[Q] switch from LG G3 to OnePlus one - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys I consider selling my LG G3 to buy Oneplus One because LG G3 don't have a dev support, less rom, bootloader locked, no aosp, screen sharpening issue, unknown wakelock that can't be fixed. Apparently I love the design of G3. The screen with less bazel.. The superb camera quality. but all the problems i've mentioned above are disappointed me. I want to know if u've already own a OPO device.. are there any issue that exist on your phone? is it worth to sell my G3 (bought in 600$ and plan to sell in $450 in just one month) to buy OPO?
sorry for my bad english..
Thx in advance guys.

No. Dont it. I had the G3 before the OPO and honestly the only 2 reasons i choose the OPO over the g3 was because its cyanogemod and the sharpened screen of the g3 pissed me off. The G3 has a better camera, better screen (if you dont mind the sharpening), removable battery and less bezels. I love the OPO but i wouldnt change the g3 for an OPO

There's already a thread discussing this exact topic.

I have an OP and G3. Many of the issues you spoke of have been solved or ameliorated with the G3. I really do (also) like the OP, slim, more basic, no ATT junk.
I've unlocked the G3 and boot/rooted it as well. Both phones are fun to mess with.

[Q] Just a bad screen or something more?

It looks like my HTC Evita has passed away from old age, I'm looking to get a G2 (would really like a G3 but it's not out yet) and was looking at this one on ebay. I'm unsure if it's just somethign that can be resolved by getting a new display or if it's a deeper issure. Anyone have any thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

PS If anyone is looking to sell a G2, I'm looking to buy
I wouldn't buy it if I were you. But if you think you can replace the screen and has done it before, then go ahead. Otherwise, it's a very risky investment there. I am tempted for the G3 too but I've heard that it'd be at least $850 unlocked so I'll stick to my G2 which I got for $400

Good android phone under 200$?

I need a android phone under 200$ by exception of the Moto G (which i already have).
And that phone must be upgradeable to kitkat even with custom roms...

My best advice is to buy a second hand last gen flagship phone on ebay. For example the Galaxy Note 2 is going for around that price.
For $200 you are limiting yourself to pretty low-end devices id you buy new.
You can buy a good smartphone in this budget. You can prefer Nokia X, Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Nokia Lumia 525 and Gionee M2. These all are good quality phone with lots of smart features.
OnePlus One
OnePlus X
Moto G 2015
LG G2 from here only £80
LG G3 from here only £120
the last two are from ebay i cant post link im not high enough level to post outside links there from a guy called cell-plaza on ebay
the last 2 are real iv used them for both phones the LG g2 was for my GF i shoved cyanogenmod 13 on it
the LG G3 was for my dad and i also shoved Cyanogenmod 13 on it as well

Good Replacement Phone For LG G3 D850?

I'm writing seeking some advice.
The screen just cracked on my D850. A replacement screen is going to cost me ~$50.
As the phone is approaching 3 years old, it kinda seems like it might be silly to spend $50 on parts to repair it when, for instance, the G4 is findable in good condition for around $100
Then again, the G4 has that pesky bootloop issue that's known to appear...
So on that note: what would you guys recommend for someone looking for a phone that doesn't break the bank ($100 or less preferred; willing to go up to $200), that would have equal or ideally better specs from the G3, and that is development-community friendly (rootable, custom ROM-able, etc.)?
Fwiw, features I'd look for are:
Same or better camera to the G3
Ideally replaceable batteries, not a deal-braker
MicroSD card slot
Same or better processor to the G3
Same or better display quality (resolution, brightness, etc.) to the G3
Same or better battery life
Same or better development community / ability to root & unlock
Stable, not bug-prone, durable
you could look for a used g5 international or a used s7. g4 is pretty old at this point and I don't think a whole lot of them are available used to drive the price down. I picked up a used verizon g3 last year for 40 bucks. sometimes you get lucky

Can I remove the DAC in a LG V20 and put it in a G6?

I bought a V20 on eBay. The refund from the seller never went through (bad ESN), so eBay wants it destroyed basically.. Before I do that, does anyone know if I can remove the DAC and put it in the G6? You know, like the ultimate hardware hack lol serious question here. I've been disassembling phones since the galaxy s3 so I'm not that much of a noob to it. Any advice?
