Hi All,
I've come across some people who've stated they've got Viper4Android running but I can't seem to get it running. My nexus 5 is rooted and I've had to use "busybox x" which installs ok but when ever I install the driver on Viper4Android it just gets a driver install loop where it asks to install a driver every time I reboot. Any ideas?
Cheers.

Reflash rom and install again
Install driver without installing busybox
Only install busybox if it asks
I was also having this problem
Mine is working
If nothing works and u have to install busybox try this it should work

Yesterday I successfully rooted my Google Nexus 7 using the Nexus 7 toolkit. I noticed that Busy Box and SuperSU were among my apps. I then successfully installed the LiquidSmooth v.2.5 ROM. I then restored a device backup that the toolkit made (option 2). Now I don't see Busy Box or SuperSU listed in my apps.
Is this a problem?
Thank you very much!
Shouldnt b a problem

This shouldnt be a problem at all. SuperSu can b rewdownloaded from the play store, but it isnt needed in my opinion. U are from what it sounds like still rooted, even though u dont have super su. The reason I can tell is that u were able to flash a custom rom.
Yeah you can download superSU from the playstore and the busybox also from the playstore. It happens with me to when i flash a custom rom, they get deleted. instead of superSU- superuser gets installed. man- just download them fromplaystore- it is very simple!!!

Thank you for the replies! I tried a test and downloaded My Backup Root from the Play store, installed it, and performed a backup. The app called for superuser and looked for busy box. It said it found both and the operation completed successfully. So, I guess this ROM has superuser or supersu and busy box included in the code.
Thanks again!

You can use this to flash recovery image. : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=acr.recovery.installation.utility&hl=en
I would suggest using this recovery : http://www.4shared.com/zip/nJtjKoAu/AmonRa_306_Recovery_ThunderG.htm
Assuming you're using a Windows PC, you can also use Android Flash Recovery, link is in my signature.
As for ROM Manager, I highly suggest forgetting about it. It hasn't worked correctly for our devices for a year or so. You may want to check out the LG Optimus One FAQ also. It can be found here.
yeah, use shinobisoft tool, great that the site to download is back again

You can either flash my stock rooted roms which has busybox already. Or you can install my kernel and try to install busybox again. Either way should get you where you want
Ok thanks for the reply I'll try it out.
Anyone have trouble getting the driver to install? I had it working on stock, but then I flashed cm12.1 to try it out, and when I restored my stock ROM it won't install the driver anymore.

Ensure that you're rooted, better to be using SuperSU, but it'll work on anything else. Driver installation can take a few minutes.

It gives me errors when installing the driver. It's either that busy box isn't installed (which it is ) or that the version of Android or ROM isn't compatible. I'm also rooted.

By any chance are you using supersu v2. 65 or updated your supersu binary before installing viper? I believe it have something to do with that because I was having the same problem with RR rom by The Marionette . I've fixed it by reflashing supersu v2.46. Try doing that and see if it is work.

I did update the binary, but I already flashed SuperSU to 2.46, and still the same. I'm gonna try flashing 2.44 and see if that does it. I'm really missing v4a

Try uninstall v4a app first. Then reflash SU but do not update it. Now install v4a app and it driver. I'm using the latest v4a v2.4.0.1. If it's still the fail then I sorry i can't help you because that's what I did to correct my error.

Hey, I needed a little help. I was trying to get busybox installed so I can run Viper4Android. Downloaded the busybox installer from the market and went through the typical in-App installation. Went for the reboot and got into a bootloop.
So my question is... How do we get busybox for our G7 Power? What's the preferred method?
Thanks in advance!
Their is a module on magisk for it

BusyBox is not needed. I have Viper 4 Android running on CrDroid and just have Magisk installed. Magisk root has BusyBox working already in the background.

Every time I try to run Viper4Android without busybox it gives me errors about it not being installed. I'll try the magisk module and report my findings here. Thanks guys

What version of Magisk are you running?
Ok so I got it to work... Turns out I was using the "HiFi" version... Tried the regular FX and it worked like a charm.
Thanks you guys! This is why XDA exist! I've been around for a very long time and this site never disappoints!!
If a Mod could close the thread that'd be cool... Problem solved here!
