I have a samsung tab 3 7" lite (or sm T110.)
I downloaded the CWM recovery which was not a problem. The problem that I encountered however was that I was not able to get to it.
I did not know however, that when you push the power+home+volume up combination that it can take up to 60 seconds to get into CWM recovery.
Frustrated I downloaded an app to get me into the CWM. I downloaded "reboot recovery" by Qbanin from the playstore.
The app said it required root accces which at that point i did not have yet. the app however seemed to work fine.
The app led me straight to the recovery mode. However I am now unable to go back to a normal boot.
I can still get into download mode and or recovery mode but this is all my tablet currently does.
After this debacle i figured there must be some setting somewhere which enables this boot to recovery. So I started whiping the dalvik cache, the regular cache, I did a factory reset. and I also formatted the cache. I installed root acces from a .zip. I installed a custom rom (T110UEUANE4.Full.Rooted.Deodexed.June2014). But nothing helped.
Never did i get any warnings or errors.
I have been googling since friday and cant figure this thing out.
How do I get back to normal boot?
Please help me

Hello,
to all of you.
I need urgent help, actually, some days ago, my Galaxy tab 7.7 has stuck in a bootloop, the respected user UpInTheAir has helped me a lot by providing a needy guidance to me, actually, I didnt want to factory reset the tab because the data stored on the tab was very important, you can read more about this case here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530591, I tried very very hard to load custom recovery to the tab, so that I can take backup of the data, but all was vain, I even downloaded the official firmware and tried to flash the tab through desktop odin, and got successful messages of pass etc.but when the tab restarts they show the same symptom of bootlooping and all my data is still available on the tab, although I can start my tab in the safe mode, but that is also for 5 to 7 minutes after that it restarts automatically, during this time I can also connect my tab to computer and it shows there, so today I decided to reset the tab to get rid of this problem, I boot into the stock recovery and there choose the option wipe data/factory reset, it was successfully implemented but when I reboot my tab, it shows the same symptom of bootlooping as well as all my data is still present, same starting, same password, then I restart my tab in safe mode and choose the factory reset option from there, it restarts my tab into the stock recovery, there I again choose the option of wipe data/factory reset, but same happens, I dont know what happened to my tab, I think this is some kind of bug, because everything goes well just after restart the tab, everything comes out same as nothing happens. Please respected members, respected developers help me, I really need this.Suggest some way to me, so that I can get out of this problem.Hope to see reply soon.Thank You.

Hello,
to all of you.
I posted this thread in the hope to getting some help from some respected member, but after so many views, I think no one is willing to help, anyways, it seems the experienced developers and most respected members are busy in making their custom roms better, anyways, I hope some "NOOB" from some part of the world will help to solve my problem and able me so that I can install the custom rom from some "Experienced Developer".Thank You.

I don't think u can do anything about ur data. Too bad u'll be losing it.
Android 4.1.2 has already come out for our tablet. U can download either the Singapore, Malaysian or Indonesian version.
Flash the latest firmware via Odin.
Then go to stock recovery and clear cache and clear all data.
That'll give u a clean install. At least ur tablet will no longer bootloop. That's the only way that I can think of.
After that u can flash either a cwm or twrp recovery.
Remember to always keep a n android backup somewhere...
Buy a valid copy of titanium back up.
By the way, if u still have a cwm recovery installed, go to advanced and try clearing dalvik cache too.

