[2] Smartphone is switched off, and still dont connect via USB to the PC.
[3] Open Device Manager and leave it open!
[4] Your switched off Smartphone with inserted rechargeable battery via USB connect now on the PC, you should now see a MT65xx preloader in the Device Manager.
(With some MTK6577 Smartphones should be installed without battery. Please before hand inform.)
[5] now launch the Installdriver.exe from the unzipped MT6577 USB VCOM drivers folder. Confirm the installation of unsigned drivers
[6] now! (W7 x 64 this confirmation comes later in the manual installation!) After the installation is complete, you have no entry in the Device Manager, it is correctly!
[7] PC reboot!
[8] Open Device Manager and open the switched-off Smartphone via USB to the PC release, now connect (same USB port!)
[9] Now a MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM should appear for a brief moment in the Device Manager entry!
[10] At the moment the entry double click and click on "Update driver" under the tab "Driver".
[11] With the wizard in the unzipped MTK 6577 USB VCOM drivers navigate and select the folder for your operating system.

Check this file and see images for install driver in W7. Remember, install this as administrator. Installation also depends on the version of w7, it is x32 or x64.

Don't worry about that "unknown device"
You can connect your phone and continue to Flash.
If driver is not there for your phone then SP Flash Tool will keep on searching for your phone.
If driver is installed then SP Flash Tool will continue and start Flashing your phone.

Hello All,
I tried both on window 7 & 8; 64 bit and procedure as mentioned by the OP is perfect; however i am posting it again here
1) Download the flash tools from anywhere preferably most updated one: SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.01
2) Download the recovery which ever you like TWRP / CMW (I tried both of them now and they are working for me on MMX A110)
3) In your desktop / laptop please ensure you allow installation of unsigned drivers (youtube will help for this)
4) Download and install MTK6577 Drivers for your device (this will only work after you clear step 3)
5) If still not working, download USBDEVIEW (usb driver remover) and run it as "Administrator" uninstall all the USB drivers relevant to your device and repeat above steps
6) Now connect your phone, with portable media option selected in USB or the default mode. Let it install and finish
7) Once done switch-off your phone while it is connected through USB (Again this will install a driver which will look like MTK65xx something...
8) Remove the battery of phone let your PC install the driver again (battery not plugged in, only phone connected with USB). You will see for a shot time that charging icon will appear on phone and disappear; this will install something in the background again on your PC
10) To confirm this, put your battrey again back in your phone with USB (still) connected to PC
11) go to system manager of your PC and look for MTK 6577 something ... something... driver
12) Now disconnect your phone and switch it on
13) Start the flash tool
14) Select the recovery option only in tool (TWRP / CMW / LEWA Whichever you like)
15) Click download
16) Connect your phone (which i assume is switched on), once you connect switch it off (no need to remove battery or anything)
18) Look at the status bar of your flash tool (nothing to worry, no need to do anything)
19) RED Bar -> Yellow Bar -> Green Ring
20) Disconnect
21) Reboot in recovery (TWRP / CMW / LEWA) is flashed...

Plz can anyone post video tutorial of installing this rom do favour
I've followed ALL the instructions word for word now and still can't get it to install the MT6577 drivers correctly. I've tried the OP's method as well as apoorv.mehrotra's method. Have rebooted my PC now 28 times! Still can't get it to work. I have exactly the same problem as everyone else - the phone appears in device manager for 3 seconds then disconnects suddenly. Even the legacy installation method does not work. I've tried on a Windows 7 64-bit machine as well as a Windows XP 32-bit machine - exactly the same outcome each time.
Help!
It worked on my windows 8 x64. To install these drivers you need to bypass driver signature enforcement. Follow the instructions at http://www.craftedge.com/tutorials/driver_install_windows8/driver_install_win8.html

Still showing the same error: "S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)". Please tell me what to do.
Another thing, when I connect my A25 phone without battery, the device manager list updates itself every two seconds: once it shows the preloader vcom port and then in the next refresh there's no vcom port and this process repeats. Any idea why?

