[Q] Changing the app name font color - Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed the MOAR rom last night. Seems snappy, and I am very happy with it short of one thing. All the apps have the name below the icon in black. I cannot see it . I am not sure it is directly related to the MOAR ROM, but I need to change the color. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Ted

You mean within the TW Launcher?
That's shouldn't happen, especially after a fresh flash. Something you got installed has to be giving this effect. No one has ever reported this issue, nor have I seen it myself.
Using a different launcher? Xposed Modules? Ect......

I ended up going back in and flashing the TW launcher with the stock 4x3 grid vs the 5 across I had started with. A quick dirty flash and I am back to white. A side note I should have posted was the black letters were very hazy looking, but the reflashed white are crisp.

[THEME][MOD] Galaxy S i9000 [ROM] CM6 Beta

This is a complete themed CM6 rom with a few mods.
How to install:
1. Backup your current rom.
2. Wipe. (If your coming from a CM6 Rom you may not need to wipe. I don't but, I recommend that you do).
3. Install.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that lock screen.
Thanks Touchpro! My current rom right now and I really like the theme color. Can this be flashed over current Nightly build that has led notfication working? Appreciates your works and Red Bull on your way.
I really like the theme for the most part but wish you could get rid of all the green and replace with the neon blue. Also while I'm making demands could you add some transparency to all of the widgets, now. Just kidding, great work and will be keeping an eye on this to see where you take it.

I haven't tried to flash it over the nightly builds. You may be able to flash it over the nightly builds but, I doubt you'll have all the same features working. Backup and give it a try.

Sorry, I will not be updating this theme at all. You can try looking for a 3rd party app that does that.
Figured out how to add the percentage in the battery, nice add. Question though: How can Adrynalyn's Second Wave ROM with Sense use LESS battery than this one without Sense? Generally after a work day's usage with the Second Wave ROM my battery was between 80%-84% now after using this ROM it is between 60% and 65%? Just curious if it needs a different kernel or something.
I dig this theme. I'm having one issue though: every time I try to change volumes in settings, it FCs. Anyone else have this problem?
im really diggin this theme its really colorful lol. i did notice that when your getting an incoming call the slider for answering calls is a little off the screen on the left. is that normal? or is it a bug?
oh and i have adw on with the droid x theme do you think thats affecting it?
i have the same problem please fix

Nexus S 4g screen washed out...

This is my third refurbished Nexus S 4g in two weeks!!!
Does anybody screen looked washed out? When I see my screen my greys look faded, my greens are dull, etc... Is there anyway I can fix this without going to the sprint store? I'm really tire of going there.
Well, it would help to know if you're stock or rooted. If you're stock you could try rooting and installing a custom kernel and adjusting the colors with voodoo control app until they look good. There's a thread in themes & apps with some good starting points for settings. Or you can go back to sprint. If you are rooted then see my first suggestion above. My screen looks pretty beautiful.

ICS notification area

Hi, I just installed ICS on my N7000 and Go Launcher Ex. Everything is perfect, except one small thing that is bugging me. I previously had CM 9 v7 and I loved the transparent notification area, the stock blue one. The current one is the dull, grey one GB had. Is there any way I could change this ?

try to post this question at "Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A" dude

[Q] More Vanilla Feel?

So, as I'm sure most of you have noticed, Verizon screwed us a little on the status bar and icons (not transparent when it should be, etc). Other than the xposed module tint bars (which I felt didn't really do it well last time I tried it, since its in beta), is there a non intrusive way to fix this? Root or nonroot ways.
Hmmmm I've tweaked the tinted bar module and the translucent bar module (meant for nexus 10 but works on any), and seem to do a pretty great job, but I'm open to suggestions

Did you see this thread? I didn't actually try it. I have root, but don't really feel like messing with system files.
I tried the translucent bar module meant for Nexus 10 on Xposed, but didn't notice a difference in the stock launcher. Maybe I did it wrong?

which thread? nothing showed up, but are you referring to the one in the Moto X Forum and changing out the systemui.apk's and such? I don't feel comfortable with it terribly. I was chatting with one of the product directors for the Droid Maxx last night on G+, and that was one of the more requested updates for the Droid line's next update, sooooo... hoping Motorola defeats VZW's douche-ness on killing vanilla
LOL, I'm an idiot. Here's the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2595704
Sounds like a similar procedure to changing out systemui.apks and stuff.

yeah, i think its the same guy who posted it in Moto X, except without the flashing... Idk. If it doesn't come out in the next month or so (4.4.2), I might do this. But this is definitely better than flashing, thanks!

Did I miss a thread about the forums here, and some changes?

I've always run the "Dark 2015" skin on the forums, and earlier this week I've reverted to a light theme.......and what looks like a newer layout. I can successfully move from one skin to another, but my 2015 and Dark 2015 are one in the same in my view. Just wondering if this was something being mended or even upgraded, or if I am just a moron and need to clear out my Chrome cache and start over.
TIA to anyone else who has noticed or might know the solution I need. :good:
Noticed this a day or so ago myself. Not sure what the issue is.
I can't even select another theme, the option is gone totally for me.
I had the dark theme set and when I refreshed it switched to white only.
This 'white-all-the-things' fad is an absolute killer on the eyes.
A huge regression if permanent.
Ok, glad I'm not going crazy. Hopefully if its just a forum update, it will get ironed out soon.
I did switch back to XDA 2013......which is almost identical to the layout the 'Dark' theme was for. Until we get another functional dark.......fingers crossed.
My dark theme is back working today, thankfully.

Tried it after you posted, works like a champ!
Yes, the issue appears to be fixed now. Going to close this thread now.
