Any ideas pls?
Thanks in advance!

I had major input lag with my Moga Pro on this tablet, I picked up the Shield controller though and it fixed all my issues, it works and feels so much better then all of the other controllers as well.

Yah im ecpoeriencing the same problem with a ps3 controller, dont get me wrong i defimitely would love the shield controller, because i do have the shield portable and still love it, but hopefully w get some kind of fix

[Q] Will this Wired PS3 work with TF101?

Hi All,
I have TF101 ICS latest update, not rooted. I had XBOX wired controller, no luck with that, without doing proper research I ordered a "Wired Shock Game Controller For Sony PS3 " now I hear every one is talking about a wireless with pairing using a cable and remove it to use the BT once paired. Can any one tell me how to make my wired PS3 to work? It is still did not arrive hence I don't know if it works or not.
I have second thoughts to see if I should message the seller to get a wireless ps3.
I don't own a Play station I am buying this exclusively to play Shadowgun on my TF101.
Any help much appreciated.

One phone two pads, one game

Hi all,
Got myself a SGS3 and am dabbling with the controller input app Joy center, using it mostly for xbox 360 controller input.
For the most part it works great, although L3 and R3 don't respond, it's still good.
My question is, is it possible to get a two player on the go using this app?
I've tried with a mock ps3 controller (wired) and an xbox controller wired, but it only allows one input at a time.
Does anyone have any hands on experience with this as of yet?
I know it's possible with bluetooth via the six axis controller app, but i don't have two ps3 controllers laying about, i do have multiple wired xbox 360 controllers so that's why i'm asking.
I also have the official mhl cable, but that's another story.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
PS: Not sure if anyone else has yet seen these beauties (well not the prettiest but still cool)
Announced at e3, should be out in the autumn.
Finally a dedicated BT controller, works on all v3 + devices.

Game Controllers

What are you guys and gals using as far as gaming controllers. I have a PS3 and Xbox One controller at home. Just wondering if either can be easily used with the Tab S. Just purchased Modern Combat 5. So far I've played it on the G3 and Nvidia Shield.

controller recharges the tablet
is it possible to connect the controller (that has a battery pack) to the tablet and recharge the tablet?
eg. can a xbox one controller, that has a battery pack, be connected with an mhl cable/usb cable to a tablet and be used to charge the tablet?

Finally figured it out...just in time for my trip!
I ended up buying the Red Samurai controller from Gamestop for $15.
I am able to connect and use with retroarch. Just needed to install the free app, Bluez IME. Takes a bit of configuring but once it's set, the controller works flawlessly.
The app and retroarch even has a reconfigured profile for the controller.

Great suggestion. I'm thinking buy the Moga Pro but this is cheaper and it is more similar with PS controller.
Can you tell me if you can play in emulators such as the PSP emulator?
Has anyone tried an original xbox wireless controller with the receiver connected to the usb (via adapter)? The receiver seems to has power,
but the controller wont connect. PS3 controller works though.
my xbox controller doesnt work, as others have said. so how would I go about getting a ps3 controller to work? is it a wired one and can i pick up any cheap ps3 controller?

The sixaxis app does recognize my ps3 controller (afaik there are only wireless with optional cable), but only with cable plugged in. Bluetooth does not work, though the controller
has the right master adress.
Ok the problem seems to be the pairing. If paired from the tablet, it wont work... if paired from the pc, it works.
see I know sod all about the ps3 pad, I dont even know what pairing on the PC means or how you would set it up...
Hello!
Did anyone connect SteelSeries Free controller to the Tab S? I'm thinking about getting one and I would like to make sure that it will work.
Trying to pair red samurai wireless tablet controller with my tab s
the bluetooth can see the device, but when i select it to pair the device with my tablet, it asks me to confirm the PIN code for the device, which is displayed when i select to pair. But it fails to pair every time because I don't see any dialog box or anything pop up to enter the PIN code to pair successfully.

red samurai controller (GameStop)
Using the red samurai controller with all playstore emulators works well but with a little lag between button press and action.
BTW GameStop has it for 8 bucks and the tab recognizes it via Bluetooth no problem

The PS3 controller is the best way to go for me...
I bought the red samurai for $8 also just to play emulators..
The controller paid with no problems and I was able to map all the keys but the lag from button press to In game action was unbareable
The PS3 was fussy to set up but it's more 1to1 responsive..

Sent from my SM-T700 using XDA Free mobile app
If you are using the red samurai v2 you do not need blue imz, it should just work.. or at least it does for me. I also have not noticed any input lag even vs a usb controller I was using over usb otg until I decided I wanted to be able to charge and use a controller at the same time. I have also used the same red samurai v2 on my win 8.1 htpc just for testinf and it paired right away and worked with near 0 input lag.
Im just using sixaxis controller
Using a ipega 9023 version 2 with the red buttons ......awwwweeeessssooommeee

I installed bluetooth autoconnect and then bluetooth terminal which is in wears Polish or Russian or so but I used it to scan for connecting devices and it saw the device... then went to bluetooth settings in tab s and it stood there ready to pair with !!! Me happy !!!

Stick of Truth controller

I'm having trouble getting the Shield Controller to work at all while playing The Stick of Truth. All other games I've tried with it work fine. My DS3 controller works fine with it as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Gamepad for Mi 9T

Hey guys, I have some problems when I try to use a gamepad to play with my Mi 9T. I tried to use a Xbox 360 wireless control connecting the wireless receiver to my phone, it doesn't work. Although, I tried another wired gamepad and It doesn't work too.
I want to know if anyone has these problems and found out a solution to use a gamepad to play on the phone.
The wired gamepad I try to use is Marvo GT-016
I have same problem with mi9t pro. I tried with xbox one and 360 controller wired.
Ps4 pas works perfectly via Bluetooth
i am using GameSir-G4s
it is perfect for this device, playing all retro games without any problem. even it has holder or phone that fit right into it.
this controller
Edit: I have big hands and it fits good.
i modded a 8bitdo zero 2 for better ergonomics (mostly like a gameboy) for emulation of nes/snes/gb*/etc. works wonderfully, its easy to carry, and not tiring on hands after hours of gameplay.
