Hello everyone and sorry for my english. I recently tried several applications to decrease the CPU clock of my phone, but it all just lowered the value of the core1, leaving the other 3 core intact. Does anyone know how to undervolt all 4 cores together?

Here's A Fix
Go onto the App Store and find an app called AnTuTu CPU Master. It will lower the clock of all 4 cores automatically.
Also this app undervolt only the core1

Hey guys I used to have a HTC shadow and I found a pretty usefull tool!! Its called tornado power control(link: http://www.modaco.com/content/smart...nload-discussion/237427/tornado-powercontrol/ )
Anyway it could underclock the CPU when you slide down the keyboard and overclock the CPU when you put it out from sleep. Is there any similar program for HD 2? You can reserve a lot of battery if the CPU runs on minimum and gain its power back when you put it out from sleep!! In tornado there where 3 levels.... low usage (where you could set it to 100 mhz for example) medium (which was active when you put it out from sleep....set it to 150 mhz for example) and full where you could have 240 mhz or something! so any ideas?

no its not the same...tornado used to run in background and auto scale CPU (autoscale with CPU speed you choose!) . Leo cpu speed is not working properly. I set it to 320 MHZ (with autoscaling off)...and the device is working as good as when it works at 768. I remember when I was using xscale on my eten...I used to underclock from 530 mhz to 460 and there was a huge diffrence!!

Install setcpu and see your default speed. You can try system panel also.
For overclocking, it depends, Temps and stability. Try to increase your clockspeed with small increases first, and go to the highest possible one with no stability issue. Just like you overclock your pc, you need patience and to be careful not to increase it to a point where you canot boot or spoil you processor.

I really cant understand how to configure setcpu properly. Ive a rooted legend on 2.2 , 3.15 build. My doubts are:
1.What is userspace, ondemand and performance scaling ?
2.On the main menu of the setcpu if slided the bars way down to 19 max and 19 min , but it still shows 600max 480min as default as the speed ...
3. What does the "set On boot" option do ? Set the values on the sliders after booting ? But that does not happen.
4. I also want to overclock my legend. After installing the kernel , is it so that that the sliders' max value will increase ?
5. Also what is the difference between the 3.5 and th 4 kernel version and why do people recommend the 3.5 version ? (btw i wanna oc to 768)

My 2nd query is solved. i disabled the perflock and it went according to the sliders. But please explain the differences between userspace , performace and ondemand scaling

its easy, set on boot means what it says.
select autoconfig or recommended
drag slides to max speed and lowest speed
triggers are such as if the battery goes below say 15% it will lower the speed

- can someone explane safe way to downclock(or overclock) GPU/CPU for O3D, I want to downclock to safe some battery life.

SetCPU (search xda-developers for free download or market for paid updatable version) works for me, detected cpu speeds and allowed me to change them from 300 to 1008 Mhz, also there are a few options how the processor freq change when needed. For now you can only downclock until a new kernel arrives (not 100% sure what kernel is and if it really enables overclocking - just saying). I didn't try anything with setcpu but if you do please post your feedback
i have installed but i cant set the clock, with setvsel for defy i can define 3 speed for the principal status, in set cpu i see only the maximum rate (1008).

what about downclocking, is it really giving extra life for battery?
I use Antutu CPU Master to downclock, it has a cool widget.

I just need thermal config+init.qcom.post_boot-1.sh with some modification...
My requirements are as follows...
1) dont care about heating.
2) cpu governor- interactive
3) min clock frequency- 100 mhz for all cpu
4) maximum clock frequency- no limit
5) camera app not depends on temperature ( hang or slow at high temperature).
6) remove all cpu throttling...(must need)
7) remove cpu offline algorithm... (Must need)
Anyone here which is capable of doing this thing,please help...
my thermal config has it all. have you check ?
only the cpu freq I don't set as low as 200 in interactive. (the minimum) you'll get lag and slow respon. believe me.

i know your skill,so lets join my algorithm and your skill to make best config files...
1) dont care about heating.
2) cpu governor- interactive
3) min clock frequency- 200 mhz for all cpu
4) maximum clock frequency- no limit

and dont confuse between hotplug and throttling(hotplugging is turn unused CPU cores off during periods of low CPU utilization and throttling is turn CPU cores off according to temperature)...

believe me...this makes best algorithm to control heating and increase performane

if you're talking about cpu2 & cpu3 still offline then I can't help.. it's because of the kernel.
they are active as per need though , not totally offline.
thermal config should be good for your need (if you want can remove all the SS-CPU in there )

Yes you here right,i just checked your config file,i think this is perfect mod but it does not support miui 6.7.2... After some time frequency of first four core set to 1651 mhz and rest at 800 mhz...please fix this issue,it makes heating issue...
