Son's phone and was doing a lot of research to try and fix, confused. He tried updating something and now it just cycles. Tried the phone software to reset to factory, but I think there's nothing there. So was going to flash the software (still figuring it out) but to start with, I need the USB connection to be recognized. Computer end (windows 7), using Motorola drivers, just fails. Reinstalled, etc, no change. Tried multiple times. It's like the phone's dead, therefore it thinks it's not there. And the phone is on, just cycyling, and fully charged.
I can get to the fastboot and it says it's ready to program but still no connection with device driver.
So is there a way to flash using just the sd card, not the usb? Sorry, probably a very basic question here.

Hello. I have problem tablet Overmax Quattor 10+ (my friend give it to me, becouse she pushed too hard power on button, so I had to open tablet and repair it by home-made solution). Everything gone perfect, tablet went on to the PIN screen. I asked her if she know it, but she said that the tablet hadn't any PIN secure. I was searching a lot how to crack PIN (not for SIMcard, just Android secure), but I didnt find anything so I started to install software again. I downloaded everything from here : overmax site. After download I pressed HomeButton connected to PC, program has found the device and asked me to format or not device. I pressed yes, the formatting went to 4% and device has disconnected (I didnt touch the USB cable or something). After this tablet couldn't boot (nothing show on screen), when I try again to format it, the program show info, that the Tablet or system image is incorrect. Windows detect the device in Device Manager. Anyone have solution for this?

Hello everyone I'm new to XDA, and a total noobie when it comes to tablets and computers. I have a tablet which was purchased over 1 year ago from one of the shopping on the internet sites, it was supposed to be a Wondermedia WM8850. 7" tablet.
But it turns out to be a Eken Mid 7 W70 GSL.1680.Z7Z67 030A. It is showing just a blank screen you can see that the light is on in the back ground but it doesn't respond to anything. I have tried all the button pressing, run battery till empty, and then recharged, but it won't respond. I did get it to go into recovery mode once but it wouldn't go any further. I thought I would ask if anyone had had the same problem and was able to solve it. Thanks for any information, its much appreciated. pin62.:fingers-crossed:

You likely need to try flashing the stock firmware again. But I can't find anything relevant on XDA for that. You can ask in the following section about it, or you can try contacting the manufacturer about firmware and flashing instructions.

First of all, this is an awesome site..! so much support.
I went to load MOFOROOT onto droid turbo, the cable go unplugged in middle of process.
Turbo has been stuck in bootloop ever since.
Using windows 8 and I have used every resource to try and get the phone to connect to computer so I can reload stock ROM. The drivers will not load to the phone.
I have used USBDeview.
I have done partition clean.
I have wiped/factory reset
I have tried RSD Lite - which will not find the device
I have tried connecting it to PC through recovery mode.
My biggest issue is not being able to load correct drivers. Which may never happen so JTAG?
No matter what procedure I try from every forum, I do not get the desired outcome that most do.
What do I do?
any ideas?

I am using an infinix zero phone (mtk device) which runs on android 4.4.2 and it got soft brick when I was trying to install chain fire 3d pro when the phone rebooted and got stock on the boot loop. Please can adb view my phone under stock recovery mode since the USB debugging in not enabled. If it can't detect it, in which other way can I retrieve my phone without losing the my dates in the phone.

Due to removal of some system files the phone shows "sorry Google not working......sorry browser not working.....nd so on" even after factory resetting. Android. Os is 2.3.3 gingerbread. The mobile is not connecting to pc using usb cord due to its port problem. No clockwork recovery is installed its just rooted and bricked (phone repairer is unable to connect the phone to pc). Please suggest any solution.
