Generally to flash a kernel, you need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery, such as CWM or TWRP.

i ve samsung jet s8003
i want to run android on it i ve tried jetdroid roms but its not for daily use
i ve seen some roms and i didnt know how to use it on jet
roms for phones with same jet spec
like "LG GT540"
Plzzz help me to run android in jet bec i cant buy new phone now must be in the next holiday

This seems to be a tricky issue, I've found a thread on the s8000,but it says untested on the s8003, so that could lead to serious issues, including bricking your device.... And I can't find anything useful on your s8003. I suggest you ask here, and hopefully someone with knowledge on your device can help....

i ve maden this from a very long time but it s not for daily use
WHAT IS NOT WORKING:
(as in other JetDroid ROMs):
SIM card: no connection
none of the SIM functions (calls, SMS, mobile data)
battery status displays always 70% (charging works normally)
so i want to install another rom for daily use instead of jetdroid rom how i do that?

yesterday i restore my device with help of an angel !!! from xda
i get a flashable file and with his instructions i willing to restore it
the flash file was 4.2.2 rom what i am asking is anywhere i can find flashable 4.4.2 rom ?
my device didnt give me the choice to do it automatic which is weird cause it was at the begining with
also i try the lg flash tool 2014 and lg pc suite and they crash
my device is HKG version

i hawe tryed this file and the phone dosent do eanything after extrakting WWE_PadFone2_user_11_8_3_3_UpdateLauncher.zip and copying it to the asus Folder on the root of the fone

thx fore the help but thats fore the padfone 2 A68 i have padfone 2 A86 its the laitest one and i DL the file that is fore the A86 but when i put the file on the phone noting hapends the updater shold say there is an update fore the phone but nothingi tryed the root of phone and root of sdcard and ASUS/update/ but nothing hapends
its so anoing that i cant update whit the update file
You could still ask in the first thread... Just specify your model and don't flash anything not made for your model.

Hello,
I have been trying for the last 2 days to install the PurePerformance Mod without success.
I have a Asus Zenfone 5 4.4.2 KitKat T00J WW with the Philz 6.55 touch recovery CWM.
The first problem when flashing was a status 255 error which I think I solved by changing the recovery-update file by the one in my ROM.
Then I got the following issue:
set_perm: some changes failed E: Error in /sdcard/PurePerformances.zip (Status 7)
Can anyone help me please?

It worked for my second phone (acer liquid e2 ) and it is supposed to work for every device, so the problem doesn't come from there.

I'd say if it doesn't work though, it doesn't work. There's no such thing as a mod that works on every device . Or Android version. ?

I'm a new user here. I ported a rome for my mtk6572 device . but the rome does have an audio bug. My loud speaker is not working , i replaced these (Attached Thumbnails) from stock rome but the bug not fixed yet ... what sould i do?

You should be asking for help in the thread you downloaded the rom from. It's likely a known bug. If you read back through the rom thread starting at the end, you may find talk about how to fix it.
Otherwise, you will likely need to flash your stock firmware again. You can ask for help here,
