Im trying to port over Fire Os 3.5.1 to my Atrix HD but it seems like FireOS is missing some files or has more files than the base rom im using(cyanogenmod 10.1.3). For example the init.d file is missing and there are alot more perms in fire os.
Basically, will I need these files? I am using the ones in Cyanogenmod instead since there aren't any init.d files.
I will be testing the rom later.

Hi,
Unfortunately there isn't a device specific forum for you to go to but there does appear to be plenty of posts about your phone in the general q&a forum found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
This would be a good place to ask, otherwise I found a roundup of available ROMs for you here

Maybe it will work with one of the others
Best of luck!
Hi guys! I'm a proud owner of a Cherry Mobile Fusion Wave Tablet that I don't freakin' know the OEM. I was wondering on how I can extract the ROM straight from the device itself?
I've already tried the romdump_v82b.zip method and it gave me an error about the emmc.
I can't do an SPFT Extraction because this tablet is having the Samsung Exynos 4412 SoC (The reason I got the tablet)
Any help is appreciated!!!
Hi there
There are many guides and tutorials here for developing roms:
> Chef Central > Android
After lots of reading, if you still have questions, ask in the thread of the guide you are using, or start your own thread and ask for help.

I own a Lenovo A3500 -HV. I have been using it for an year now and it is running KitKat(4.4.2). There is no sign of a newer OS coming to this tab so I have decided to install a new ROM. I decided to go with CynanogenMod but the problem is my device is not listed in the supported devices directory.
I think my device has the minimum requirements to run the OS.
I would like to know if it will be better to install the CyanogenMod or just leave it with kitkat or maybe install some other mods that my tab can support?

This thread involves developing a Google AOSP ROM to be compiled for compatibility for the Kurio Xtreme 1st Generation. Anyone is welcome to have any ideas on helping me with making this type of Android ROM as long as it relates the the Kurio Xtreme 1st Generation, and no other Android Device.
Hi, I'm new here. I am planning on making an Android ROM running off of the Kurio Xtreme, and I am looking for experienced Android ROM developers' help, in order to get every part of the ROM as stable as it can.
ROM we are building for:
Device Name | Codename | Model ID
----------------------------------------------------------
Kurio Xtreme | g03k | C14100
Here is a picture of the device attached:
I hope this will help you.
I have a Kurio C14100 too.

Reverb, yes I would also need a rom for the Kurio c14100. Since I have no idea myself, it would be good if you take over that. I backuped the entire stock rom from the Kurio. Therefore, there should be no problems with rebuilding.
Thanks, very much _teckiii_, although I'd appreciate it if you got me the link for the ROM, we have a lot of work-in-progress mods to do with this ROM of yours.
Also, do you know if there is a way we can modify the system UI navbar to look similar to the one with PrimeOS?
