Hi guys. Got myself a Zenfone 7 and bought 2 different USB-C to 3.5 mm DAC's now.
None of them are compatible.
I called Asus and they could not answer or offer me a product for this.
Anyone out there that actually have a Zenfone and a DAC that is working?
I'm sick of buy and try so any tip would be highly appreciated if someone got a Zenfone 7 and a DAC for 3.5 aux and headset.

Apple USB-C to 3.5mm works. The one from iNassen works too.
I'd use the Apple one since it doesn't have background noise unlike the iNassen one

I'm stock. The Apple one has a lower volume tho. But it seemed loud enough with my earphones
Awesome. Will go for the apple to start with =) I think it will make me happy. Do not need much power. =)

When I ordered my MHL adapter from T-mobile it was in the accessory section for the HTC Sensation under "Data" but I went there to get the link for you and it isn't there anymore. I would guess to just keep looking every so often.
It's probably sold out on the tmo site.

i Bought a Samsung MHL cable, wich says that it should be comatble with Sensation!
But to begin with so i have to restart the sensation to get it working

Why no sound?
I have a Samsung one, works great with my Sensation - only problem is small glitches in the Sense homescreens and app drawer, but within apps its perfect and sound is good.

There is a nother wich is nummber 1 insted of 2! eia1uhunbecstd
Wich one do you have?
Either my Sensation is bugging or its the adapter wich is wrong! I have to conform this fast so i can return the adapter in 5 days!

Thats the one I have - you do know that you MUST have a power source plugged into the adapter to make it work right? So far I've seen someone else with the same problem, and that was the bit of information he was missing.

You should see the same video I did with the SGSII - bluetooth mouse support makes it even better! If only the Sensation had proper bluetooth mouse support, its extra screen resolution via MHL would make it amazing for VNC/RDP applications!

now i have retuerned the cable and will wate for the HTC cable!
For some strange reason the HTC cable is about 300 Swedish Kr in here and the samsung is 200 kr!!!

You will need an MHL adapter such as this one sold by T-Mobile. Pretty much plug-n-play.

I was looking for one too. Anybody?
I use a pair of "Android" ones from a HTC Nexus One. The quality is outstanding for what they are, with inline answer call/next track/previous track buttons and a microphone. All work with my Milestone 2 - and all work well - so I highly recommend picking up a pair on eBay or Amazon.

At last I got a hands free kit from that i took that micro usb to 3.5mm audio as jack for my tg01 from a local market at the rate equalent to 3us$ and it works well.
Any handsfree kit works with tg.
Hi guys i have a question, i am looking forward to cheap dac/amp build and leaning forwards to fioo q1 mark ii. Am aware it is built for idevices but people managed to get it to work on android devices as well. But they say that andoid devices need isochronous mode activated. I couldn't managed to find any threads or articles about how to check that mode. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I have a fiio e17 old version and i use it alone as usb dac-amp or together with my fiio e12 . I havent tested it with nokia 8 yet but it works with usb audio player pro that i use . Since nokia 8 has not line out mode so you should buy something like that dac with amp (fiioe17k ) i dont know about that mode you tell (isochronous) .before you buy a usb dac-amp make a research if it works with your favorite music player
