I'm not sure if this is a 1+1 issue, or an issue with these particular apps but.....
Whenever I insert my car's 3.5mm jack I get a few issues:
1. I get a message that says "Headphones disconnected"???
2. Playback on my favorite audio apps stops. Google Play music/Umanno.
3. If I receive a call while the jack is connected, then disconnect to answer the call, speaker phone becomes enabled??
The only way to get playback restarted is to kill the apps, start another app that has sound, then restart the apps.
On the surface it seems like an issue with the apps. But it's also effecting the phone?? Anyone else experience this?

About same here. No audio out of my headphones at all. My OPO sound will still come out of the main speakers, or sometimes inserting the jack will stop the music all together.

Guys I encountered a strange problem on my phone.
The sound output has completely stopped working, i.e, the speaker doesn't play any kind of sound now (no songs, no notification sounds, no ringtones, absolutely NOTHING!).
Also, when I make a call, I'm unable to hear the dial tone. And I am not able to even listen to the other person's voice during call.
It was fine in the morning today, until I connected my phone to a speaker to play a song. After that the sound stopped working. Has it got to do anything with the fact that I connected to the speakers? Because when my friends connected their phones to the same speaker, they encountered no problems whatsoever.
P.S : Whenever I play a song, or any audio in my phone now, i get a small "hsss" sound near the speaker. I get a similar sound when I call anyone.
Someone PLEASE solve this problem for me ! I need to answer calls and it's a very big problem for me if I can't get it fixed soon
Hey all. Whenever I'm in my car my phone is connected to bluetooth so I can receive calls. However, Google Maps voice prompts default to bluetooth. The problem is that if I'm listening to FM then the voice does not come through the speakers (this is an issue with the system in my car). In those cases I want to have the voice prompts come through the phone speaker, but I can't find how to change it from bluetooth. It seems that if my phone is connected to bluetooth then I cannot play prompts through phone speaker. Anyone know how to change this?

I think if you go into the bluetooth setting and press the settings button for your car conenction and uncheck media audio it should stop the maps voice prompts being sent to the car. It will also stop you sending music to the car as well though.

Yeah that works thanks. It's not a very good solution tho. I should be able to have my voice instructions go to my phone speakers regardless of whether I'm streaming music or not. And I shouldn't have to change a setting on my UVO to stop it from going to bluetooth. Thanks tho.
Every time i plug in my heaphones that have no controlls connected to it, my phone reads them as if they did have controlls. When i move the wire a little, iether the track skips or pauses and sometimes google voice commands opens. Is there a fix for this problem. I tried an app that forces the phone to think that is a regular headphone plug but that had no effect other than the speakers didnt work. Please let me know if there are other ways to fix the proble?
I have the ATT version(D850).
Firstly, I would just like to clarify that I am not talking about the autoplay when connecting to a bluetooth device (in my case, it's my car stereo). I actually really like that feature and would like to find a solution to my issue that doesn't disable that, if possible. The problem I am having is when I receive a phone call, whether I answer it or not. Let's say, for example, I was listening to my music and pulled into a gas station. I pause my music so as not to bother others while I run inside real quick. While I am in there I get a phone call. When the caller gets sent to voicemail and the call ends from my phones side of things the music starts playing again. While it does work as a great way to know that I missed a call while I was out of my vehicle it does pose the problem of disturbing others around. Not sure if it is relevant, but I use several different apps for my music (YouTube, LiveXLive, Google Play Music, etc.) I have tried the option I saw on here of disabling autoplay entirely by rerouting the request through a different app when first connecting to a bluetooth device (can't remember the name of the app) but since the device is already connected and I have been listening to music already when the call comes in I'm pretty sure that is being overwritten when I start playing music. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
TLDR
1. Phone connects to car stereo via Bluetooth
2. I start listening to music
3. I pause music
4. I receive a phonecall
5. After call (even if not answered) music automatically starts playing again <-- *this is the part I want to fix*
Hello
I am using Sony WI - XB 400 bluetooth earphones. While it connects fine and I watch movies, listen to music etc. The microphone of the device does not work with third party applications like voice recorder, discord, etc.
If I make a call and keep the phone in my pocket the mic of the bluetooth device works fine. However if I simply open up a voice recorder and keep the phone far away, so as to force it to use the bluetooth mic, no voice is recorded. The same goes while I try to test micrphone in discord settings. It detects nothing if I speak on the bluetooth mic/ tap on it, but if I tap on the phone's inbuild mic or talk into it I can see the mic working.
Anyone faced such issues?
I'm using the huawei freebuds 3 and apple airpods daily with my nord. The microphone works fine for me, people hear/understand what I say. Could it be that your microphone permissions need access? Check that out before you proceed.
But you talk about recording, are you using some kind of call recording software? If so I can tell you this is not possible without root. I have searched and tested several apps but recording quality is verry bad in such a way it's useless. I have not rooted my phone yet, so I cannot say anything about how it works when rooted.