Hey everyone, 1st off thanks to all the great people here that take there time to help and give back, much love and respect!
Can the mods or powers that be move this thread to the right place to get help or direct some experts over here.
So i have a Note 2, i was using it last night, and it just froze! So i waited and waited, nothing! I tried to power down, nothing, so i popped the battery out and it restarted and stayed at "Samsung Galaxy Note II"
I tried many many times to restart and power down, still come back to the same result!
My phone is:
Note 2 SGH-T899V (wind mobile)
I downloaded odin v3.09, i loaded samsung drivers, i downloaded T889VVLUDNE7 from sammobile.
I put phone in download mode, attached cable loaded file from odin(clicked and unclicked all the correct boxes) and everything "Passed" on odin
Phone reset and got stuck again on Samsung screen. So i
Pull out the battery, wait for about 1 minute and then put the battery back in its place.
Boot the device into Stock Recovery mode by holding down Volume Up, Center(menu) button and Power keys till the Samsung logo appears.Use the volume keys to scroll and power keys to select recovery menu options.
From the menu, wipe data by selecting wipe data/factory reset option followed by wipe cache partition. Finally reboot the system by selecting reboot system now.
and still it is stuck in Samsung screen.
I then installed CWM 6.4.3 with no problems, went into recovery wiped user and cache and installed zip from sd card. It would try and then "INSTALLATION ABORTED"
Re Downloaded zip tried again, same thing "INSTALLATION ABORTED"
Flashed CF Auto root, then went into recovery and tried to install from zip and "signature verification failed"
flashed CWM again, tried install "installation aborted"
Guys where am i going wrong, or what step did i miss? Please help!!!
Hi there,
I had a look around the Note 2 Q&A section for you and couldn't find the same specific issue. I'd suggest asking in the Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting for further help.
I think it may be an error to do with mounting the /system, this would explain why you can't boot or flash anything as they are both related to /system.
So it may be worth mentioning that as well!
Good luck!
I tried to do a system update on my rooted Verizon galaxy s4. I rooted woth towelroot have xposed framwork with about 10 modules amd safestrap recovery. Not sure if that would affect this.
Anyways I tried to do the system update to what I assumed was 4.4.4 happened the first week of November. Im currently on 4.4.2 and it got stuck in download mode. At the top had the typical could not do normal boot odin mode red writing. I disabled xposed before the update but forgot to unroot. My phine got stuck and I tried to boot into recovery and I got the error about "installing a custom os can cause critical errors press volume up to continue with download or volume down to cancel."
When I press volume down phone boots and all is seemingly well. Now I cant boot into download mode or recovery. All I can do is a normal boot or it happens as stated above all over again. When I normally boot im offered to go into safestrap but if get soft bricked or bootlooped again I will be doomed. The update file was labled xxx-Sdm 1.0 system update-xxx. I used titanium backup to freeze and then remove it but the problem persists. Any advice on how to fix this or any information would be greatly appreciated. Or if it will interfere with updating to lolipop as well. I would also like to know if I will still be able to root should I update to 4.4.4 or 5.0. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
You can try a factory reset to get back into the device. That will wipe your apps and data...
Or you can return to stock and try again,
> Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4 > Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development > [GUIDE] No-Wipe Factory Images (Restore from any soft-brick without wiping data)
Your problem could be cause of root... But definitely you can't do an OTA update without properly uninstalling Xposed first. That's why you're stuck now.
If you need further help, you can ask here,
> Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4 > Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

