Is there any kernel that suports loopdevice on G3?
Will it be created if there isnt?
Send from my:
-Samsung Galaxy 3
-Kyrillo's rom v9.3
-Fugumod ultra 1366Mhz (no lag)
no der is not any loop device kernel available i guess but To enable it, you'll have to build the appropriate kernel module and modprobe it into your system. The easiest way I know to do this is go to your Linux source tree, make xconfig (or menuconfig), select to configure loop device support as a module, make modules, and make modules_install. You may want to compile it into your kernel (not as a module) ....
Stop bumping old threads....
Cheers

Hello
My tablet is a TITAN 7010B.
RK2918
Like many other brands, Titan has not released the GPL. No respect to Android and its users.
Based on https://github.com/joaquimorg/android_kernel_rockchip_rk2918
I tried doing a kernel for my tablet.
I added the source code of the touchscreen and the sound chip.
The compilation stops near the end of the following error that is not how to solve
sound/built-in.o: In function `codec_set_spk':
last.c.text+0x1ba28): multiple definition of `codec_set_spk'
arch/arm/mach-rk29/built-in.o:board-rk29yf-power.c.text+0xb470): first defined here
make: *** [vmlinux.o] Error 1
Hello mate, i can't really help here since i've never compiled a kernel from scratch for a tablet ( i've just compiled linux kernel on my pc ) .
Btw if you just want a kernel to build a custom rom, you can extract it from your original rom

I am working to build a custom ROM for a "ruggedized" android device. One of the devices we are evaluating is an "Enjoy" W101. It is running Android 5.1. It says its kernel version is 3.10.65 [email protected] #3 from Tue Jul 26 06:12:55 CST 2016
The build number is W101_6735_4G_B4_V01_20160726
I am basically trying to figure out how to get from "stock" to a being able to build cyanogenmod or AOSP for it so I can start the customization process. Any hints would be greatly appreciated!
