help me how can i fix this? got the phone yesterday and update it to 38r didnt test befor update
but i put in it vibrate mode and i still hear notifications sound not loiud but its still there.

In sound option
U have link all sounds (notification and ring volume) and there under is a option link silent mode (silent mode affects notifications) u need to un tick link ringtone and notification volumes, than tick on silent mode affects nofitications (the case under the link all volums case), and than re enable link all sound (if u use that option afcors) and that worked
well, how did you fix it?

Please explain how you fixed your problem. Just saying 'never mind I found it' makes this thread completely pointless. The entire point of a q&a section is to have information available so the next person who has the same problem will know how to fix it.

Its just that i dont know how to remove a thread found a awnser in the lg optimus g forum
Wierd is that i never had to turn on that option.
I dont need explain as there is a awnser on xda.
Just happy it worked

Why remove the thread? That's exactly what I was talking about, did you not read what I just said?
You do need to explain, explaining here will make the answer easier to find for the next OnePlus One user who has the same problem. Put yourself in their shoes, do the right thing here.

but the wierd this in on cm10.2 on my lg optimus 2x i have never ticked the silent mode affects nofitication case. but guess on higher android need this.

or turn on your bluetooth then turn it off it works too i had the same problem that's why i switched to 5.0.2H

For some reason that app isn't permanent for me. im on 5.0g

lol sorry i found out about the fix after i posted this by going thru some threads, and i dont see that thread stickied plus i didnt know wether it was a baseband problem or not as my data and texts were working, and i also didnt have any poping or clicking noises so i wouldnt have even looked at that thread to begin with

i did, and it wasnt i was trying to find an answer for over a day before posting.....
I am having HTC Desire-S I love this phone the only prob that I am having is that notificatns bar doesn't slide down... To see notifications I have to press options button on homescreen from their I click on notifications even I am able to slide it up... but problem is I am not able to slide it down to see notifications.. I have to come to homescreen and then press options button... My bro send this phone to me from UK its vodafone unlocked and on 2.3.5 Rom.. I am having this prob since my bro has sent me this phone... Any how plz plz plz help me to access notifications.. I have even tried to soft reset by pulling out battery and even I have factory resetted.. nothing worked.. I am attaching screenshots which shows software and kernel version of phone...
Dude - edit the OP and change the damn font. It is very difficult to read when you do stupid things like that and I'm not even going to bother trying to read it and help you.
There is a default font setting which is perfectly adequate for most things, so I'd suggest you use it if you expect people to take you seriously.
And as this is the 6th different type of phone about which you have posted asking for help since you joined in October 2011, I have serious doubts about what you are actually doing.

XDA may be the best source of assistance, but you just come here, ask for help and then leave - you have not attempted at any point to help anyone else or to be part of the 'community'.
The answers to all your questions are out there already - search on Google, it's not difficult.
........... This Thread is not being monitored by @scrosler and it is not for any CleanROM 8.2 updates as "scrosler" has retired from the S3 scene for other work. I believe you can still download the last CleanROM 8.2 from "scrosler" closed Thread or from his website.......

Why don't you get his blessing and then make it make clear that this is an unoffoffical support thread maintained solely by fans of scrosler's work.
If you wanted to bang out the logistics before creating the actual thread, General probably would have been better.

I basically told you the exact same thing in your thread that you opened up a week ago...
I said the exact same thing, get his blessing first without using his rom name in the title. If you don't get a response you shouldn't open up a thread that has his Rom name in the title. People can ask questions individually without a specified tech support section.
You have my blessing to do as you need....
So is CleanRom still being developed? Was looking at trying to out
Sad to hear that CleanRom wasn't going to be supported on the GS3 anymore. It was a great ROM, and Scott was always supportive as a dev. I think the idea that folks are banding together to support each other is a great idea. Good luck... and if Scott is lurking... thanks for all you contributed with CR!!
It's still a great Rom. Everyone should try it.

Anytime you post and need feedback subscribe to the thread and set to send instant email. That is how I know when to beam in.

This might be coincidental, but after updating to 8.2, my screen started weirdly dimming to almost nothing anytime I walk into bright lighting. Anyway hear of this? Thanks!

Do you have power save or auto brightness enabled?
I did, and it was working, but even if I turn them off walking into sunlight causes the phone to immediately go super dark. It's very weird.

It is Amoled. Can't ever see them in the sun. Never been able to see mine in direct sunlight. Have to find shade.

There is no mod in the rom that would change it. If they changed it in base 4.3 it is what it is.

If powersave and auto brightness is off and brightness is at 100% it won't change. The sensor should be disabled. If either is on it will will darken in any light. I run mine at 100% all the time.

That's the weird thing, it's still changing when I go in the sun. It's very odd. I'll try wiping everything and reinstalling it all. :crying: Thanks guys!

Well to be honest you are not wrong there.
Even with the latest fixes (latest .xml) it's still kind of a hit and miss with the "OK Google" command on the OnePlus One.
But, as you probably know, there is already a thread for this issue.
Maybe a friendly mod could move our to posts over there and merge them.

Well this is weird.
I did not open this thread, someone else did.
I was just making the second post in it and I was telling the OP that there already is a thread for this issue.
Then I reported the thread with an explaination, why it should get moved.
Now I wake up and the OP's post is gone and mine is still here and now I'm the OP.
