Check this file and see images for install driver in W7. Remember, install this as administrator. Installation also depends on the version of w7, it is x32 or x64.

Don't worry about that "unknown device"
You can connect your phone and continue to Flash.
If driver is not there for your phone then SP Flash Tool will keep on searching for your phone.
If driver is installed then SP Flash Tool will continue and start Flashing your phone.

Hello All,
I tried both on window 7 & 8; 64 bit and procedure as mentioned by the OP is perfect; however i am posting it again here
1) Download the flash tools from anywhere preferably most updated one: SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.01
2) Download the recovery which ever you like TWRP / CMW (I tried both of them now and they are working for me on MMX A110)
3) In your desktop / laptop please ensure you allow installation of unsigned drivers (youtube will help for this)
4) Download and install MTK6577 Drivers for your device (this will only work after you clear step 3)
5) If still not working, download USBDEVIEW (usb driver remover) and run it as "Administrator" uninstall all the USB drivers relevant to your device and repeat above steps
6) Now connect your phone, with portable media option selected in USB or the default mode. Let it install and finish
7) Once done switch-off your phone while it is connected through USB (Again this will install a driver which will look like MTK65xx something...
8) Remove the battery of phone let your PC install the driver again (battery not plugged in, only phone connected with USB). You will see for a shot time that charging icon will appear on phone and disappear; this will install something in the background again on your PC
10) To confirm this, put your battrey again back in your phone with USB (still) connected to PC
11) go to system manager of your PC and look for MTK 6577 something ... something... driver
12) Now disconnect your phone and switch it on
13) Start the flash tool
14) Select the recovery option only in tool (TWRP / CMW / LEWA Whichever you like)
15) Click download
16) Connect your phone (which i assume is switched on), once you connect switch it off (no need to remove battery or anything)
18) Look at the status bar of your flash tool (nothing to worry, no need to do anything)
19) RED Bar -> Yellow Bar -> Green Ring
20) Disconnect
21) Reboot in recovery (TWRP / CMW / LEWA) is flashed...

Plz can anyone post video tutorial of installing this rom do favour
I've followed ALL the instructions word for word now and still can't get it to install the MT6577 drivers correctly. I've tried the OP's method as well as apoorv.mehrotra's method. Have rebooted my PC now 28 times! Still can't get it to work. I have exactly the same problem as everyone else - the phone appears in device manager for 3 seconds then disconnects suddenly. Even the legacy installation method does not work. I've tried on a Windows 7 64-bit machine as well as a Windows XP 32-bit machine - exactly the same outcome each time.
Help!
It worked on my windows 8 x64. To install these drivers you need to bypass driver signature enforcement. Follow the instructions at http://www.craftedge.com/tutorials/driver_install_windows8/driver_install_win8.html
Hello Guys,
I had a little trouble back there Installing the fastboot drivers with Windows 8 x64 system.
It looks like Windows 8 Only Installs the driver after verification on signature check.
I solved the problem after much reading... thought a guide would help others.
In case if you are facing the same problem, follow the steps below.
______________________________________________________________________________________
The steps to install a unsigned driver on windows 8 is as follows.
1. From windows 8 control panel choose General –> Under “Advanced Startup” –> Restart now.
Now the system will restart and might take some minutes to show up the boot menu. Wait for It patiently.
After some time you will be prompted with a menu with following options.
1. Continue
2. Troubleshoot
3. Turn off
Choose Troubleshoot
Then the following menu appears.
Refresh your PC
Reset your PC
Advanced Options
Choose Advanced Options
Then the following menu appears
System Restore
System Image Recovery
Automatic Repair
Command Prompt
Windows Startup settings
Choose Windows Startup Settings, then Click Restart.
Now the computer will restart and the boot menu appears.
Choose “Disable Driver signature Enforcement” from the menu.
Now windows will start and you can do the installation of the driver that is not signed.
thank you! used the guide for another driver but worked :good:
This guide needs update. It should be on the side bar click settings. Then at the bottom click pc settings. The option is not in control panel

Is this still valid in Windows 8.1?
After installation of the driver, will it stay installed?
Means: After reboot, will it still be useable or do I have to choose “Disable Driver signature Enforcement” again?

