sorry if this exists anywhere, but I didnt found something in the forum so I'll just ask for it
I heard that the Z3 is able to be used with a pencil.
I just tried this out with the standart draw app from the Xperia Z3 and it didnt worked.
Did I missed an option or something ?
Google don't found something or maybe I'm just too stupid

this works with previous Zs, but not the Z3. I think it has something to do with the new panel supporting glove mode but not pencil operation

I bought the Z3 because of that feature that's really dissappointing to me :/

I love the new S-View cover for the Galaxy S4, a phone I don't have. Obviously, Sony's not going to release such a cover for the Xperia Z, but is there any chance of a third party app/cover combo with this featureset?

you wont be able to get the screen awake feature unless you use the proximity sensor or camera which will kill your battery
such useless case
really
you want to see anything, just open case and phone, i m impressed how high tech is going to develop, they bring new creations for lazy people who want to do everything without lifting one's little finger
next step, sending messages without typing manually or your phone is wiling to prepare a coffee in the morning instead of only set as clock alarm
(just kidding but i heard they made a cofee machine that can be used through your smartphone, it has a tactile buttons aswell)

Hello, I'm new to this so i am sorry if this is in the wrong place i heard some guys dont like that.
So i recently just got the Xperia Z1 after i traded in my note 3, i wanted to change around a bit i didnt like the note 3 as much
anyway what i noticed i didnt like about the xperia was the album/gallery that it uses and i am already used to using the one from samsung.
i asked my friend about it and he said that i can ask someone here about it?
so if possible can someone send me the app or what ever yea i know about APK and rooting and stuff so dont worry that much, just tell me if i need root, i did use APK extractor on my girlfriends phone and then sent the apk to mine but that didnt work so just tell me what i should do.
also if you have the samsung stock browser that would be great also.
i dont like the xperia one which i cant find unless i do that multi task thing
and i dont like chrome much.

I use Gallery KK which is basically the same as the stock android gallery, and I've found it to just work, no nonsense or anything. It does cost 99c to remove the ad at the bottom which is quite annoying though.

Frankly speaking I'd not get it again. The best feature is the battery life. Other than that, everything else is yawn. And for a business phone there is too much eye-candy.
Hi, I know many of XL users have the problem that their camera just at once went down and doesn't work anymore. Well, I have a question around that.
My friend has a xperia M, she is almost fully broken (screen and lcd doesn't work after a hard fall) and I wondered how would it be to replace my camera with his. I know the XM has a 5mpx and XL 8mpx, I'm just wondering would that be possible? Or just the flat cabel to replace if it fits.
Any ideas are wellcome.

Is there any info,do we get new camera in Nougat,like a XZ and XP with full manual controls?
while it is mentioned in the latest video posted by sony xperia team, i don't really think it is going to be included for z5 (although our devices are equipped with the same sensor). At least, there's no announcement or indication that it is going to be included.

I saw that video and anouncement on Sony global and I am afraid that you in right.We can only hope so that wouldnt be like this cause same camera sensor,but I thinks that chances is minimal.

We don't know. Chances are no one will know. But so far other devices that got the update also got these features. There are no reason to think they're not going to be included.

Xperia X also get manual controls in Beta Nougat.Only for Z5 is unknown situation,but I think that we dont get that in update.

I think we will get this feature, because since the Z5 came out we wanted this also z5 has the same sensor as X and XZ

They must to prolong X series shipment.For that reason I am afraid we wont get that.Even if we dont get that its not a huge de except for low light/night photos.These option that we have now is enough for good daylight photography(exposure,ISO,focus mode,WB)
as much as i want it, yea, it is not provided in the nougat update