Follow the below approach to install the drivers on Windows 8:
1. Go to the right bottom corner of the desktop and wait for the side menu to appear. When it's there click on the gear icon with the title "Settings".
2. Now click on the entry "More PC Settings", then click on the entry "General".
4. Scroll down to "Restart now" (under "Advanced startup") and click it.
5. Wait a bit for a menu.
6. Now click "Troubleshoot", then "Advanced Options" and after that click "Windows Startup Settings".
7. Click on "Restart" and wait for the profit to happen.
When the computer restarts, select the option "Disable driver signature enforcement". After it finally booted into the operating system you can install the unsigned driver. After you've installed the driver reboot once again and you're done.

It did the same thing with my MT6577 (Wiko Cink PEAX), so I connected it with a battery and without holding VOL+. Then "MT65xx preloader" appeared in device manager then disappeared (once). It is normal that it disappears. When you start Flash_tool and when you click Download (or whatever you want to do) THEN you connect the phone (in off state), and the flash operation will succeed.

Well.
I've posted in other similar threads today but its because i really need help - running out of alternatives.
I've partially bricked my THL T200 - it is stuck in bootanimation after i removed gallery.apk from the rom using TitaniumBackup.
Already tried all those flash methods in different sequences (with battery, without battery) but my phone just connect\disconnect all the time - i can't even install the VCOM driver.
I've TWRP installed - is there any rom for this phone i can flash using this.
All i want is go back to stock.
Thanks in advance for any ideas !

FIRST HAVE YOU UN-INSTALLED ALL THOSE DRIVERS THAT ARE PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED IN YOUR PC?
AFTER UN-INSTALLING FOLLOW THE STEPS MENTIONED IN THAT THREAD.
AND SECOND...IF IN 5th STEP NO DRIVERS ARE BEING INSTALLED THEN SIMPLY JUMP TO 6th STEP.
OH YES...I FORGOT..
SIMPLY CONNECT YOUR PHONE IN SWITCH OF MODE AND PRESS AND HOLD THE VOLUME UP BUTTON.THIS WAY YOU WILL GET INTO META-MOD AND SP FLASH TOOLS WILL DETECT YOUR PHONE AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FLASH RECOVERY.
AND AS THIS PROBLEM IS RELATED TO DRIVERS ONLY.....IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DISCUSSED IN THAT THREAD AND I DON'T THINK THERE IS A NEED FOR A SEPARATE THREAD. .......so it will be better to discuss in that thread and close this one.

Sorry didn't got you : that mtk drivers has no way to install.
Simply download and install these-:
download and install the following drivers on ur pc.
VCOM DRIVERS
LINK: http://db.tt/ZKY7S9hw
MTK DRIVERS
LINK: http://db.tt/pQY576b7
CYNUS T2 DRIVERS
LINK: http://db.tt/oDLxs839
And then.. click on device manager(on the left).if ur device is listed under adb devices then u have successfully install drivers. But if it is listed with a yellow sign under unknown devices then right click on it. Select update drivers and locate to the folder c/program files/micromax
this folder includes drivers and that will be installed.
HOPE THIS TIME IT HELPS YOU.
don't mind..... i don't know why but i am thinking that you are going somewhere wrong.
Because that meta-mod should have worked.
But also there can be a hardware problem (though it's chances are very less)... So still to check that change your usb driver and also usb port.

Create a new windows user with admin privileges and connect the phone and install drivers. After drivers are installed please use spflash tool. It will work.
Sent from my Micromax A116 using xda premium
okay, first thing you need to do to install vcom drivers is to disable the mandatory digital signature enforcement in windows 8.
(Yeah this is a stupid thing msft started with windows 8, the VCOM drivers are not digitally signed so windows won't install even if you have admin rights.)
Step 1. Go to the right bottom corner of the desktop and wait for the side menu to appear. When it’s there click on the gear icon with the title “Settings”.
Step 2. Now click on the entry “More PC Settings”, then click on the entry “General”.
Step 4. Scroll down to “Restart now” (under “Advanced start up ”) and click it.
Step 5. Wait a bit for a menu.
Step 6. Now click “Troubleshoot”, then “Advanced Options” and after that click “Windows Start up Settings”.
Disable the digital signature enforcement and boot onto windows.
To install vcom drivers, right click the file(64bit or 32 bit) and select install.
As for the bin4ry tool, it doesn't work on jellybean for rooting. You need to install custom recovery and flash the supersu zip file.
Hope it helps.