if it help tell me
Yes it does support Windows 8.1
I flashed some MT65xx devices using Windows 8.1 using SP Flash Tool
But in order to install the drivers you have to disable driver signature enforcement in Windows.
You can find numerous tutorials on the internet teaching you how to do that with pictures. Use Google
but here's an easy way :
1) Put your mouse on the upper right corner so the menu appears.
2) Choose Settings.
3) While holding the SHIFT button on your keyboard , use your mouse to choose Power then Restart.
4)Choose Troubleshoot --> Advanced Options --> Startup Settings --> Restart.
5) After your computer restarts and shows you a list of options press F7 on your keyboard.
6) Wait until it boots and then install MTK drivers you can do that by connecting the device then opening device manager and clicking right click update ..choose browse ..and browse to your MTK drivers directory then click next.
I don't think he was asking for the tutorials, but for the actual drivers!
Hi Guys,
I am writing this tutorial on how to install usb drivers for sp tools on pc for our Magnus device. I and my friends struggled a lot in installing these drivers so this is to help my other friends.
This will help even if you are not getting any popup or phone in device manager list.
Below are the steps, will also attach screen shots to make it easy.
1.Go to Control Panel and open Device Manager
2.Right click and select Add legacy hardware (also can be from from Action menu)
3.Add hardware wizard will be opened, click next
4.Select "Install hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)"
5.Click next and click Have Disk option
6.Click browse and find where your driver .inf file is (download from the link attached at end of post), then select it. (I selected usb2ser_Win764.inf, select usb2ser_Win7.inf if its 32-bit)
7.Click Open/Ok You will see drivers listed... Select your driver there and click next and finish installing. I have used Mediatek PreLoader USB VCOM Port.
8. Hit that thanks button on left
For Windows 8.
If you are getting error like: “The third party INF does not contain digital signature information”, you need to disable Driver signature enforcement in windows.
1. Open the Charms Bar, select “Settings” --> “Change PC Settings” --> select General
2. Scroll to the bottom of the General page and select “Restart Now” under “Advanced Start-Up”
3. Once the PC comes back up, select “Troubleshoot”
4. Select “Advanced Options”, select “Start-Up Settings” and select the Restart button
5. Press the F7 key (or the number 7 key) from your computer keyboard. This disables the Driver Signature Enforcement, which will allow you to install unsigned drivers.
After the PC reboots, install the drivers normally.
Will try

Hi Friends,
This is my first post at XDA.
I unfortunately bricked my Panasonic P81 after rooting it and adding XHalo app and the boot manager app from the Xposed Framework.
The situation is as follows-
I can get to the logo, it screams Panasonic and then doesnt boot. I dont have CWA installed and worse, my SD card which had my stock backup is also lost. This means I need a mechanism to stock recover and perhaps flash boot.img and recovery.img?
I am stuck at this point, not sure how to proceed. I can get to recovery, have cleaned cache, backed up user data ,done a factory reset. Even after factory reset it still cant boot.
Please help me with a step-by-step instruction to recover, this phone is dear to me. How do I flash?(boot.img or rom) I have downloaded Sagar Patel's (good bless him!) backup and the images, but need guidance on how to flash and recover.
Please help friends and apologies for any incovenience. I am still a newbie

Hope drivers are installed properly in your pc.
If you are going to use sp flash tool, Make sure SP flash tool is set to auto-detect com port, not manual selection
If you find that it is driver problem, following may help you.
Please note that there is nothing that much hard in driver installation as it is just to connect your device with your pc but because many users still face problem of driver installation, you can try following tricks!!!
It is observed by me that driver installation and adb interface problem do not happen in windows XP as eventually and generally it is happened in windows 7 and later…so, you can simply try on windows xp if you are able to do so…(you can use dual operating system too!!! Or good relation with neighbor/friends/colleagues/someone/all can be beneficial here!!!)
Note that all tricks here are not necessary to work, but it may still work for you….
Take one by one step, if the first step does not work for you, only then try next step. This is not all steps to be taken at once type guide…This is simply Try and error type tutorial/tricks…
There are following problems I have come to know regarding to driver installation and conflicts:-
Device is charging through usb cable but there is no usb option displaying on either device or no driver installation box/message/pop up appears in pc….
Missing sound of that usb-pc connection
Sound of disconnection after couple of seconds of connection
Adb interface is missing
Ok, sometimes changing usb connection type for example, from mass storage or mtp to camera, ptp, usb tethering or something else can bring adb interface…..
Try with different USB Cable. You can use original nokia or samsung tiny cable instead of cable having long length. Sometimes, length matters!!!!
Try in different USB Port.
Sometimes, you have to disable signature verification in your pc for proper installation of driver.
Had you disabled your antivirus before downloading, installing and while running your tools/softwares? You may need to do so…
Have you installed the software (or say, all associated softwares/tools) in C-System drive?, if not, then you should first install required software/tools in system drive that is usually C drive in Microsoft-Windows OS…or try after installing them on desktop.
Keep all necessary files/tools (driver files, flash tools, rom etc…) on desktop.
Download proper driver According to your model/device, According to chipset inside, According to Official site of manufacturer, Official site of chipset, through PC Suite/flash program of your device…
If the problem still not solve, you should try all available driver packages of your device one by one whether from official site of chipset inside your device, or any forum, adb, pdanet+ or foxfi, universal driver, VCOM Port driver, drivers from hexamob through play store, and find all possible packages and see if someone make positive result after installation…
If the problem still not solve, you should install remaining update packages of your system (PC) including all primary, secondary, essential, Non-essential updates….whatever, just install them all….reboot your pc…and see if problem is solved….
If you can connect the device but somehow found that device driver still not installed properly, just go to device manager in your pc, click on portable device, right click on your device and apply “Update driver”. Click on “automatically search” when a window prompt ask you.
If the problem still persists then,
Just remove all the drivers using usbdeview (I have given link also to download usbdeview in earlier post)
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B511A2txfpAPbmwtQXZqbnVlT1U&usp=sharing
Install usbdeview and remove all the drivers
You can also fix this by showing the nonpresent devices in devicemanagement (google for show nonpresent devices for explanation)
Go to com ports, and delete all mediatek drivers except preloader driver. Now start over. It can help if you choose the same usb port where you had success last time.
Use Usbdeview to uninstall all the drivers before connection, restart the pc, Extract and keep driver zip files and other useful files/tools on desktop…just start your tool… and try to perform your tasks like backup…or restoring the backup…without worrying about that sound of disconnection you may listened after couple of seconds of connection or don’t even worry if you are just missing that sound of usb-pc connection….just try on your tool…
If still problem of driver installation persists, then simply use usbdeview and uninstall all drivers, restart your pc and try following steps:-

