Hi All,
I have a Chinese tablet. Sometimes it is marketed as XVision and sometimes as a KTC. Who knows, maybe something else as well. It is running JellyBean 4.2.2
Here are the specs:
Model 800P31C
Rockchip 3188
Kernel 3.0.56+
Build RK31SDK-eng 4.2.2 JDQ39lipf.20140307test-keys SDA14030399
Tablet was rooted with Vroot. After awhile it started to slow down, etc. I decided to do a reset. Well, what happened is that stock apps like camera are not installed and nowhere to be found. Only calendar, calculator, gmail, maps explorer, apkinstaller, music, rkmultiplayer, are installed. Google Play Services is listed in all apps but is not the lock screen or the app screen. I have forced stopped it, cleared the data, cleared the cache, and done the same with Google Frameword Services. I have tried resetting twice.
Can someone point me in a direction? Would it better to flash a new rom and update to Kit Kat?
Thanks for any help.
Debo
Looks like the Reset wiped some of those apps that were supposed to be System apps but aren't. You might want to install other equivalent ones from Play store if that's an option.
If stock firmware is available current or newer, then best to flash that. If not then please post in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
so that the right experts for your device may be of help.

Hello everyone!
I recently got my first Android phone so im fairly new to all this.
(my phone: lg g2 d802 16gb model, rooted, stock 4.4.2)
I rooted it and froze some harmless apps(was very cautious not to freeze important ones) and everything worked fine. i downloaded some apps after i edited things(=playstore worked) the last thing i remember is change the clock widget on my lock screen(a stock widget) but i dont think this has anything to do with it eighter..
At one point i tried to download an app but the play store couldnt connect(even though i had an internet connection, rest worked just fine)
i read through the internet and tried multiple things:
-clear cache and data of the play store app
-removed updates
-deleted and reinstalled it
-removed my google account(after this the app started crashing instantly probably because i froze sth thats needed to register a new google account or whatever, i dont know)
-made a factory reset: i really hoped this would fix it but it didnt. the app still crashes. after the factory reset i still found the supersu app on the phone(is the phone still rooted even though i did a factory reset?)
-removed my root access and did a factory reset again. additionally i logged in with a new google account so they google wouldnt use the data from my original google account(maybe there was sth that was causing it) didnt work.
Anyone has an idea what to do next? could flashing the stock rom help? whats the next step?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
First try clearing Data on play store, Play services and Google services framework. Then reboot.
Failing that, you would need to ask for help in your device section here...
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
hey, thanks for the fast reply.
i tried it but it didnt work unfortunately. Thanks for the advice, i posted a thread in the device-specific section!
I'm sorry if this is long (or even repeated thread) but I should explain everything so that you guys can know the situation better.
I've tried clearing cache, clearing data and force stopping the play store app. Restarted my tab but the issue continues. I've tried almost all known troubleshooting methods to fix this issue, but no luck so far. I also tried clearing cache and data wipe on Google framework services but that did not help either. Please note m using Play store v4.6.17 if I remember it correct. This didn't work so updated it to the latest version 5.1.11 from Aptoide. This helped a bit. I was able to download one or two apps from it then the same problem continued. I've checked the background data is not restricted, I also did a full factory reset but no luck there either. Note: This same version of play store is installed in my android phone with Jelly bean 4.2 and the play store there works just fine.
Previously, the play store was working just fine but I upgraded my tab to Lollipop through OTA update, which I didn't like at all. So had to downgrade back to Kitkat 4.4.4 using the official stock image from Google developers site with the help of SDK tools. Since then m facing this problem. Any help to solve this issue is much appreciated.
UPDATE: I kept searching the net for a solution and finally got one. I just had to clear the Download manager's cache and data. And for some reason its working again and I'm able to download apps but some for apps m unable to update. For eg. Google play books. Otherwise working fine so far.
Hi people, I have a Huawei P8 (GRA-L09) but I do not know which build version (I assume it is V100R001C900B118 since I am from South Africa), unlocked bootloader (via huawei) and rooted (normal supersu) with TWRP recovery.
I recently started getting problems with my google play: Something about unable to authenticate. I tried clearing data for google apps, restarting phone, changing password online to force play store to ask, nothing worked.
Eventually after uninstalling updates (to play store) I got new error: Unable to reach server [RH-01] which i also couldn't fix.
I did a factory reset after backing up my apps, because it was the most suggested answer to solve google play problems.
Now I am at the InitialSetup of android, I select my locale, agree to huawei privacy policy and when I press next, it hangs. for hours.
I tried doing a wipe from TWRP (data, cache and dalvik) to no avail.
My phone is unusable now... Any help will be greatly appreciated
PS: nothing I had done with root was recently, i.e. my phone was working perfectly until google play store problem
Also, due to my internet being potato, I would prefer a stock rom download as a last resort
I cant remember if bumping is allowed or not, but this is urgent...
My problem is that this is happening on a very old HTC Sensation, running Android 4.0.3 and that all the help I find online refers to more modern versions.
In Apps / Google Play Store, I forced stop, cleared data and cache, rebooted but it didn't cure the problem
I also performed a factory reset without success.
Someone in the Google Play Help Forum advised me to call the Play support team which I did. They sent me an email, I followed the procedure but it didn't fix anything so they told me to contact HTC if the bug still persisted, which I did a while ago but no reply, so far.

I have solved this problem and I am posting the solution here in case someone else would have the same problem.
I downloaded, installed and ran Lucky Patcher apk file V6.4, for Android 4.0.3,4.0.4 from here https://goo.gl/UqPEDS and it did the trick.
Hello. I recently updated my e3c5 tablet with the OTA with Phoenix 2.0. After the factory reset, as directed from the update, very little is working. Cannot update Google play services (error 501), Gmail, chrome, keep, drive, anything on the cloud does not work or sync. What was a great tablet is now crippled!
I've tried all the troubleshooting ideas, clearing caches, remove and add Google account, etc.
Anyone else encounter this and resolve? Or, how do I revert to the prior firmware (1.35 I think). I tried the bootloader with volume down and power, boots up as expected but all bootloader menus are in Chinese....so I'm stuck....and frustrated!
Thanks in advance for any information.