I too faced this problem once when i had bought a new canvas...but it was soon solved by installing drivers.
But your case is damn different.
Here i see no solution....
And please don't flood the inbox with same messages buddy.
I have a busy schedule these days and don't get enough time for xda.
If bootloader is locked then in any case your phone won't brick.
-download drivers or install by connecting your phone
-connect phone & start SP tool (without bettry)
-start download on flashtool after loading scatter file
-insert bettry
Hit thanks ,it doesn't cost anything
Hi Friends,
This is my first post at XDA.
I unfortunately bricked my Panasonic P81 after rooting it and adding XHalo app and the boot manager app from the Xposed Framework.
The situation is as follows-
I can get to the logo, it screams Panasonic and then doesnt boot. I dont have CWA installed and worse, my SD card which had my stock backup is also lost. This means I need a mechanism to stock recover and perhaps flash boot.img and recovery.img?
I am stuck at this point, not sure how to proceed. I can get to recovery, have cleaned cache, backed up user data ,done a factory reset. Even after factory reset it still cant boot.
Please help me with a step-by-step instruction to recover, this phone is dear to me. How do I flash?(boot.img or rom) I have downloaded Sagar Patel's (good bless him!) backup and the images, but need guidance on how to flash and recover.
Please help friends and apologies for any incovenience. I am still a newbie

