My best advice is to buy a second hand last gen flagship phone on ebay. For example the Galaxy Note 2 is going for around that price.
For $200 you are limiting yourself to pretty low-end devices id you buy new.

You can buy a good smartphone in this budget. You can prefer Nokia X, Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Nokia Lumia 525 and Gionee M2. These all are good quality phone with lots of smart features.

OnePlus One
OnePlus X
Moto G 2015
LG G2 from here only £80
LG G3 from here only £120
the last two are from ebay i cant post link im not high enough level to post outside links there from a guy called cell-plaza on ebay
the last 2 are real iv used them for both phones the LG g2 was for my GF i shoved cyanogenmod 13 on it
the LG G3 was for my dad and i also shoved Cyanogenmod 13 on it as well

Suggest me a new Verizon phone?

So it looks like it's RIP for my current Note 2. I also found out I have an upgrade available for Verizon so it's about time I get a new phone. What's a good phone from Verizon you guys recommend? I don't think I'll go for the Note 3 since I want a smaller phone this time around and I honestly don't really care about battery life.

Note 3 would be a bad choice with the Note 4 coming right around the corner, unless you wanted to save money by going with the older model.
Honestly, any of the flagships offered by Verizon will serve you well. Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Moto X, Droid Ultra/Maxx/Mini, LG G2/G3. They're all good. The LGs and Samsungs have the best cameras. The HTC One is the fanciest when it comes to construction, although the Kevlar of the Droids is pretty nice too. The S5 and G3 will give you the most options with batteries and removable storage. The Moto X can be customized to your likings on Motorola's website.
Go to the Verizon store or mall or Best Buy and fondle them all. Go here and read the reviews of the phones and features they have.

[Q] switch from LG G3 to OnePlus one

Guys I consider selling my LG G3 to buy Oneplus One because LG G3 don't have a dev support, less rom, bootloader locked, no aosp, screen sharpening issue, unknown wakelock that can't be fixed. Apparently I love the design of G3. The screen with less bazel.. The superb camera quality. but all the problems i've mentioned above are disappointed me. I want to know if u've already own a OPO device.. are there any issue that exist on your phone? is it worth to sell my G3 (bought in 600$ and plan to sell in $450 in just one month) to buy OPO?
sorry for my bad english..
Thx in advance guys.

No. Dont it. I had the G3 before the OPO and honestly the only 2 reasons i choose the OPO over the g3 was because its cyanogemod and the sharpened screen of the g3 pissed me off. The G3 has a better camera, better screen (if you dont mind the sharpening), removable battery and less bezels. I love the OPO but i wouldnt change the g3 for an OPO
There's already a thread discussing this exact topic.

I have an OP and G3. Many of the issues you spoke of have been solved or ameliorated with the G3. I really do (also) like the OP, slim, more basic, no ATT junk.
I've unlocked the G3 and boot/rooted it as well. Both phones are fun to mess with.

The wait is over

Ive been debating for a couple of weeks now about getting a g pro 2. even though the phones been out for awhile the price is still up there. especially the Korean version. which is suppose to be the one to get to use in the US. Well, I couldn't hold off any longer. Ordered mines yesterday. The only thing im not happy with is the little or next none development support. I know this is a monster phone inside and out. I had the optimus g pro once. I loved the phone, but was disappointed with its support. I sold a note 3 to get this phone. everyone has a note. When you have a z ultra, and a one max the note 3 feels to small. I know the g pro 2 is going to be a nice replacement. I cant wait.
out of interest, why didn't you get the Nexus 6 instead? it's about as big, similar spec and probably will have a lot more development for it if you don't like pure google updates.

it's all about price...
You would be pretty pleased with the G Pro 2. Price is pretty affordable and knock knock code would be indispensable.
Enjoy it.
Price Factor
price is a factor. i did look at the nexus 6. i also looked at the price. i had sold a note 3 and the rest was out of pocket to get the g pro 2. if and when the price ever comes down to where the g pro 2 is now i would get one. ive never had a nexus phone because of there screen size. now put a nexus 6 at the same price that the nexus 5 came out with and im all over it. my current devices are a sony xperia z ultra, htc one max and lg g pro 2 which is being delivered as we speak.
I understand the excitement in getting a G Pro 2 but if you're one of those people that has to flash something every 20 minutes (like myself) you'll be extremely disappointed. I got so annoyed with LG putting a permanently locked bootloader on that I had to go out and buy an Xperia Z Ultra C6833 just so I could have a bit of device freedom. So if it were me, I would've kept the Note 3 or saved up for a while and buy a Nexus 6. But this is just my opinion, I know there are people that love this phone.

Moto G 2015 vs Turbo. Which should i get?

Hi. I have the opportunity to buy a new phone, and the 2 options are the Moto G 2015 for $2800 MXN and the Turbo for $3600 MXN. As you can see, I live in México.
The difference between both is the G has only 1gb RAM while the Turbo is 2gb RAM. Also, Turbo is an Octacore. And also seems to have Turbocharger. Both are 16gb ROM and the Turbo seems to be IP67 while the G is IPx7
What I am trying to realize right know before setting the order is, which one should I get considering I want to use Cyanogenmod on it? It seems there isn't much development for the Turbo. While Osprey is much embraced.
Which device has more compatibility? Which one has more information in general? I don't want to buy one device and then get cut off on a wall.
Also, I am a CE student here in MX and would like to start developing for android in the near future, just punctualizing this even though it is not needed.
Right now I have a Condor, Falcon and Ghost. Thinking of selling one or two after dealing with this dilema.
Thanks
Oh, ok. Thanks.
I canceled my Moto G Turbo order and bought the G3 for the better. Cheaper, more information everywhere and really good resell price. And also has already been shipped to my home.

[Advice] Used high-end phone or new budget phone

I'm looking for a new or new-to-me phone and it seems like I can get either a used older-model high end phone (eg, Galaxy S6) or a brand new budget phone (eg, Moto G4) for about the same price. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of each option? I'm really hoping for general advice on this topic since it trips me up every time I need a new phone!
