Hey guys, today I don goofed.
I went full flashing frenzy mode after week and weeks of restraining myself in fear of doing irremediable damage to my phone. I rooted it and unlocked boot loader without changing the recovery because I wanted as much as possible "stock" root (don't ask why, this is stupid I know).
So I Updated Binaries, Installed Xposed framework, installed a bunch of modules (I can list them if you need), then I installed all the lollipop apk's I could get my hands on (GPL, Google Play Store, Google Search, Music) and I decided, this isn't enough. I then flashed Franco Kernel R27, and things were going great. As that wasn't enough flashing, I flashed the Smooth Scrool Mod and finale Vomer Tweaks. I think this is where it went south, because I didn't find the file for Vomer (that I was supposed to install), so I flashed It once again. After that, my phone started to bug a bit, so I rebooted, and at first I would get no signal, would not detect my SIM card etc. I tried a factory reset and now my phone is booting, getting to the setup screen, and booting again. At this point I still have access to TWRP, Fastboot etc. I then decided to do I full complete recovery using THIS GUIDE to get "100 stock". I'm still getting the reboot at setup screen. I am know trying THIS METHOD
AND IT ****ING WORKED. Holy ****. I'm leaving this post so I can thank all the great guys that help me save my ass... I learned my lesson and do a Nandroid before doing stupid **** like that (i Know i'm gonna do it again...). I was scared ****less. I'm still curious as towhead happened though. Any clue ?

Ok Ill try to make this as clear as I can. I don't know what I'm doing and thought I would mess around with my Samsung Mesmerize for USCC.
USCC released the gingerbread update for my phone. So I went on their site and downloaded the installer and installed it on my phone. Before I was on froyo and was rooted with the vodoo lagfix. I did NOT disable or unroot before I did it.
Gingerbread update went fine and phone was working properly. I wanted to use my titanium backup to restore all of my apps but it said I wasnt rooted. I figured all I had to do was use superonelickroot and be back to square one. Problem is it wouldnt work.
This is where I really screwed up. I browsed around and found that I need to root it different because gingerbread is different and wont work with superoneclickroot.
I found a link to upgrade the samsung galaxy 19000 by using odin and replace some files.
This is where I really screwed up. I flashed my rom and installed the .tar file not realizing that it wasnt for my phone........
SIGH>..........
Phone wouldnt go past samsung screen which was all discolored and weird.
After panicing for awhile I figured I need to use odin again and flash an original rom back. So I found an original USCC froyo 2.2 rom and reflashed it to my phone.
Now my phone at least loads but I'm having a slew of problems. My internal memory storage is at 0 so I cant install anything. I also keep getting force close loop from twlauncher. I got that to go away by removing all of the widgets on my phone.
I have NO clue what the hell I'm doing and I'm afraid I screw this phone up.
I've tried hard resetting and when I do it, it says all sorts of failures and crap in red in the boot screen. It will reload eventually and the phone otherwise seems to be fine.
The problem is I can install like 2 apps and that's it before it says there in insufficient memory.
All I want to do is get my phone working like normal again.
What did I do wrong, other then the obvious installing the wrong rom for my phone?
I thought by reflashing with an original rom things would be back to normal, apparently not.
I would appreciate any help or info.
I'm not a complete noob but will need some laymen terms.
Thanks !

Update:
I restarted my phone just to see what happens and it reloaded like normal except it didn't save alot of my setting I changed.
So the phone is truly acting like it has no system memory. My wallpaper was back to the original one that comes with the phone and other settings were turned back to the original settings.
What will happen if I "clear cache partition" from the boot menu?
Will this help my problem at all?
Does anyone have any suggestions, I know someone out there knows whats wrong.
PLEASE HELP !!!

Update:
Ok, It also lost the one app that I was able to install, friendcasterpro.
So my phone is acting like it has no internal memory.
Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
THANKS !!!!
Same thing happened to me. Look up rfs formatter for the fascinate. After flashing it through recovery, flash your rom after while still in recovery. I had the same problem, this seemed to fix it for me on froyo. There may be other ways to fix though. Here's a link for it http://db.tt/JRseDsT. Don't know to much about odin anyone who does feel free to chime in.

So, I know this post is REALLY old, but would you happen to still have a copy of the 2.2 ROM? I can't find it anywhere.
RE: Process system is not responding
Anybody else ever run into this problem. I restart my phone and process system doesn't work right away. it takes sometimes 5 or 6 reboot attempts before the phone process system runs.
I'm not rooted regular stock.

