I had that for the LG G3. I really liked it.
I always use bumper cases because it does not press on the back cover when I put Qi receivers, and also allow heat to escape from the back.
Is there anyone in here who used this Nillkin bumper case? Please tell us how it is...
I can't find it yet available in US, but it's all over ebay and amazon but coming from china...
I've got one on my phone right now, the grey one to be exact.
its nor what i'd call excessively bulky, but some people might complain over that, the screen is protected with the regular bump on the front part, its quite grippy as the back side remains accessible, the feel of the case is amazing, cutouts are perfect, materials are good, uses bumpy tpu-ish gel-ish plastic on the back and front size for the shock apsorbing, sides are made from strong plastic aswell. Buttons are easily accessible, very easy to press, but doesnt press when putting the phone in the pockets, didnt scratch the phone sides (yet) and its easy to remove even tho its a quite tight fit case.
the little backside rubber part make the phone stable on a flat surface, makes it stick a bit from the ground so the camera is protected. If you drop your phone directly on the back part on a non flat ground your camera will prolly be shattered.
Its my everyday case, would for sure recommend it (got it for about 8$ from ebay)
lemme know if you have any more questions :>

Thanks, the rubber at the front, is it loose or does it feel like it will loosen up in time? I have ordered one anyway because I like bumper cases. Thanks

Its very tight, it wont loosen as the side plastic holds it at place, its an unibody case tho, so the rubber wont separate from the plastic bit. But its quite good, disallows the specs of dust and sand to get in between the case and the metal bezels of the phone, overall i'm very satisfied with it on that area.
The grip is great, buttons work very well and it lets heat escape.
I own two spigen, uag and many cheap ones.
I prefer this one any day.
I bought the gray first. Loved it except the front part is gray.. I thought it was black like all the others with the colors on the back.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I bought the orange and I absolutely love it.
I like it so much. That I already bought the other two colors, red and blue.. ?

Hey all,
I ordered 2 of these last week from Hong Kong for me and my girlfriend.
This case is very nice looking and has several colours available.
It feels very well built and feels nice when holding it in your hand also adds a little more grip.
However this case is simply for style and will not protect your phone, it would maybe protect it from very light drops but your phone will not be protected from very high drops.
On the back of the phone there is a very nice gold Galaxy S logo which also looks great.
So guys don't buy this if you look for protection, instead only for style like me lol
I have included some pictures of it below to show you it and how it fits the phone .
i have the red one
the pictures are in the CASE topic
found them
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7252080&postcount=216
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7269755&postcount=236
The green and the red ones are so sexy xD Too bad i'm too stingy to shell out for one, but i should have a cheaper case coming in the mail (taking it's time dammit...)
I just got the white one in the post today from Korea.
Verrrry happy with it.
I had one of those gel cases before as thats what I used on my HD2 and it was great on that phone but I really struggled with the side buttons on the Galaxy
Are these cases hard or soft? And how well do they fit? Will the phone fall out if I flip it upside down and hold onto the case only? Is it tight enough to where the plastics don't rub against each other and scratch the phone? Also, it looks like it stays put by gripping down on the chrome edges, like most cases for the Galaxy S. Is it safe to use the chrome edges as a latch for the case? Because my chrome edges squeak and feel loose in certain spots and I think they are simply just glued on and not adhered to the phone strongly. Also, how much better of a grip does it give the phone? Because the phone is quit slippery/oily as it is without a case.
And thanks for any replies.
Totally agree that this Mess case in very nice... and slim fit(perfect fit), I have a black one i ordered from Korea Im very satisfied with the case= just what i was looking for, a case that protect my phone from scratches and its very stylish.

1. Case is medium hard
2. Perfect fit
3. Phone will not fall out and i think you can get the scratch from something else not the case.. its tight
4. Offcourse it "can" scratch the chrome edges if you take it off all the time, but the case isnt so hard (kind of medium hard "rubberish" material
5 The grip is very good

Have to agree with this, tbh this is the best case I have had on any phones that I have owned.
Oh and btw it takes about 5-7 days for it to arrive from HK to the UK incase anyone wanted to know
Aaah shyt..
It's exactly 7days now.. and it's not arrived yet. I ordered the white one and I'm patiently waiting. And I'm in Asia...
I ordered the same one in red, so I am thankful, that it seems to be very decent!
I didn't order it for protection though... or against scratches... I ordered it because I hate the plasticy feel of the normal backcover :/