Hello all fellow developer, OP & members. I'am newbie here, sorry for trouble.... I trully need help, I have seen thread like this but no response Iam afraid I got no response too....
I recently bought this Note 3 chinese version because of its cheap price. It comes with gesture, steel stylush, internal 16gb, RAM 1gb, 5.7" screen. I buy this phone 2 unit, one for my mother, one for my gf.... but it turns out bad, my gf phone now stuck in bootloop..... use this phone not even a week jsut because of my fault !! I accidentaly soft brick my gf phone !!
Here's the story..... at first I back up my entire gf's SGS2 (official edition) using titanium backup and send it to Note 3 N9006 (china version) for my gf primary use, when I restore all it pop up 'force close com.android.phone' everytime this problem happen because I replaced the Phone App from Note 3 using Phone App samsung galaxy S2... this pop up will not appear if I do wipe chace on Phone App then restart..... I tried factory reset it doesn't help because I messed up with this Phone App that is categorized as system app that is embeded into ROM. Oh yeah after the Note 3 comes I rooted it using framaroot boromir exploit & it successfull can run any app root
I'am getting annoyed at this problem force close pop up, so I decided to install & restore original 'Phone App' of this Note 3 China version use different approach. I want do this to get rid of persistent pop up every time I restart, because sometimes I forgot to clear chace of this Phone App to prevent popup error. I have this Note 3 Chine Phone App backed up at first time, then I tried using app like CWM manager from playstore to install this Phone App' via CWM recovery install.... but it FAIL it says : siganture verivication failed. then AFTER RESTART I got stuck at samsung logo its definitelly BOOTLOOP problem. this is where I found out I'am in state of SOFT BRICK !!!! T-T
want to go to recovery mode, I tried key combination VOL_UP +Power. the interface shows up is all black, screen appear flipped rotated 180 degree from normal view, small font white color centered left aligned.
the menu is written like this
Select boot mode:
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK.]
[recovery mode]
[fastboot mode]
[normal mode] <<==
the VOL_UP is working, it can navigate through 3 menu, but VOL_DOWN can do nothing. holding Power button 10 sec is restart.
my current usb debug option state is OFF so I can't use Odin method.....
I don't know what to do now.... I've already ordered online USB jig to force download mode & the package it still on the way. But, I have googling around this whole week found out many said MTK based Android Phone don't have download mode & can't install it using Odin..... so I think my final solution using USB jig its just seems hopeless..... please help me guys I'am desperate.
I think if at least I can do this just one at lsit bellow, my phone will normally boot again :
- factory reset then wipe chace from recovery mode (every combination I tried always go to 'Select boot mode' or normal boot stuck at bootloop), if I just can do recovery mode al things will go back to normal after wipe chace then restart
- if possible after USB jig comes, enter download mode then wipe chace. restart. normal boot again (untested)
- if possible after USB jig comes, enter download mode then flash custom ROM, firmware, & everything restart. fresh install (untested)
. . . . in above list, I don't know how to do it
Hi,
You've made a couple serious mistakes here. First, installing system apps from another device to yours is never a good idea and sure to cause many issues. And, you're trying to use Samsung proprietary apps that rely on the Touchwiz framework to function on your device. That will never work, and as you've witnessed, can mess your device up very easily.
Doing these things can cause force closes for sure.... And have a good chance at bricking your device depending on what you try to install.
So, you're only hope here now would be completely wiping your device and reinstalling the stock software. No, don't use Odin... It's only for Samsung. Your device is not a Samsung, at all. And be sure the firmware is for your exact model number.
I can't find any relevant threads on this on XDA, but here is a dedicated thread on your device that you can ask for help in,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android General > [Clone] HDC Galaxy Note 3 N9006
Good luck!
Specs
Samsung galaxy tab 2
Verizon 7.0 lte
Towel root
I was on the tablet messing around not with files but just browsing the Internet and tablet takes a hit like something shocked it. Went to black screen when it came back up it will only go to the Verizon screen and stop there, everyone says it's a boot loop but not so sure. Towel root was only a couple of hours old .so no recovery on my part, I have tried factory reset, wipe cache. Wipe cache factory reset. Everybody says this will take it out of a "boot loop" but I'm not sure this is what this is. I've been having some issues with finding some tracking files on this tablet so wondering if someone is remotely accessing this tablet also. Please help don't know what to do..

Well no it may not technically be bootlooping. First things I do when getting a new device, find root, find custom recovery, root, and install custom recovery, but doesn't matter now.
Probably need to reflash stock firmware

I would be tempted to download the latest Stock ROM for it from an XDA developer thread and cleanly flash it using ODIN.
If it still wont boot then, then I would suspect a Hardware Issue. Either way a complete flash with Odin will Fix or prove the situation. Good Luck
Only place to find the stock firmware is from Samsung.
If Odin recognizes your tab you may be able to flash.
Your network tab ( LTE ) has no support in xda and all the tab2 wifi variant roms and recoveries that are listed in xda will super brick what's left of your tablet.
I think it's time for a new tablet.
