Hi, Pixel Dungeon is my favourite game but I got a problem with it after i changed my phone from Xperia Z to OPO.
I can't continue my saved game. When i open PD i have to start from the beginning again OR if i'm "lucky" I can continue from the previous level where i left the game last time. Does anyone else have this problem and do you have any idea what should i do with this? I've been asking help from everywhere without success.
There's also problem with the sound. I can heard only half of the sounds and sometimes I can hear PD music/sound even after i quit the game.
Here's a video about this second problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUH1yY1VzK0
The problem was with CM11s and SlimBacon and with stock and Falcon kernel (I haven't tested anything else). I have rooted my phone but there's nothing else "extra".
Thanks in advance.
Sound issue sounds like the APP is missing parts of needed files or has got corrupt db entries. So the savegame... WhAt Android version did you have On z? I don't know the game, is your data stored online or did you migrate using titanium? Happened to me, that backups made with other apps but titanium didn't work as they should...
it was 4.4.4. on Z also. I didn't restore the game, i just downloaded it from play store and started to play from the beginning so no titanium backup or cloud services used. I heard that at least some OPO users haven't had those problems which is very weird!

Have any users of this ROM tried the Bard's Tale? On the Main menu screen (which looks like an opened book) I get graphic glitches and the display doesn't change when I click on any options. I hear the game respond to my click and seems like it is running in the back ground, but the display remains on this opened book with the bottom of it stuttering/flashing.
Any ideas?
I'm also interested in the results of anyone playing it on the Stock ROM because my wife's tablet is still stock, and that is an option for me.
Update: Tried game again last night and it seems to be working fine now.
Hi, I'm new to XDA, and french, so excuse me for my bad english...
Had the same problem on stock rom (ICS 4.0.3) on my transformer. It has been solved with a cold boot, It seems to be a known problem for asus, who is working on it...
source : can't post links yet, but visit the android support page on the inXile entertainment website...
After playing 7 hours, Bard's Tale refused to launch, I tried to reinstall the apk and redownload the entire 3,5 Go HD data after a TB backup, and this was not the solution.. the only thing I got was losing my savedgames that Titanium didn't backup... (savedgames are not saved with the data in TB, they are placed in the Android/Data/com.inXile.BardTale/files/SavedGames folder.)
Now, the game works perfectly, unfortunately, I'm too lazy to play again the 7 hours I have already done... may be I would keep playing if someone could share his savedgames. Before losing my savedgames folder, I just had finished the chapter V, forest tower. This game is awesome :good:
Hope this will help...
Hi fellow XDA's,
My girlfriends plays a lot of Tiny Station on my GNex, but every time i wipe my device, for installing new ROMs, it takes the save game with it in the fall.
I backup every app I have, including it's data and so on (I've tried with both TWRP and TB), but this games progress is still deleted, and my girlfriend needs to start over.
As far as I've noticed, this is the only game, where I loose the progress
I've put of flashing a new ROM for a while now, for the sake of this game, but I really want to flash the new AOPK ROM.
I've e-mailed the developer a couple of times, but they do not respond at all.
TL;DR: Can anybody help me figure out, where Tiny Station saves its progress?

Hey I was just wondering, some of the really cool games like iron man 3 and real racing 3 isn't compatible with the tf700. Would these games work if I were to root it. Or is there any other way for these games to work. Thanks a lot
Iron man 3 works, playing it now.
Rooting it won't make a difference. It won't suddenly become compatible in the play store.
Iron Man 3 plays fine, can't speak for Real Racing, not my type of game.
You have two options:
- Sideload it. Buy it on another device and transfer it to your TF700.
- Alternatively, there are thousands of websites who offer the apk. That's all I can say about it as per the rules on the board, I'm afraid. I know it's not ideal, and I don't particularly like the solution myself, but the developer doesn't provide another option, it's their own fault. If you want to know more, let me know (send me a PM).
I saw the option for side loading on my recovery and wasn't sure how it works. Would the function be similar to backing up an application in say, titanium back up, transferring that file to another device, and then running titanium again to install it? Or does it run the apk from there? Either way, these options may not work for games that connect to a server and check the compatibility of your tablet. That would require build changes in your system. I think Gameloft does this type of check. I was unable to transfer one of their games from my phone to the tablet for this reason.
I downloaded from the play store onto my Acer A500 and then backed up the app with ES File Explorer. Then copied the backed up apk to my tf700, installed it, and it downloaded all the needed files. Runs fine.

