Re-start the "bcmon" project, in particular for the A0001 - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I know this is my first post and I hope this is the right section of the forum.
I'm searching for a Developer or much more to restart the bcmon project, I tried to compile the drivers for the "One" Wi-Fi chipset but without lucky( I'm not skilled enough)
So, my request is this:
A kind developer can teach me how to do that while he develop a useful app for the community?
Thanks to everyone that will reply every post is useful!
P.S
I've already ask for this in the official forum but it seems there is no one interested in this.
And also I'm quite active there, my Username is the same so you can contact me there if you prefer!
Thank you again , and for moderator if I post in the wrong section move my post

Welcome to XDA.
Most requests made by users are not fulfilled by developers.

Thank you
I know , but at least i tried,
I think XDA is the best place to find a bored skilled programmer with nothing to do
So I have just to find him ( or her)...
Ehm at 99% is a "him"

Most skilled programmers on xda are probably busy......

I know this is a "secondary thing" but i haven't lost hope
And i see this like a way for me to learn a lots of new things...

Pretty certain you will never get bcmon working on OnePlus One.
It requires a certain type of chipset, such as the one in the Galaxy S3 I9300, Nexus 5, and a few other devices.

I was thinking that the chipset is compatible and it was only a missing driver or configuration, anyone know how is it?

..nice if BCMon works on usb RTL Chips... Try That.

Dev help

Hey all, I wanted to start Android app development as a hobby. I am very comfortable with C++, but I know that Java is necessary for Android. What parts of it will be important, and could you please recommend a good tutorial? Thanks.

I have been trying to get into making live wallpapers myself. I have been asking everywhere about what I need to learn to make a live wallpaper. I have no idea where to start or what to learn. I have posted several threads and ask devs in the market to & no one wants to tell you anything about where to start or what to use. I really don't understand why no one wants to help, especially here on a Developers website. Hopefully we can get a Senior member to give us some good tips.

Raspberry Pi Section?

I think it would be a nice thing to have a place at xda where all the raspberry owners / developers could discuss, like it's going on for so many devices every day. The Pi is a pretty nice thing in my opinion and as there is a possibility of running Android on it, the need for a section is even bigger. What do you think of that idea? Let me know please by answering on this post

Research Thesis Project

Want to help me with my thesis project by installing my research app on your android phone? My research involves finding malicious code on smartphones, and all the app will do is collect some data about normal power usage on your phone. All the data is totally anonymous and you won’t have to do anything once it’s installed and you’ve agreed to run it in the app. I would really appreciate your help! Anyone who’s interested can find it on the play store here: Malicious Code Detector http://goo.gl/9pNFi Tell your friends!
I have also posted this request for volunteers in the Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 4 general forums as these are the latest two google reference phones they are ideal for my project to run against; however, I'm looking for as many participants as possible so regardless of your android device if you are interested and willing to help please do. Let me know if you have any questions/feedback. Thanks.

If it wasnt for XDA, I would have several bricked phones, and no knowledge at all.. xD
I like the opportunity that XDA creates. It creates an environment where people can not only display and share their work but also where people can come learn and become developers. If not for XDA most of our eyes would still be closed. Huge Thank you to the staff and many devs on XDA!

XDA Developers is in my opinion the best forums related to android and smartphone subjects. Here you can find a solution of a "deep", complex problem because there are many experienced members. Many of them develop things too.
One of the best places to get android based tech resources and help. Keep it up. Cheers.

Well we are here to help you navigate through xda. A quick Google search finds plenty to choose from but I would assume you have done this. Is there something specific you are looking for? Or what are you trying to accomplish?

I've done that. Like I use code blocks now for c and c++. I guess I'm locking for something with a lot of options

Fair enough, I would suggest asking in developer tools forum or peek around there for some recommendations
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tools
Otherwise you may find some help in the general q&a forum as there are always plenty of people lurking here to help

Best of luck!
