Yeah, here, but not much else to say. No custom rom anywhere, and not even the official rom is nowhere to be found.

Hey everyone,
I am looking to purchase a new android phone as my old HTC Dream finally gave out on me x.x
I have been looking Repeatedly at different phones for over a week now, I am still having a hard time picking one out...

And yes, i realize they are all china phones, but hey, the chinese android epad works better then the motorola xoom in my opinion.....

I guess there simply is no root as this device is quite new.
But i could not resist to get a Retina Android pad as the screen is the only thing i like on the iCrap Pads...
So is there any info about this pad out there ? How to root ? Anything ?

this is stupid, but i learned that the X900 is rooted out of the box
So i do not know how to root it but i do not need it.
(there is a slim chance that blind fumbling with the app "ZhuoDaShi" did it but i dont think so).

I am looking to upgrade the firmware on this tablet, I thought initially it was a rebadged tablet based on some other piece of kit but, by the looks of it, having had a mooch round the interwebs, this is not the case.
Can anyone else with more experience shed any light on it, or would a stock cyanogenmod firmware work?
Any help would be much apreciated

Hi guys. Got myself a Zenfone 7 and bought 2 different USB-C to 3.5 mm DAC's now.
None of them are compatible.
I called Asus and they could not answer or offer me a product for this.
Anyone out there that actually have a Zenfone and a DAC that is working?
I'm sick of buy and try so any tip would be highly appreciated if someone got a Zenfone 7 and a DAC for 3.5 aux and headset.

Apple USB-C to 3.5mm works. The one from iNassen works too.
I'd use the Apple one since it doesn't have background noise unlike the iNassen one

I'm stock. The Apple one has a lower volume tho. But it seemed loud enough with my earphones