The former -- TB backups work fine for most cases.

That is correct.

Correct again. As far as Gameloft goes (I haven't played that many games on the 700) that would suck even harder because they a) make AAA-rated and popular games, and b) they are the main culprits in not properly identifying compatible devices (I believe most of their games run just fine when sideloaded, however).
I was unable to transfer one of their games from my phone to the tablet for this reason.

Obviously, you mileage may vary.
Compatibility of games
I've come across this problem a few weeks ago when trying to purchase Machinarium, which also identifies as incompatible.
I'm thinking it would be in ASUS' interest to have developers correctly identify their apps/games' compatibility with the TF700. Could we perhaps start a list of incorrectly identified compatible games from the Play store, and then could someone forward it to an ASUS representative?
My contribution:
- Machinarium
I side loaded the Real Racing 3 .apk
And its HORRIBLY broken, textures all over the place and sub 20fps to almost stuttering at times.
While browsing around the net, I've stumbled upon an article, saying that Fishlabs have released their game, Galaxy on Fire 2, optimized for Xperia Play. And how, not only it was XPO, but they've also thrown in Valkyrie expansion pack as a bonus!
This was 2 years ago and it was version 1.0.4.9. I've looked around for this version... but it's gone. Like, everywhere. Google App Store only offers Galaxy on Fire 2 HD, which is ages ahead and targeted at newer devices. I've checked it - it runs on Xplay with custom rom, but the touchscreen controls are catastrophe to play on Xplay. There is no way whatsoever of remapping controls to the gamepad.
As for the XPO version, for some reason, it vanished like a ghost. Literally all the links around the internet are dead. The only thing that's left are standalone APK files here and there, but they're useless, since downloading the game content with this version is not possible anymore - the server will not allow you to connect.
I don't understand - what's the point? It's not even piracy - the game is FREEWARE. Why would anyone go to such effort to delete the only version optimized for this device? Fishlabs got a deal with Sony to help in killing Xperia Play?
Anyways... What do you think? Is there still hope for playing this game on Xplay?
yeah, it's sad the support and old files for our (almost) retired xplay are slowly vanishing from the internet.
I just took a look on my backup and saw i still have the "data" folder, its named "Android\data\net.fishlabs.GalaxyonFire2\files\GOF2\GalaxyonFire2Valkyrie20111114"
something like 240mo is not biggie, if you want i can upload it for you somewhere.

I agree. I fell in love with this phone at first sight, and it really sucks it's losing interest.
I've sent you a private message.
I snagged this way back when it came out for my PLAY. Here is the link, I saved this too my gmail for safe keeping. I also have a backup of the apk and the files needed. As I recently replaced my Nexus 5 with a Nexus 6. I am curious if this link works for you,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.fishlabs.GalaxyonFire2
I also have the Dungeon Defenders as well:

Let me know if these do or do not work

Thanks, and so sorry for such a late reply... For some reason I did not get a notification about a reply to the topic.
Anyways, both links do not work for me. This is what I see upon entering:

Hi all,
2 days ago I started to use Bluestacks on my Windows 10 laptop and for a day it worked perfectly, truly flawless, I only play one game (Kritika) and that game had a major update and after that update the app starts but I keep getting this error message about xigncodehack detected or something.. So I tried yesterday evening to look for other emulators, to see if they had the same problem, but since there are more emulators out there than I thought, I don't know which one to choose which is best, personally I installed Bluestacks because it was the only emulator that I knew about, so my question basically is if anyone knows how to fix that hack error to play Kritika or if someone knows which Emulator doesn't have that problem and is better than BS? Also for if I wanted to play other games, it would be nice to have like a real android UI instead of the slimmed down version of BS imo..
Hope someone can help me?
