From what I've seen all it can do is track the phone and show it on a map, wipe and trigger the phone to make a noise in order to find it, Cerberus can do both of those plus like 10+ more so i would rather pay like 2 euros for a lifetime license

Like I meant this is google, cerberus was out for ages therefore they had time for development. Things that are implemented and sp3cially from the maker of the os we running is always better then a 3 rd party. Well mostly.

Goolgle and ADM delay
For now, it seems Android Device Administrator (ADM) is limited to a checkbox in the Device Administrators menu of our smart phones. The web interface and android app do not show up until now. So it is better uncheck to avoid any possible issue that could affect the phones.

I already have activated the app. All is ok: in the account and also in my phone (green icon, google settings). My problem was that I believed that this ADM app was going to be like AVAST (with rooted phones, that do not need to turn on manually the GPS settings).
With this google ADM app must be always activated the GPS in a permanently manner.
We need to have always present that GPS doesn't use any data. It uses the 31 GPS satellites to determine the phone's position only, which is not a "data" connection at all. What uses the data is the app that is using the GPS (in this case the ADM).
Thank you very much for your help. This forum is wonderful, every day we learn many things. Nobody knows everything.
With kind regards,

try AFWall Donate version, XPrivacy, AppOps, MyAndroidTools Pro, ChatSecure, Orbot, Network Connections or Network Log App in playstore, override DNS app, SD Maid, Firefox browser...these are all good apps known for supporting end-user privacy or for strong root level management of your system. It really depends on what type of "secure" youre interested in. Android is relatively secure security-wise, but privacy-wise, not so much... actually in its default state, not at all, especially with google inside. Knowing your settings, and config, almost any ROM can be secure.

If you are willing to switch to a Nexus 5 we (Graphite Software) have posted a ROM (Secure Spaces) that allows you to create a separate space (virtual phone) where you can easily configure the settings (enable and disable a number of attributes - bluetooth , networking, adb, etc). Also you can remove the Google Play apps in this personal or hidden space, but allow the owner space to still have Google Apps if you want. This new space is encrypted using ecryptfs and also has pid namespaces enabled in the kernel, plus some additional security features. You can push apps into this space to limit their access to the owner space , or you can think of this space as a private space where maybe you launch only a banking app for example.

All I can say is do what I did. Check them out. Read, follow instructions, experiment. Android may come shipped with some functionalities disabled but the capability is there...in a major way. You just have to take the time to learn. Familiarize yourself with settings, apps, services, device signals.
According to facebook report over my mail, someone has entered in to my fb via Xperia XA, Saratoga, CALIFORNIA, US. I am at Europe.
Most likely i was blocked because my phone Ip have changed somehow. Now i cant enter in to my account with msnger and facebook (only from browser) app on my phone. Think the security system is blocking my phone.
Ps: i had to swap Wifi with 4g in order to get access.
Did you use any vpn to access Fb?
Think not, just standart office Wifi connection. And i just check , my office location (according to my laptop is Europe), but according to my phone 4g i am at California ,Saratoga. So whats going on ?
Its something from the phone system, i changed the firmware few days ago, and the phone is encrypted now, so maybe its forcing the apps to connect via VPN network, or who knows...
really ?? my phones comes with greek firmware and now I use south Africa firmware !! is there any problem ?
Have you some apps from unofficial markets like Aptoide? Have you some apps downloaded from file-sharing links or P2P? If yes, don't search away, you probably have a malicious app.
If you are rooted, use a permission manager app, Xprivacy is good for that and allow blocking strange permissions (Facebook, Google accounts, contacts, device ident, ... for an app who don't need them).

1) Try to re-download apps from trusted sources.
2) Try AVG app integrated in the device to scan it.
3) Use Xprivacy and block unnecessary permissions on suspicious apps, make some test (block/unblock) to understand what mean each permissions. For sample, a game generally don't need root, phone contacts or SMS and needs sensors, storage and Internet.