If you want to turn off device driver signing in Windows completely, do the following.
Windows 7:-
1. Hit the Win+R keys together to open the run dialog
2. Type gpedit.msc to open the local groups policy
editor

5. In the right panel, double click on ‘Code Signing for Device Drivers’

9. Click Apply, OK. Restart your computer to install unsigned drivers
Windows 8
1. Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and press the letter C to open the Charm menu, then click the gear icon (Settings)

8. Click Restart
9. After restarting your computer a second time,
choose Disable driver signature enforcement
from the list by typing the number 7 on your Keyboard Your computer will restart automatically.

unsigned drivers normally; however, Windows
will display a warning message. When the
warning appears, click Install this driver
software anyway. )
1. Install USBDeview and use it to uninstall all Vcom, Mediatek and Preloader drivers
1b. Extract the contents of the Mediatek USB VCOM file

3. Click any of the device groups (any of the items on the list) you see there, and then from Action menu, select Add legacy hardware
4. Add hardware wizard will be opened, click next
5. Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)
6. Click next two times and click Have Disk button
7. Click browse and find where your driver's .inf file is, then select it (the .inf you'll select is located in drivers > USB Vcom driver > your OS) . Ensure to select the 64 bit .inf if your PC is 64 bit
8. Click Open and OK. You will see the drivers listed.
9. Select your driver there (select Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM Port)
10. Click Next and finish installing
11. If SP flash tool or other software still dont detect your phone then also install Mediatek DA VCOM (consider installing more from the list of drivers one at a time if need be)
Try in different PC
Sometimes windows XP works when windows 7 fails!!!
Case:-
It did the same thing with my MT6577 (Wiko Cink PEAX), so I connected it with a battery and without holding VOL+. Then "MT65xx preloader" appeared in device manager then disappeared (once). It is normal that it disappears. When you start Flash_tool and when you click Download (or whatever you want to do) THEN you connect the phone (in off state), and the flash operation will succeed.
Guess what? Once my Panasonic P81 could install driver and got detected after approx. 5 hours of continuous connection with win 7 x64!!! Meanwhile, I tried first usbdeview and then manually installation of mediatek driver but manual installation had failed as my p81 was only charging when it was connected with pc….So, mediatek – windows 7 conflicts….but, when I tried tiny (very small) nokia usb cable, it works instantly…
If you ever meet problem when you connect your android with your pc via usb cable and find that your android is charging but could not recognize or there isn’t that options of “USB connection” then just disconnect your android, power off it, remove battery, connect it without battery with your pc through usb, let it have some time to recognize your android or hear that voice of “usb connection” you were just missing…after that, insert battery and switch on your android…you are done!!!
Sometimes removing both sim cards and battery and then re-inserting them after a couple of seconds also works.
Try with different USB Cable
Try in different USB Port

Use usbdeview to remove all the usb devices and then add your device

In my opinion MIUI is best because it has a self large community like xda and launch updates per month so many that you will fed up installing them.....if you download and install one update you will be amazed that it will say 3 more system updates pending......and if you complain a bug next month it got fixed.....only thing is to find one...
PS don't download the miui 6 for p81..complained by many p81 user that it hard bricked the device.
And that miui is not official i.e. some developer made his own one and DO not tested that it works or not......