Hope drivers are installed properly in your pc.
If you are going to use sp flash tool, Make sure SP flash tool is set to auto-detect com port, not manual selection
If you find that it is driver problem, following may help you.
Please note that there is nothing that much hard in driver installation as it is just to connect your device with your pc but because many users still face problem of driver installation, you can try following tricks!!!
It is observed by me that driver installation and adb interface problem do not happen in windows XP as eventually and generally it is happened in windows 7 and later…so, you can simply try on windows xp if you are able to do so…(you can use dual operating system too!!! Or good relation with neighbor/friends/colleagues/someone/all can be beneficial here!!!)
Note that all tricks here are not necessary to work, but it may still work for you….
Take one by one step, if the first step does not work for you, only then try next step. This is not all steps to be taken at once type guide…This is simply Try and error type tutorial/tricks…
There are following problems I have come to know regarding to driver installation and conflicts:-
Device is charging through usb cable but there is no usb option displaying on either device or no driver installation box/message/pop up appears in pc….
Missing sound of that usb-pc connection
Sound of disconnection after couple of seconds of connection
Adb interface is missing
Ok, sometimes changing usb connection type for example, from mass storage or mtp to camera, ptp, usb tethering or something else can bring adb interface…..
Try with different USB Cable. You can use original nokia or samsung tiny cable instead of cable having long length. Sometimes, length matters!!!!
Try in different USB Port.
Sometimes, you have to disable signature verification in your pc for proper installation of driver.
Had you disabled your antivirus before downloading, installing and while running your tools/softwares? You may need to do so…
Have you installed the software (or say, all associated softwares/tools) in C-System drive?, if not, then you should first install required software/tools in system drive that is usually C drive in Microsoft-Windows OS…or try after installing them on desktop.
Keep all necessary files/tools (driver files, flash tools, rom etc…) on desktop.
Download proper driver According to your model/device, According to chipset inside, According to Official site of manufacturer, Official site of chipset, through PC Suite/flash program of your device…
If the problem still not solve, you should try all available driver packages of your device one by one whether from official site of chipset inside your device, or any forum, adb, pdanet+ or foxfi, universal driver, VCOM Port driver, drivers from hexamob through play store, and find all possible packages and see if someone make positive result after installation…
If the problem still not solve, you should install remaining update packages of your system (PC) including all primary, secondary, essential, Non-essential updates….whatever, just install them all….reboot your pc…and see if problem is solved….
If you can connect the device but somehow found that device driver still not installed properly, just go to device manager in your pc, click on portable device, right click on your device and apply “Update driver”. Click on “automatically search” when a window prompt ask you.
If the problem still persists then,
Just remove all the drivers using usbdeview (I have given link also to download usbdeview in earlier post)
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B511A2txfpAPbmwtQXZqbnVlT1U&usp=sharing
Install usbdeview and remove all the drivers
You can also fix this by showing the nonpresent devices in devicemanagement (google for show nonpresent devices for explanation)
Go to com ports, and delete all mediatek drivers except preloader driver. Now start over. It can help if you choose the same usb port where you had success last time.
Use Usbdeview to uninstall all the drivers before connection, restart the pc, Extract and keep driver zip files and other useful files/tools on desktop…just start your tool… and try to perform your tasks like backup…or restoring the backup…without worrying about that sound of disconnection you may listened after couple of seconds of connection or don’t even worry if you are just missing that sound of usb-pc connection….just try on your tool…
If still problem of driver installation persists, then simply use usbdeview and uninstall all drivers, restart your pc and try following steps:-
There are various ways to install proper drivers at the time of connecting the device with pc depending upon how you connect it.
Follow the procedure both with and without battery
Simply plug in via USB Cable
Connect by holding volume down button
Connect by holding volume up button
Connect by holding Power button
Connect by holding power and volume down
Connect by holding power and volume up
Connect by holding both volume up and down button
Connect by holding thrice volume up, down and power button
Connect by holding power and home button
Connect by holding power and menu button
Remember which method works and which drivers are installed
in LAN-Devices you may have different android device
Select/set drivers by hand and use the mtk usb driver, now Flashtool finds the phone
