i own an htc s710.recently i flashed it with neo rom and it works very pretty.but today i compared the ime of my phone/in the back of battery/and displayed by the software in the settings.these are different.may it cause security problem?.and can i regain it.pls pls help me....
thanking you
IMEI is not changed by flashing - possibly the last 2 digits indicating SW Version. Depending on where you got your device from, the previsous owner may have replaced the main PBA with another one.
tobbbie you are right.only the last two figures are changed.thank you for you great advice.and i think it wil not cause a security problem

Hi Everyone, I am in serious problem and require help.
I have OPO and recently it got washed off in rain. Right now there is no display its completely black but gestures are working. I gave it to the service centre but they said that nothing could happen as it may brick the phone as water has entered into motherboard.
I want help to recover some few photos from it as they are of utmost important.. My phone is locked with a scrambled pin lock. If you have any solution to it, please share.
Thank you in Advance

Hook your phone to computer and let connection be for transferring files.
Then use computer file manager to find your files. Easy.
All you need to do is remember your swipe, then after unlocking swipe down from top for change notification of where to tap to change the connection type.
Prolly find photos of everything online.
Also, you can run adb commands to pull files from your device.
Look how helpful google is:

The simplest method is to connect one plus one from twrp and transfer all the data
TL;DR Need help enabling USB Debugging on locked phone, need help retrieving data inside or need help gaining access to locked phone. (Galaxy S6 SM-G920V)
Hello! I've never used any kind of community like this, so maybe this is in the wrong section, but needless to say I need help. I've had a broken Galaxy S6 for two years, and I needed to recover my photos and stuff, but I had no luck since the digitizer didn't work and LCD was whacked, I had USB debugging turned off and couldn't do much. So now I've fixed the LCD and phone works just fine. But I forgot my pattern lock. Now I've got 2 more attempts before the phone resets. Now I can reset it and use it just fine, but if there's any hope for retrieving the pictures and app info stored in the phone, I'd very much appreciate it. Couldn't find answers on reddit, dr fone didn't work, and now I'm here. If someone is able to help me here, I'll gladly pay. I've got the Samsung Cloud account, but stupid mf's deleted my info because I didn't log in in 12 months, so no luck. So I need help retrieving the data inside. Will provide any proof that the phone is mine, just ask me. USB Debugging is turned off, and phone isn't rooted.
Thanks for reading, if anybody is able to help me, thank you so much.
I ****ed up flashing stock rom on my phone while using sp flash tool, apparently wiping or overwriting NVRAM in the process.
I lost the imei and googlekey attestation but managed to restore them using SN writer. However my touchscreen also became erratic and completely unusable, with the four quadrants of the screen also swapped around, and the X and Y axis swapped within them. I've requested help from the manufacturers with no result. I wonder if anyone knows what I have done and how I can fix it. My research so far leads me to think that lost the configuration/calibration data for the touchscreen, something which is no included in the downloadable stock rom. I wonder if I can somehow obtain this data file from an identical phone, either individually if I can identify it, or simply clone everything, in order to restore the required data.
I've read somewhere that this data might be stored inside of the touchscreen drivers themselves, not that that helps me much as I have no idea where to find it.
I'm not sure to what degree this problem, and any solution, might be device specific. I've found many threads of people in the same position, with a wide variety of phones, but no answers on how to solve it.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this issues or and pointers towards solutions?
With a week gone and no answer, plus many previous threads posing similar questions without solution, I figure this problem is not a common problem with well documented solutions. However, I have found somebody who appears to have come up with a solution so if you have a similar problem, look here...
How to Fix MTK Touch Panel Configuration (wrong touch mapping) with GtpAdbTool
This is a summary of my own repair work. I am NO expert of Android. I do NOT know anything about MTK platform. It is to document my findings in the hope that it may help someone else. Sorry in advance if there is anything inaccurate/wrong. I bear...

Same problem here
Please reply if you found the solution
No solution found. Even the manufacturer's could not supply a solution (for the record, ulefone customer services is **** and a good reason to avoid their phones).
Phone remains unusable.
Unfortunately, I am posting this question from a tragic loss of a dear friend earlier this year as his wife gave me his phone to see if I could unlock it for her as it contained so many details of contacts and photographs of her family she does not have any more.
My main question is this; How can I unlock his phone without any data loss if I do not know his pin number?
I have tried all proprietary software solutions but they all wipe the phone clean and or are not up to date with this phone, even tried some off-beat YouTube solutions to no avail.
I have looked at SDK solution also but for the novice this is too daunting and worried I could brick the phone so any advice would be warmly welcomed or point me somewhere I can go!
(by the way I have all the receipts for this phone and IMIE number etc so this is a genuine request - not a lost or stolen phone)