So where does one buy this little beauty. You did not say where you got it.
Ebay is your friend here. Search for 'galaxy s mesh'
Mine cost me £7.03 including postage
I bought mine from this shop http://stores.ebay.com/shimshop

yes there is,Otterbox Commuter for galaxy s.
got it some time ago,i'm very satisfied with it,it has a double protection layer (hard plastic+gel) and it still looks slim. i like it 'cause it gives a nice rugged look to the sgs. tried a lot of other cases, hard cases, silicone gel,TPU..this one brings the best from all worlds imo.

cgi.ebayDOTcom/OTTERBOX-COMMUTER-CASE-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S-VIBRANT-NEW-/330565468969?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4cf73cc329
edit: @omaga: sorry i read now that you were referring to really slim cases only! my bad
for me.. little more grip it's good.. because with more grip, the pure silicone for example, it's annoying whe to put into the pocket...
The mesh Anycall cases are sold here also: goo.gl/Q5cQJ
The link will go to exportprive site, there you can also find them manually pretty easily.
I'm in the market for a case, but I'd like something like the silicone case I had for my MT3G. My only gripe with my old case was that it didn't fit as snugly as I wanted, and could come out just from the friction of putting it in my pocket. I'd be OK with a hard case but as long as it wasnt too bulky and had a soft coating on the outside. They sell a hard one that looks pretty nice at the T-mobile stores, but they charge way too much for them.
Anyone know of a good place to get one, or have bought one yourself and like it?
Options:
- Silicone or hard case with soft coating
- Not bulky. No huge rounded edges or 'bumpers'
- Top bezel can be covered for a snugger fit
- Black preferred, but not needed.
- Package deals OK (like this one) I'm also in the market for a battery, case, world peace, screen protectors, better gas milage, cables, etc.
Honestly, the one at tmo is expensive but it's one of the nicest cases I've ever used. No problem getting it in and out of a pocket, it's absolutely comfortable to hold, and offers a nice little ridge around the phone and camera to protect them from drops. Overall, worth the money.

This SGP silicon one is looking pretty good....would like the black case though, although the blue may be pass-able.
The inclusion of a high quality screen protector may make me get off the fence. On the leather case, I wish they would have a picture of the flap all the way folded over, so I could see how it would lay in the hand for games and such.
Thanks for the link. That SGP is looking pretty good for the price, and it comes with a screen protector as well. Is that a kick stand or a stylus in one of the pictures, though? That confused me....

It's the antenna on the Optimus. These technically aren't for our phones, hence a hole for the antenna that we dont have.
Ah, thanks for the clarification. Sucks about the screen protector.....
I really want a Ringke case but that cut out really urks me. I know why they have it and I know most of them have it. Any good cases without it that are like ringke or at least in the same price range?
The G2x Bodyglove Grasp case is really really nice. They used to have em at walmart (mentioning that makes it seem like a cheap case, but ignore that because it isnt), but they seem to have stopped carrying recently.

One piece tpu case with textured backing for grip
Ehh.. I had bad experiences with tpu, I ordered the ringke

I can always return it, its not a big deal. I couldn't find much on the case on the web and YouTube. What material is it and does it collect dust and are the power and volume buttons still responsive with it on? All the TPU cases I tried they were hard for me to use the buttons.
It's hard to explain, but the buttons are made with another material so it's very comfortable to push the buttons. It feels better than without a case actually. Ill see if i can take a picture for you

I bought this case the day I bought my phone, about two months ago. It's literally the best case I've had for any device. It isn't a hard case so it feels flexible in the hand. But it isn't a gel case, either, and feels sturdy enough to withstand. I recommend this case for sure. 9/10.

It's a weird polymer material. I've never felt another case like this one. The buttons are as easy to press as the phone naked. If its like $7 as the link said, I'd pick it up. I spent $14 on mine at WalMart and would gladly do it again.
hmm...I just ordered like 2 other $2-3 ones from ebay to test them out (literally yesterday or the day before - haven't even gotten them yet), but as soon as I saw this thread and the pictures, I bought it. lol
Cool :] Hopefully you like it as much as I do
I just got a Seidio Surface case from Amazon and it's by far the best case I have had for the G2x so far. I have a Trident Aegis case, which to me adds way too much bulk, but this one actually makes it nice to hold.