Suppose holding volume down method without battery works for you then what next you have to do is as below:-
1.TAKE THE BATTERY ,SD ,SIM OUT OF THE PHONE
2.HOLDING VOLUME DOWN CONNECT IT TO PC VIA USB(ONCE YOU HEAR A SOUND FROM PC YOU CAN RELEASE VOLUME DOWN)
3.OPEN DEVICE MANAGER(ON COMPUTER SEARCH IT OR CONTROL PANEL)
4.WAIT FOR 2-3 MINUTES
5.YOU WILL HEAR A SOUND & OTHER DEVICE WILL BE DISPLAYED
6.IN OTHER DEVICES ->MT65XX PRE-LOADER
7.RIGHT CLICK MT65XX PRELOADER
8.UPDATE DRIVER
9.LOCATE THE DRIVERS PROVIDED ACCORDING TO YOUR OS(VISTA,WIN7,XP)
10.IT WILL DO ITS STUFF
Install Mediatek drivers, preloaders, VCOM port etc…
Manually Install MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers
Requirement:-
1. Download MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers
2. Download USBDeview
Here is the link from you can get it:-
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B511A2txfpAPbmwtQXZqbnVlT1U&usp=sharing
Procedure
(* Note: You might need to disable drivers signature verification in Windows for this to work smoothly.
If you want to turn off device driver signing in Windows completely, do the following.
Windows 7:-
1. Hit the Win+R keys together to open the run dialog
2. Type gpedit.msc to open the local groups policy
editor
3. Expand ‘Administrative Templates’ (it’s under ‘User Configuration’)
4. Expand ‘System’. Click ‘driver Installation’
5. In the right panel, double click on ‘Code Signing for Device Drivers’
6. Choose ‘Enabled’ in the window that appears.
7. In the underlying options, choose ‘Ignore’
8. This disables drivers signing in Windows 7, and now you can install unsigned drivers in Windows 7.
9. Click Apply, OK. Restart your computer to install unsigned drivers
Windows 8
1. Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and press the letter C to open the Charm menu, then click the gear icon (Settings)
2. Click More PC Settings
3. Click General
4. Under Advanced Startup, click Restart Now
Note: In Windows 8.1, the ‘Restart Now’ button has moved to ‘PC Setting -> Update & Recovery -> Recovery.’
5. After restarting, click Troubleshoot
6. Click advanced options
7. Click Windows Startup Settings
8. Click Restart
9. After restarting your computer a second time,
choose Disable driver signature enforcement
from the list by typing the number 7 on your Keyboard Your computer will restart automatically.
10. After restarting, you will be able to install
unsigned drivers normally; however, Windows
will display a warning message. When the
warning appears, click Install this driver
software anyway. )
1. Install USBDeview and use it to uninstall all Vcom, Mediatek and Preloader drivers
1b. Extract the contents of the Mediatek USB VCOM file
2. In Windows, go to Control Panel and open Device Manager
3. Click any of the device groups (any of the items on the list) you see there, and then from Action menu, select Add legacy hardware
4. Add hardware wizard will be opened, click next
5. Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)
6. Click next two times and click Have Disk button
7. Click browse and find where your driver's .inf file is, then select it (the .inf you'll select is located in drivers > USB Vcom driver > your OS) . Ensure to select the 64 bit .inf if your PC is 64 bit
8. Click Open and OK. You will see the drivers listed.
9. Select your driver there (select Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM Port)
10. Click Next and finish installing
11. If SP flash tool or other software still dont detect your phone then also install Mediatek DA VCOM (consider installing more from the list of drivers one at a time if need be)
Try in different PC
Sometimes windows XP works when windows 7 fails!!!
Case:-
It did the same thing with my MT6577 (Wiko Cink PEAX), so I connected it with a battery and without holding VOL+. Then "MT65xx preloader" appeared in device manager then disappeared (once). It is normal that it disappears. When you start Flash_tool and when you click Download (or whatever you want to do) THEN you connect the phone (in off state), and the flash operation will succeed.
Guess what? Once my Panasonic P81 could install driver and got detected after approx. 5 hours of continuous connection with win 7 x64!!! Meanwhile, I tried first usbdeview and then manually installation of mediatek driver but manual installation had failed as my p81 was only charging when it was connected with pc….So, mediatek – windows 7 conflicts….but, when I tried tiny (very small) nokia usb cable, it works instantly…
If you ever meet problem when you connect your android with your pc via usb cable and find that your android is charging but could not recognize or there isn’t that options of “USB connection” then just disconnect your android, power off it, remove battery, connect it without battery with your pc through usb, let it have some time to recognize your android or hear that voice of “usb connection” you were just missing…after that, insert battery and switch on your android…you are done!!!
Sometimes removing both sim cards and battery and then re-inserting them after a couple of seconds also works.
Try with different USB Cable
Try in different USB Port
Try in different PC
Sometimes windows XP works when windows 7 fails!!!
Use usbdeview to remove all the usb devices and then add your device
Find proper driver of your device:-