Hey everybody,
some of you might have known this app, but that hasn't been updated in a while. I therefore decided to fork the "new" beta a few months back, and I got that working again and extended it a bit.
What is it?
Basically, it's an app that takes the cached and downloaded songs of Google Play Music, adds ID3 tags to them from the database of GPM, searches for covers online, and saves all that together in an MP3 wherever you want.
Bug reports and Feature Requests:
If you have any questions, feel free to ask here, or in the matrix discussion room. If you find any bugs, or have feature requests, please check the issue tracker on github, if you can't find it, report it there, post in this thread, or write a message in the discussion room linked above.
Download:
You can download the app either on F-Droid, or XDA-Labs. Please note though, that the release to F-Droid is a bit faster, since it is automatic, and I only add a release on XDA-Labs, after it has been successfully published to F-Droid.

Hey jcgruenhage! Many thanks for the app, that helps you to get all your cached music from Google Play Music All Access. And also, many thanks for the tipp, that it is possible to get the unprotected mp3 directly on PC from GMPAA with help of Remix OS Player.
You are great!
Thanks for this app. I am wondering, does this require root?

Yes, as it says in the description
Thank you so much for your rework of the initial app !
This is now working again (Galaxy S6 under LL) and actually perfect !
I love the concept of this app, however I'm having issues. No matter where I set the export location (internal or external) or where Google has the music saved (again, internal or external), the app gets through a few hundred songs then seems to freeze on one randomly. The app doesn't crash or give me an error, it just seems to stop working. This is regardless of whether the device is awake, asleep, running other apps, running nothing, etc. It seems to move progressively slower in exporting each song until it just decides to stop.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running stock rooted Marshmallow.
Edit: saw your request for issues to be posted on Git. Sorry.

Well, I guess if I post this here, I should be able to check every now and then, just changed the description above, post issues wherever you want, I'll collect them on github ^^
On to your issue however: There have been a few people reporting this on the original app, and so far, I have not found the cause. However, using the automatic export, I have seen a few hundred songs getting exported without any delay, so maybe unifying the export calls of these two operations might help.
Doesn't work with MagiskSU.
Not asking for root magisksu
Working perfectly on my rooted Nexus 9!
Can you please add download support for this app?

Thank you.
I sometimes buy albums from Google to use on me iPod (iTunes is ehh) and having to manually add meta-data to each song is tedious. This app solves that perfectly.

Music Mate is different in a two key points:
Closed Source and "needs" a lot of permissions, in addition to costing money.
Interacts with the Google Servers instead of the local storage.
The first one is a big problem for privacy reasons, you're giving yet another company data about you, that they can use for whatever they want. The second is even worse, since that means that Google can find out about you ripping music/violating their terms of service, without even looking on your phone. This is true for any app using unofficial Play Music APIs.
If you are going to use something like that, I'd recommend GMusicProxyGui. That is free, open source, and probably even uses the same backend (gmusicproxy) for downloading the songs.

Ah true true. I didn't even think about that. I used to use a program for Windows (Song Spout) that did basically the same thing and cost $10 a year (originally). It probably used the same method as Music Mate.
I've been using Music Mate because I've been running my phone unrooted for a while due to that damned Safety Net. Thankfully, my tablet is in the "couldn't care less about Safety Net" group so this will work on it.
Thanks for updating this app. :good:

Most Chinese smartwatches today, come preinstalled with the Nucleus OS. However, it seems impossible to install third-party applications.
Indeed, you are able to install such apps; just load the app you want to install into your smartwatch's microSD, and then dial up the code: *#00000000# in the dialer app.
Now you can enjoy your smartwatch???!

Dear G1-Amateur,
I have not found any Heart-rate apps with Bluetooth Connectivity. But, if you describe exactly what kind of app you need, I will search online and come up with some. Have on mind that in order such an app to work, your Nucleus-Based Smartwatch must have a Heart Rate Sensor compatible with that. So, if you want me to find an app for your watch, please send me the device's specs (to find them press *#66*# on the Smarrwatch's dialer - then press Version > Summary) and an extensive description of the app you want.

What about clones? Do they work as well? because when I type the code in nothing happens. Or is it that I didn't put the SD card in? (sorry I can't try it out with the SD card in, there's none lying about and none in my phone and I can't be asked to go the stores to buy one.)

I have a one with nucleus os, and it refuses to let me install apps. It will say "please insert a valid SIM" whenever i try. If i try using microsd, i cannot view files, nor can i if i connect via usb
On a side note, is there any way to flash android on one? Or is nucleus os hard baked in