I'm sorry your question makes no sense try explaining a different way
I would suggest rooting and flashing another rom. Sounds to me like something got corrupted.

alright i fixed it on my phone. i did a full wipe. tell me if i need to explain how to do this. reflashed the ROM and gapps. when i went through the setup the first time there was an option to restore from google. it was checked by default. i left it checked. same problem... system process not responding... wiped and started over and reflashed ROM and gapps. unchecked restore google and it didnt come back. phone hasnt crashed since. the problem lies within the wifi passwords restore. the problem started when i was trying to start wifi. i dont know where to report the bug or i would. good luck and any questions? just quote this so i get an email and ill try to explain if this didnt make sense. hope it helped. if it did consider buying my buddy a beer who is a dev and needs a new computer. http://johntriger-development.yolasite.com/
OK, here's the history:
I bought my Sprint Galaxy SIII from Craigslist. It was almost new and came with factory firmware. I'm pretty certain that it had never been flashed, rooted...etc.
I activated it on FreedomPop and went through their activation process.
Then I rooted with Odin.
Everything went well and worked well enough, except that I was unhappy with the battery drain. I was getting <10 hours on a full charge. My research said that the FP apps were the culprit.
Skip ahead two months to yesterday...
I decided to install a new ROM and get rid of all FP apps. My plan was (still is I hope) to use the free data from FP and use Hangouts for all voice and text. I'm not a heavy user, so the data usage should be minimal. I'm mostly interested in using the plan strictly for data.
I found a ROM called LiquidSmooth and installed it along with Philz touch recovery. I also did a Nandroid backup of my working ROM.
It installed fine, but I started having random reboots.
I decided to go back to full stock, rooted. I d/l'ed ND8 Stock Rooted Odex and flashed it (after making a Nandroid of the working (mostly) LiquidSmooth). The flash went fine, but the phone will now not reboot.
I've left it for 30+ minutes with fingers crossed, but it just keeps flashing the blue LED. The hardware buttons do nothing. Only a battery pull shuts it down.
I can get back into Recovery, no problem.
I re-flashed including full reset/wipe/Dalvik wipe at least 4 times with the same result. It never boots.
I tried to reinstall my Nandroid of LiquidSmooth, but it fails on MD5 check (probably because I brilliantly changed the filename after creating it.
If I disable MD5 checking though Philz, it still fails. The error is Error while restoring /system.
I haven't yet found my original working Nandroid on the system. It's not in the same folder as the LiquidSmooth backup. It was created by CWM, not Philz if that helps anybody help me.
I cannot connect to the phone via my PC to load another ROM on it. It does not show up in My Computer.
I assume ADB is unlikely to work too, but I'm a complete newb in that area.
Please hit me with some suggestions. Am I SOL?
The phone's not a brick, I just can't seem to make it recognize a ROM.
Thanks for reading. I'll look forward to any replies.
Hi,
Asking here in your device section would be the best place to find help...

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up using Samsung download mode and flashing a stock rom with Odin. Now back up and running. Let's see how the battery lasts now.
Thank you. Thread closed.
I guess I am a little too impatient to wait for the official OTA to roll around, so I grabbed the official factory images from the Android Developers site, and went ahead and flash that via fastboot. Everything went fine, finished the flash and it rebooted to start the new life.
Only.
Now for at least close to an hour it has been flashing that four color circle and not progress so far. I even went as far as re-flashing the images using flash-all and it still went successful, but still stuck in the boot up image.
Any thoughts?

reflash it, but dont use flash-all, flash each img file individually. many are having issues because of the flash-all. if it flashes correctly, you wont see circles anymore in the boot animation.

Maybe you got a problem just like me. My cache partition is corrupted so i just flash cache.img to repair it and now i can load to lollipop.

Thank you @simms22 for your directions. Sorry I was very busy for the last 24 hours with countless meetings going on that I didn't reply to this.
Yes, flash manually and fixed the boot loop issue, though, the first start up was longer than I thought it would and was waiting very nervously for it to work.
Though, one suggestion, if anyone is reading this post, don't let Google auto-restore the apps, I think mine had some minor issues that I am trying to pin-point......
Device: OnePlus One Sandstone Black 64 GB
This phone only has factory installed software and has been updated after automatically receiving software update prompts on the phone.
On 28th April, 2016 a software update popped up on my OPO. I installed it and started using it. My 4G/LTE internet from T--mobile was NOT working, so I thought of a reboot. After a reboot, I'm not able to get past the phone LOCK. When I swipe the screen to unlock my phone, the screen dims and the phone is useless. What are the options to fix this? I've imp data inside the phone.
Is there a way to go back to the state before the update. I've found lot of stuff on the internet that has overwhelming info. I'm afraid to follow most of them because of the fear of losing data.
Same here.
Wipping data is not working aswell.
Dunno what to do.

Hi @ironhydeq.
So, i own an OPO, stock, running COS 13 ( received update a few days ago). No ROOT, no Bootloader unlocked.
Today, early in the morning (My local time) I restarted my OPO because my Google Fit was not able to record my activity. After the reboot, i tried to unlock my phone, but it got STUCK. Freeze if you will.
I tried from Cyanogen Recovery to Wipe Cache, it did not worked.
I tried from Cyanogen Recovery to Wipe Data, it did not worked.
i do not the reason for wipping not working but i was scared. Because whenever a tried to boot into system, I was stuck at lockscreen
I tried to perform a wipe from adb, but adb shell was printing a "error closed". So i got scared .
I thought that i could fix my issue by performing a Wipe...
I Download the OPO toolkit. Put my device into fastboot, and unlocked my bootloader ( yes i void my warranty). After that, the toolkit installed the TWRP ( Custom Recovery ) with just one click.
Then i boot into recovery and perform a wipe. Phone was no longer stuck at lockscreen (actually i lost all data)
After that, my phone has been working great. (more than 12 hours from the issue)
Good luck mate.!