Yeah that case looks nice. I like the ringke case, I have come to just accept the corner cut out, still urks me but I'm over it. Its probably the best case I have owned, but with that said, it still has flaws. The sides are loose, and I'm really glad the case doesn't collect dust and lint but the camera lens which is exposed collects A LOT. as well as the corners of the screen

It is the same "soft touch" as the battery door, but over the entire case, and is lined with felt.

Ignore my ignorance but, why are the corners cut out on all the cases?
because theyre made for the O2X and the antenna for that phone is where the cutout is
Here are a few pics of the case I just got (At the mall) I'm not sure what brand but it fits nice and makes my phone feel better, at least to me. This was an O2x case (Corner cut out) but I don't think it looks bad.
Just received it yesterday, here some pics

how thick is the back in mm or in? do you think you could fit a metal plate between the TPU and the hard polycarbonate to make it work with a magentic mount?
Sucks than my nylon bumper is to thick and slides from the magnetic mount
Also if you have a scale could you tell me how many grams does it weight and also how is the raisivity on the edges for when putting the phone face down or in case of a drop?
Thanks!

Not a fan of it or Tudia cases in general.
I only bought it because no other cases in the U.S market were good. The clear cases are just stupid, and that one case with the carbon fiber top and bottom is very thin so I had to go with the protective daddy

I ended up ordering this one too, that otterbox was just too thick for me. Ebay has a 20% off sale going on now and you can find nylon cases marked up to $30 but it ends up having free shipping and it's in stock. I might grab one of those after seeing the replacement for a back panel was only $19.20 + labor.
Just received mine. So far ok. I like the added weight it gives. Wish the front lip was a little higher and the back is a bit slippery. Last one saved my OPO for 3 years though! And yes the back camera cutout looks like a ****. Thank you previous poster for ruining that
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-One-Pl...m=163052111365&_trksid=p2385738.c100677.m4598
$2.84 Free Shipping. By far the best value for the money. Very heavy duty and fits like a glove. I bought 3 different colors and could not be happier.
Too many people around here think they have to spend big money to get good cases. Not true.
Those cases aren't that good, I bought one for my old phones and the first drop made it shatter! It was only a drop of concrete when it fell out of my pocket.

Yes! Used it on my drive this morning. Perfect to hide the plate and not scratch anything (other than maybe the inside of the case).
I like this case so far. Seems like good protection and not too thick, decent buttons. The only thing I don't like is it's hard to slide the slider toggle.
Yeah I have to dig in with my nails and I'm afraid to scratch the paint of the phone.
Hello guys, so i've bought some cases from Aliexpress and i wanted to share with you my impressions, the price range was 1.6$-4.5$ and there are pretty good and cheap.
There are also some brands that have the same cases but they just include their name on the package and for an expensive price, but the case is the same.
All of the are screen protector friendly, glass or film.
The Full black one is my favourite, not too bulky, not too thin, just perfect, grippy at the sides, the buttons are clicky and when you have your phone on hands you know where they are, there is a litttle lip that come for th sscreen and if you are using a glass protector then you'll still have like 0.3mm so when you have your phone on the table the screen is still safe, camera also is protected, and the texture at the back has that brushed metal feeling when you touch it, veeeery nice.
The Black one with clear back is good, makes the phone just a liiiitle bit bulky, but èit's nice if you want protection + you can see the back of your phone, has a nice way to bring your finger to the scanner, the lip is like the black one, and when the phone is on the table for exemple if you play, it is stable as it's not round on the side, it's like a rectangle at the back, but the buttons as you can see are aligned with the case, means you don't really know where they are, specially the volume one, butstill a very good case.
The clear ones are thin, they just cover the phone and at the screen if you are using a glass protector they will be at they same level so no lip there, buttons are good, but i don't use it that much because i feel that the screen is not very well protected , but it doesn't make the phone bulky at all and if you like to see the back of your phone you can go for it.
I personally use the full black one as it doesnt make it bulky, touch feeling is very nice, grippy, buttons are there, protect the camera and in the inside it's very soft so it wont scratch the phone is case there is some sand or pocket dirt.
That's it, hope you like my review

Alway been funny to me how much this goes on in China. It's like there's one company making cases and 100 reselling them, or someone designs a case and the factory sells unbranded versions out the back door, or there are factories copying every case design on the market. Probably a little of all of it. :silly:
I liked this all black, it is similar to spigen but much cheaper, but does it offer the same protection?
I bought the first one.
Everything like you said but you forgot to say one minus ..fingerprint magnet.
otherwise it's a good case.