In my opinion MIUI is best because it has a self large community like xda and launch updates per month so many that you will fed up installing them.....if you download and install one update you will be amazed that it will say 3 more system updates pending......and if you complain a bug next month it got fixed.....only thing is to find one...
PS don't download the miui 6 for p81..complained by many p81 user that it hard bricked the device.
And that miui is not official i.e. some developer made his own one and DO not tested that it works or not......

First, install the Mediatek Vcom driver on your computer.
Mediatek USB Vcom Drivers: Download and Manually Install MTK Preloaded USB VCOM Port Drivers on Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/Xp.
Mediatek is one of the most popular and used mobile chipset, it powered numerous Android smartphones especially those produce by Chinese companies. MTK devices are easier to root and changing of IMEI on them is super easy when compared to other chipset. This article will guide you on how to install mediatek USB vcom drivers on any windows computer/Pc which include Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Vista, Xp and Windows 10.
Vcom driver is an essential tool that must be installed on your Windows PC before you can flash a custom ROM, install firmware upgrade or most importantly when trying to unbrick your mediatek device. Without mediatek USB Vcom Drivers properly installed on your Windows 10 computer, SP Flash tool or any other recommended tool will not be able to detect your MTK device like Tecno, Infinix, InnJoo, Xiaomi, Gionee etc. Without these tools detecting your device, there won’t be flashing or upgrading of ROM.
Now that you know why installation of Mediatek Preloaded USB Vcom port driver on your Windows Pc is important, below are the necessary things you should do before initiating the installation process.
1.) Disable driver signature enforcement: It is a security measures Microsoft put in place to avoid installation of unsigned/unrecognized drivers. Since Mediatek USB vcom drivers is not digitally signed, you have to permanently or temporarily disable it before you can install MTK Preloaded USB Vcom driver. To avoid to much digression, please check our previous post for this guide.
2.) Computer: Your Pc must be running either Windows 10, 7, 8.1, 8, Vista or XP to install the MTK preloaded driver.
3.) Mediatek USB Vcom Drivers: Off course you have to download the driver before you can install it. Visit (https://www.datafilehost.com/d/309cd7f0) to download MTK port driver. Works for all MTK65XX including MTK6582, MTK6592 /MTK6589 / MTK6577.
4.) Guide: To have a successful Installation of MTK Vcom Port driver, follow the steps below thoroughly.
How to Install Mediatek USB Vcom Drivers on Any Windows Pc.
Step 1: I will assume you have already downloaded mediatek usb vcom drivers from the URL posted above. Extract it content to your desktop using WinZip, 7Zip or any extracting software installed on your Pc.
Step 2: Hold Win + R key to launch the Run dialogue box >> type devmgmt.msc and click on OK or hit Enter key to open up Device Manager. Alternatively, you can also open Control panel >> Search for Device manager >> Double click to open it. Windows 10 users can also right click on the start menu and click on Device Manager.
Step 3: Click on your Computer name or any other installed driver >> Click on the Action tab >> Select Add Legacy Hardware.
Step 4: A new Windows will Pop saying Welcome to the Add Hardware wizard, Click on Next.
Step 5: From the new page, select the second option that says Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), then click on Next.
Step 6: On the Next screen, make sure the Show All Devices option is selected and click on Next.
Step 7: Click on Have Disk on the Next Screen >> Then click on Browse >> navigate to desktop or the folder you extracted the Vcom drivers into.
Step 8: Open it and navigate to USB VCOM drivers >> Select your version of Windows >> Select your System type either 32 bit or 64 bit >> Click on Open. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 users should select Win 7
Step 9: On the next screen, select MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM Port and click on Next. Click on Next again to initiate the installation process and select Install this driver software anyway when prompt.
Step 10: Wait for few seconds for the installation to complete. You might see error like this device cannot start. (Code 10), ignore and click on Finish.
That’s it, Mediatek USB Vcom Drivers has been successfully installed on your Windows PC. You can proceed to flashing of Custom or Stock ROM, upgrading of firmware and unbricking of any bricked MTK device.
- Start by extracting the TWRP recovery file for your Note 3 Pro to your folder of choice. Am assuming you already downloaded the specific one from the links provided above.
-Then extract the SP flash tool also to a folder of your choosing then run the run the flash_tool.exe as administrator.
-Open the extracted SP flash tool folder, locate the SP flashtool .exe file and run it as an administrator, click the scatter-loading or browse option, depending on the sp flash tool in use, then navigate to the extracted TWRP recovery folder and select the txt recovery image for your device labeled scatter.txt.
-Once it loads up, Untick all the other options as you don’t need them and only select recovery.
-Before going to the next step, make sure you have turned on USB debugging on your device. You can do that by navigating to the Settings then Developer Options. Turn it on by checking the box after USB DEBUGGING.
-Turn off your phone, click the Download button of the SP flash tool. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable from the manufacturer and the download will start.
-The process of installing the TWRP recovery tool on your device will begin and end when you see a green button. Unplug your device.
That is the first stage. The next stage is the most important so stay attentive.
Step 2: How to root Infinix Note 3 Pro
-The first stage is moving the SuperSu.Zip file to the internal memory of your device or to an SD card in your phone. Advised to copy it to the main folder.
-Boot your phone into recovery mode. You can do that by pressing and holding the power and volume up buttons together. In this mode, your arrow keys will be the volume keys while your power button the selection tool.
-From the options on the screen, choose to install from sd card.
-Locate the SuperSu.Zip file then select it using the power button.
-The process of rooting and flashing your phone will begin after the selection of this file.
-Following the completion of the installation of the SuperSu.Zip file, reboot your device using the power button.
Congratulations, you have just rooted your Infinix Note 3 (Pro)! You may have noticed that to root Infinix Note 3 Pro requires two main stages. Be sure you follow them strictly since they only work in that order.
Note: Incase you brick your infinix note 3 or note 3 pro phone in the process and you are unable to power it on, you can download the INfinix Note 3 Romor here and note 3 pro rom and flash it on your phone using the Infinix SP flash tool downloaded above to restore your phone. Make sure you use the specific Rom to your NOTE 3 phone.
the end i hope some one here made a cus rom for the phone .
Important
Already tried this method 2 weeks ago , I would like to add that , you have to flash the su zip file after flashing the custom recovery whatever it was , (I installed CTM recovery),to avoid the boot loop, don't start you device , just flash the su zip after the recovery
I HAVE A PECULIAR PROBLEM! I have an Infinix Note 3 X601, updated to Android N, Rooted and Philz Touch 6. 59, 0 custom recovery installed. Problem began when I tried to factory reset it from within the settings, the phone rebooted to recovery to wipe the data, and since then it wont boot to system again, whenever i try to boot it to system, it will go to recovery. if i connect it to pc, the pc wont recognise it, the pc will show a message that the USB device is not recodnisd, and the phone will boot to recovery again.
i tried to reflash the stock firmware using sp flashtool and it always fails as the system will not recognise the phone, even though i have the required mtk drivers installed.
i tried to flash this https://androidhq254.blogspot.com.ng...te-3-x601.html and http://bbs.infinixmobility.com/thread-149453-3-1.html custom roms using the custom recovery, they all fail mid way.
i will appreciate any help i can get in reviving this phone. thanks in advance
P.S
when i try to flash a rom through recovery it shows:
mount system partition
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/mtk-mdc.0/11230000.mdc.0/by-name/system at /system: no such file or directory
unmount system partition
unmount of /system failed: no such volume
format system partition
E:Error in /storage/sdcard/........
(status0)
installation aborted
what do you make of this pls?

Any Custom Rom For X601 PLS Or How To Port Any Rom For This Device @elbana10
other link for super su please
Hi,
I would like to ask about my note 3 pro infinix
my phone was fine till I fine HD games. felt so slow and lag.
so I decided to root it by myself
I wasnt back up the ROM early. its my first time to root mediatek device..
in the middle of processing with flash tool. I "accidentally" klik format+download which made my phone dead.
I was frustated for 2 day to ressurect the phone. I searched for the ROM to flash it again. many ROM I tried. but then I found one. and my phone live again.
but then I notice there's was some error
1. wifi error NVRAM 0x10
2. battery is draining fast in idle state
so then I ask someone to root my phone. because rooting infinix note 3 pro is a pain. I got problem with some TWRP recovery booting. (when I press volume up + power button it wont boot the TWRP recovery, neither CTR).
and then my phone was rooted.
I tried to fix about NVRAM error WIFI with some tutorial in XDA forum . then it fixed
but the battery issue still there. I tried to calibrate it with some root apps, tried to empty to 0% and charge it to 100%, and I tried Lspeed app and HEBF app but the battery still a pain for idle state.
I notice it drops 30% - 40% per night (about 6 hours)
and I notice theres is an error. my SIM2 IMEI is wrong.
how can I fix the battery ?
before I bricked it the battery was super save. when I ressurect it the battery is a pain for idle state.
did I flash a wrong ROM
It was my fault I didnt back up the ROM
and didn't save the build number
I lives in Indonesia. so flash ROM for Indonesia
I got that ROM from Xclub forum
but the battery issue wont solve
please help
